They'd be dead, probably just a vague name in history.

Is it possible for alliances to be made outside of the set ones now? For example the Mandalorians (I know will never happen xD) giving their allegiance to the Empire during the course of the RP? Or is this set in stone? I am new to these forums and this will be my first played timeline, so if this is common knowledge then I apologize.

Those are the power groups set up for the timeline.

If over time they change then they change.

Hopefully the FLs will be given a day to set up their stuff before the timeline starts. Will full out war start immediately, or will there be a week, give or take, of a grace period, to allow factions to set up? This is my first timeline change, so I don't know.

So basically, FLs that were in the think tank get a little bit of an advantage because they could work with what was being developed in the think tank, rather than vague things to go with any timeline.

From the no grace period for FLs to get things together. While those who weren't in the think tank have to start from scratch, those in the think tank have the oppurtunity to start ahead of time.

That's a big assumption. No one ever said there wasn't going to be time for faction leaders to prepare for the beginning of the timeline.

Last time, it took a couple weeks till a Hutt raid on Corellia was started. And I believe it was several months before the starting battle of Coruscant in the third timeline.

Maybe I misunderstood what Matt meant, but it seemed like he was implying there wouldn't be. My apologies for any confusion.

Doesn't really matter if the Faction Leader was in the Think Tank. Yea, they'll be more familiar with the faction, but they first need to deal with organizing their numbers (IE character applications), their goals, their plans, and a a myriad of other things unable to be done before they are selected.

Also, note that 98% of the people in all the factions WON'T have been in the Think Tank, so that really counterbalances any possible advantage.
