So after a second watching of the trailer, there seem to be some things that may put Kashyyyk as a place visited during the story, possibly. (Lots of Woodlands, fallen clone trooper sporting the greens of the Kashyyyk clones in ep3)
Looks so great, but I'm still somewhat wary of triple-A games. Been burned too many times in modern gaming by great looking packages delivering underwhelming goods (with the exception of RDR2)
Step 1: Don't Pre-order
Step 2: Check the reviews, both professional and user-made
Step 3: Wait a month or two to ensure irritating bugs, glitches and other technical issues are worked out
Still, I can't help but be quite optimistic by the premise. Feels like TFU meets Uncharted with some Mirror's Edge thrown in there for good measure
Fallen order was probably the only thing that got me enthusiastic, along with the new clone Wars season trailer. But, likewise. As much as it looks good, I hope the overall game will look good. Previous games didn't hold good expectations.
Well, they have made promises which they kinda have to keep. No microtransactions etc. EA knows that if they try to add in something like that after saying they wouldn't, they would be in dire trouble with their fanbase. And with just one avenue to focus on, there's not really much excuse is there?
Hmm... will be interesting to see how the guys responsible for Titanfall (Respawn Entertainment) handle a Star Wars title.
The trailer looks good, and I'm pretty interested in seeing a story set between RotS and ANH, but I'm going to approach this with an abundance of caution. Mostly because I didn't care for the Titanfall games, and EA has a pretty shoddy track record as is. Tentatively, this game has my eye, but I'll be waiting on reviews before I dig into my wallet.
