So, while I am brand spanking shiny new to this forum, I have years under my belt doing internet roleplaying. One of my preferred RPing forms is, what can really only accurately be described as a merry band of bumbling idiots, stupiding (a situation where you have no idea what you are doing and yet still succeed in the end) their way across numerous storylines. I have a few questions about how this play style fits in with these forums and this RP community as a whole.
How do I actually go about starting this out? I see that there is a character creation section of the forum, but do I really need to make an individual page for each of the 3, 4, 5, 6, etc members of my group? Usually my characters are often defined by one or two distinct quirks (kind of like the seven dwarves in Snow White), so there isn't a whole lot to write up about them. It is the group dynamic which makes it work.
What is the tolerance for sillyness here? I've seen some comical pages, such as a character page for Slim Shady and a technology page for a robot horse, so I know it's not totally straight faced. Naturally, joining many of the storylines here would require me to make my intentions clear to the author and get their permission to join, but do people generally try to keep things serious business here?
