How close is the timeline to being finished?

That's always been a tentative date and is still subject to change.

So, I'm in a situation where I'm planning an RP. The wonderful thing about this RP is whatever the think tank comes up with is pretty much irrelevant, but said RP could still plausibly influence the timeline while FLs are still getting their stuff together. At the very least, this RP determines my faction alignment.

Problem is, one of the RPers involved goes on holiday about a week after Friday. So there really isn't a whole lot of time for this RP to absorb think-tank related delays.

If the timeline change gets held up past Friday, is it permissible for us to go ahead and start, save our posts to our computers, and re-paste it into the new timeline when it is up to alleviate this problem?

Yeah. You guys can write up role-plays ahead of time if you really want to. They just can't be posted here.
