Neither of my characters are Masters, but I can say this much. Dex changed a few things so people could join the Jedi and for padawans to become knight's faster. Like you can join the Jedi no matter what age your character is. Padawans no longer need todo the Jedi Trials to become a Knight. However, as the Admins (as Jedi Council members), may be changing things again.
I may have a heck of a time getting back into the swing of things when I come back in 3 weeks. Though, I am betting I can find a library that may let use a computer for a few hours. I don't think I'll be able to be active enough to RP in the stories my characters are in. I may be around in some form though. I'll have to wait and see tomorrow night.
Last time I checked. Chafe was right, you don't have to be a youngling to be trained. Now you can be at whatever age. And he is right on the fact we have taken away the trials.
I know your saying at any age you can train sombody and i know i am not a master, so i dont know if i should be saying anything on this topic, but isnt there a age limit like you can't be trained at like 80, i just wanted to know.
Can i post on here since i am not a Jedi, but i am wanting to be one, i am waiting for a master or a Knight to come along and teach me.
In our timeline, anyone can join the order at any age, but if you want to join any later than 3 (for a human, other races please ask) then you need council approval. Padawans do not need to take the trials, but their master will create some final test, or task for them to complete, a popular one is to send them off to build their own lightsaber, of course there is nothing wrong with them doing this prior to their final task, but they must have done before they become a Knight.
