The new trailer for Rebels Season Three, featuring the first canon appearance of a very popular Legends character!
Agreed. On the one hand I wanted a smaller show just about the formation of the Rebel Alliance, without the Force or Jedi mythology or anything. But the idea of it being this vital part of canon has really grown on me. It's become like TCW where it's just not a "fill in the blanks" show. If you want the full Star Wars story, you need to watch these shows. It's becoming better with every season because it's not a stand-alone series. Ahsoka, Maul, Thrawn and Wedge Antilles (and more Mandalorians) make it seem this vital crossroad for the entire new canon. I'm hyped, for sure.
I had the same thought. After Season 2, one character I am curious about is Agent Kallus. After "The Honorable Ones", I'm wondering if he will remain with the Empire or maybe defect. We haven't seen him in the trailer(Unless I missed him) so I am wondering if Thrawn is going to be the central villain to stopping the Rebels since three Inquisitors have failed.
I didn't notice that. I think you're right. You missed Kallus. He's most likely Fulcrum. The new Fulcrum had the same inflections and speech patterns as Kallus did. We saw him sorta question the Empire last season. And with Ashoka seemingly missing, and there being a new Fulcrum, that sounds like Kallus? Yeah, he's most likely an insider for the Rebels now.
Well you're in luck. They announced a new Timothy Zahn book; Thrawn. Soooo stoked.I hope Thrawn is killed off in the show. I would like to see him in additional material. I enjoyed his novels.
My theory is the woman is Sloane.
I'm eager to see where they take Ezra. He has come a long way from being a fairly meh character in S1.
Same. I really just did not care for him in the last two seasons, and I hope this one will make him a bit more interesting. He was the only crew member I just did not care for, other then thinking that Chopper is a sociopath.
Tarkin says her name. It's Governor Pryce. She was mentioned a few times in Season 1. She was away at Coruscant to attend the anniversary of the Empire's founding. Now she's back.I don't recognize the female character that introduced Thrawn, but if she is entirely new, it'll be interesting to see if she gets the Rae Sloane treatment, where a one-off appearance turns her into a reoccuring secondary character.
Did anyone else notice they were going into how the force works and talking about the gray side of the force >.>
They tried combining the jedi and sith holocrons, and that big rock, monster thing was talking about the neutral side of the force. At least from what I heard that is what it seemed to me. Hopefully this doesn't open the door to more and more people going the Darth Raven route here. I mean they have always brought up the force being three sides, the light, the dark and neutral even in the clone wars during the time Anakin meeting the ones. So curious to see what they do.
