The Shadow Syndicate
A VAST, ORGANIZED CRIMINAL NETWORK
A VAST, ORGANIZED CRIMINAL NETWORK
The Shadow Syndicate are among the most infamous criminal families of Hutt Space, having bases primarily on Nar Shaddaa, Nal Hutta and Nar Kreeta. Ruthless and conniving, the Shadow Syndicate began as a humanocentric movement against the more Hutt-dominated cartels common to Hutt Space.
Organized from several groups, including the official business of the successful Club Vertica Casino, located on Nar Shaddaa, the slaving organization, known as the Nar Kreeta Labor Alliance, and the contract killers of the Annihilator Network, the Shadow Syndicate represents everything wrong with the galaxy. Stretching their influence into as many outlets to expand their power and influence, albeit not the extent to draw the ire of the more powerful Hutt Cartels, the Shadow Syndicate is a growing danger to the more peaceful and orderly galaxy. Unlike brutish pirates or raiders, the Shadow Syndicate's greatest weapon is their aptitude in corrupting others, particularly legal or political officials, to in turn grant them degrees of leverage. Intimidation, fear-mongering, bribery, blackmail and propaganda are the Shadow Syndicate's favored methods, although they are far from above assassinations, abductions or torture. Although chiefly found as one of the many players of Hutt Space, elements representing the Shadow Syndicate can sometimes be found in various points of the Outer Rim, such as the Labor Alliance and running their routine "recruitment drives" of slave hauling and trading.

Ranks & Assets
Three Rings: There are four tiers within the ranks of the Syndicate. Those with three rings have the most power and are the less common of the tiers. Three Ring members wear their stripes with pride and are met with the utmost respect. They are the leaders of the Syndicate and usually have their own base of operations which they work out of. They have earned their stripes with their brilliant minds and leadership capabilities to prove they can run a large scale family. Three Ring members have their choice of slaves and are well taken care of within the Syndicate, needing to do nothing for themselves.
Two Rings: The third tier comprises of members who have earned Two Rings. These members are the lieutenants in an army. They have proven themselves to be competent and trustworthy. Two Ring members oversee missions directly and provide insight into future problems their team may encounter. They are the first members to not be out in the field and can safely work from the sidelines. Two Rings are paid well for their efforts and are given their first slave as a bonus.
One Ring: The second to lowest tier is given to members who have earned their first Ring. They are the team captains and in charge of their direct unit. While receiving orders from the higher tiers, they are the members who take point on their missions and ensure the team is successful. Single Ring members are expected to get results throughout any problems that arise in the field. Pay for the second tier is not great, but they are allowed to purchase slaves from the Syndicate.
Numbers: The lowest of the tiers holds the most members and quite honestly are expendable. Sent in as the militia of the Syndicate the Numbers are those who have yet to prove their worth and make a name for themselves. The pay is pitiful yet only slightly greater than being a slave themselves, though slaves are ranked in this tier. No member without a Ring is allowed to own a slave.

The Second In Charge of the Shadow Syndicate, CaidenVex has followed Gavros since they were kids. Upon Gavrov's capture by The Accord, Caiden took hold of the Syndicate in his absence. He was less excited to see his best friend take back command of the Syndicate, but was grateful for his safe return.

The Shadow Syndicate is an Independent faction seeking to take its place in the Outer Rim. Their biggest rival are the Hutt Cartels, as such, the group as a whole is mainly humanoid in race as they were first created to compete against them. The Syndicate will give members a chance to be in a crime family not offered within the current timeline. As the moderator, I will offer missions for members to participate in while also being available to join in if needed. The group IC will not seek to spread out its territory in terms of war, but the option will be available to expand in diplomatic terms via contracts and the like from other factions. For the most part, the group will operate around the outer rim as well as Wild Space engaging in PVP with member permission OOC. As a moderator of the group, I will not be participating in any PVP but will be available to create enemies and environments for PVE threads.[/fancybox2]
