If you look at all the threads, there are threads where the Hutts posted and the Republic didn't, threads where the Republic posted and the Hutts didn't, a thread where no one posted and threads where the Hutts and Republic posted.

This is the main reason battle threads should not be broken up so much. The mismatch between who is active in what thread just causes the whole thing to grind to a halt.

On the other hand, if it were all combined into one thread, having a posting order can also grind things to a halt when one person forgets to post. And there, the whole battle comes grinding to a halt rather than one specific section.
