The new banner is live!

We were planning on doing this while the board was offline, but, even though the new timeline hasn't started yet, Hassan has put up the new banner for us. This banner, created by Boli, is a reflection of the new timeline, whereas the one we've had for awhile now suited the Great Hutt Wars timeline.

On the left panel, you can see a number of ships engaging in battle. There are Alliance ships behind the Star Wars Legacies logo, plus a space battle to the right of that: X-wings and TIE fighters are duking it out while a Mon Cal cruiser and an Imperial Star Destroyer hang behind them.

In the right panel, a Jedi Knight and a Sith Lord engage in a fierce lightsaber duel. The image of Thrawn from the novel Outbound Flight is used to represent the Chiss. To his right are the Imperial Knights, and ending the banner is a Mandalorian.

All five main factions plus our official independent faction (Imperial Knights) are depicted in this awesome banner. We hope you all like it and can't wait to hear what you think!

If you're using the pitch black skin, all we've done is update the logo.

Seriously considering just using this skin from now on just for that banner even though I bloody love our Pitch Black skin. My one very small criticism is that it does kind of highlight the Chiss over everyone else a little as everything is happening around Thrawns untimely gaze.

Quite a few actually - I chose Thrawn because he's such an iconic representation of the Chiss, and a good representation of what the Chiss are about this timeline.

While I do agree that it does seem to emphasize the Chiss, they also are the new faction to the SWRP and why not highlight them?
