Plot Outline Submission Template:

1. What is going to happen in your plot?

- On Ossus Jedi Knight Raylan Shawl will be caught in the middle of a Sith attack against a small town. After the battle that took place on the planet Raylan will be recovering from his wounds. The towns people will secretly be harboring Raylan, protecting him from the Sith whom won the previous battle. After sheltering in this town, a secret Jedi safe haven, a pair of Sith will lead a war party against the townspeople. A ruthless assault will then begin and only a handful of people will bravely stand against the Sith. Raylan will challenge the Sith, lose and ultimately be apprehended into Sith custody.

Not before calling for aid though, sending a distress signal for immediate assistance. Two individuals rise to the occasion, forging their way through newly claimed Sith territory they seek to rescue Raylan. They explore the ruined town and discover the Sith encampment where Raylan and some of the townspeople are being held. Launching an attack against the Sith they free Raylan Shawl then fight alongside the rescued prisoners. Ultimately ending in the forced retreat of the Sith and freedom of the townspeople.

2. What other players will be a part of this?

- @Raydo and his character Silas Rin

- @Loco and his character Fennex Zeerda

- @Rexx and his character Kalladrrl

- @Dread and her character Vex

3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?

- This plot will take place strictly on Ossus, after the skirmishes, but various locations on the planet.

4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.

Thread 1 - This thread will consist of a CPvP with my character Raylan and the two Sith characters, Kalladrrl and Vex. The two Sith will lead a raid against the town with the aid of a trooper detachment. Raylan Shawl and a few townspeople will confront the Sith in vain. Their goal is to hold the Sith off while some of the townspeople dispatch a distress signal. After a very brutal skirmish Raylan will be defeated in combat and the town will burn. However the signal for help will be sent and all Raylan can hope for is someone to answer his call for help. He'll be taken in Sith custody and suffer through the hospitality of a Sith wookie.

Thread 2 - Luckily Raylan's signal for help is answered by Jedi Master Fennex Zeerda and the former Jedi Knight Silas Rin. The two had not known their paths would cross but both seemed to have the common goal of finding Knight Shawl. They explore the town and it's horrors left by the Sith even though there is a rift between them, Jedi and former Jedi. A small squad of troopers is sent back to the town to look for any survivors, hearing rumors of a force sensitive child which was hiding during the original assault. The pair of rescuer's attack this patrol in the attempt of finding the location of where the Sith went with their newly acquired prisoners. They learn the location.

Thread 3 - After finding the location of the Sith base the two Jedi must now rescue Raylan. Knight Shawl is very weak, having been tortured by Kalladrrl, the wookie attempting to learn the location of the force sensitive child the Sith had yet to find. Once more a fight break outs, this time the assault is sprung by the Jedi, whom with the element of surprise manage to free Raylan. The two Jedi, and banished one, fight together to repel the Sith and free the townspeople whom were captured. With great pain and struggle an epic (Badass) fight for freedom ensues. Ending ultimately with the forced retreat of the Sith.

Thread 4 - A day or two after the climatic fight the three heroes of the story unite with the townspeople. There they discuss the future of the towns relationship towards the Jedi. Naturally the town is reluctant to continue aiding the Jedi, even though they were eventually saved by them, they still lost so much because of the Jedi. Or at least that's how some of the townspeople see it. The goal of the three protagonist (Fennex, Silas and Raylan) is to convince the town to stay loyal to the Jedi cause. In addition to this the three Jedi must decide the fate of the force sensitive child who makes appearances in the other threads.

5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?

Character development all around.

In this plot we have Raylan Shawl, a young Jedi who thinks to much of himself. He will be taught a harsh and very cruel lesson through pain and struggle. The Sith and their actions throughout the plot will affirm his true test of loyalty to the Jedi cause. He will grow as a character when he realizes that he can't win alone. In thread 1 we see Raylan challenge the Sith and lose. In thread 3 we see Raylan not only saved by his two companions but also repel the Sith which he couldn't do alone. Not only that but, with his arrogance, Raylan's actions costs the lives of an innocent townspeople, they die because he wasn't strong enough to protect them. Or at least that's how he feels. This plot will be a trial for him and I hope he grows for the better.

In addition I think the other members within the plot will find their own individual character growth. I can't speak for them but I can see the possibility.

6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.

No, Raylan will be in all but 1 of these threads. The one that he isn't in I'll DM personally so that I can keep the story focused on the themes I'd like to portray.
