Open Social Padawans Got it Going On

[Shaw Amaris]

Theia's encouragement was the little push he needed to loosen up and quit staring at his feet, smiling at his dance partner instead. Shaw still had a long way to go, and he wouldn't be starring on Disco with the Stars anytime soon, but he hadn't tripped over his own feet quite as many times as he would have thought. "Thanks," he smiled. "You're not so bad yourself." Translation? Doing way better than he ever would.

A playful grin spread across his lips when she mentioned that she had been digging into spirits and ghosts in her spare time. You know, as most teenagers do. "Straight up?" he asked at first, just to make sure she was serious and not messing with him. She was serious alright. "Thought you would have had enough of all Scooby Doo stuff after Qatamer."

Shaw just hung there awkwardly for a few seconds as Theia dipped him unexpectedly, not sure what he was supposed to do. He thought she might drop him at first, but girl was steady as a rock. "Girrrrrl," he grinned real big, seriously impressed. "You been working out?" He knew she liked to run, but she must have implemented some weights into her workout routine or something.

Pizza sounded great. Shaw was starting to get hungry himself, and the burgers he had been looking forward to all week were definitely a bust. Before they reached the table he cast a glance back Prani's way, grinning when he saw that she was surrounded by a group of people. She deserved all of the attention she was getting. She was mad skilled on that hallikset. Well, a group was a little too vague. They were all boys. He tried not to let that detail bother him. @Sreeya

"I got a master!" Shaw perked up at the question, the sephi a nice distraction from whatever was going on with Prani and all those other boys. "Master Valtiere!" He loved talking about the sephi, so if Theia had any questions Shaw would be more than happy to answer them. Girls usually did have questions, and usually he fielded them, but Shaw didn't mind answering any questions Theia might have. She was his friend and he liked her a lot.

Opening up a pizza box at random, Shaw stared. "Pineapple on pizza?" he asked aloud. He had never tried it before. @GABA

 

[Prani Shalrazi]

“Oh gosh..” Prani mumbled, blushing furiously at Roanoke (@Graveyard Shift ), “I don’t think I can ever play a concert, but thanks anyway,” She smiled at him, genuinely happy for the feedback. When Roanoke mentioned he knitted, her face lit up at once, “Really? I crochet!” She announced cheerfully, “My family and me grew up livin’ on caravans and tradin’ our wares. So we make all sorts of stuff! Beads, jewelry, and of course lots of hand-knitted stuff,” She realized she was rambling and took a deep breath, “Sorry, I don’t meet too many folks that like knittin’ my age,” She chuckled sheepishly.

Prani thought about her hobbies, “I like readin’ books a lot,” She didn’t go into how she liked sappy romances the best with a cheerful girl and broody bad boy trope, “And anythin’ outdoors really. You’ll find me out in the courtyard a lot with my hallikset or near the stables with the bantha,” She smiled, “Me and Shoe are best buds!” She said happily. She had the strangest naming conventions with animals and no one understood it.

As Zessel (@LouJoVi ) gave his suggestions, Prani nodded, “Well I sure am glad you don’t think it’s silly ‘cause it’d be a tragedy not to have your desserts at every event!” She said.

“Hi Levet!” She said when the Mandalorian (@Darasuum ) introduced himself, “I’m Prani,” She said. Her gaze flicked to the other boy (@StephDLegend ) she hadn’t met yet, “Hey! Don’t believe we’ve met,” She said as she reached a hand to shake his. Prani's gaze briefly searched to look for Shaw (@throwitintothefire ), spotting him near the other pizzas. Theia (@GABA )was still next to him. Prani wasn't an idiot, she could tell the way the other girl looked at Shaw. Prani quickly looked back at Kaedan, pushing any negative thoughts starting to creep into her mind aside.

 

[Arandur Teltathlal]

Arandur followed Shaw to the snacks table, and as he told him his name a red head padawan whisked him away to dance. Arandur opened up the snack container and dipped a vegetable in the dip and ate it. He watched the party for a moment debating getting his notebook and sketching everyone dancing. As he went to grab it someone approached him.

She tapped on his shoulder causing him to turn around. It was the girl that wouldn’t let go of Shaw, Regina he believed he heard her called. She asked him if he wanted to dance, his gaze looked up past her and into the party, spotting Shaw still dancing, “If your doing this just because Shaw is busy I have to decline.” He said in a flat tone. Regina was fuming even more now, not only did Theia act the way she was over dancing with Shaw but this boy had the audacity to say no to her and assume she was just keeping busy from Shaw, “Do you know who I am? I’m Regina, every boy in the academy would beg to get asked by me to dance.” She fired back full of sass and annoyance, to her dismay Arandur was unmoved just looking at her as she spoke eating another vegetable. “Then you’d find someone else who wants to dance with you. I’m not one of them.” He said as he took a seat.

Regina scoffed to try and hide her anger at this, she flipped her hair and went to turn, stopping and glaring at him. Regina was livid now, she let out a screech, “YOU JERK!!” Arandur put his hands over his ears, the loud sound causing him actual pain. She stormed towards the pizza shoving another padawan (@Darasuum) that was in her way.

Arandur slowly removed his hands from his ears and made his way to the pizza. He walked over next to the one that got shoved, “I didn’t realize we were in a movie about a surfing raccoon. Why didn’t you let me know?” He asked as he looked the person up and down. He was far different from the robe wearing individuals that roamed the halls of the academy. He grabbed a slice of the veggie pizza and took a bite, it was good enough to enjoy.

[Caul]

”Order 66!” called the cafeteria lady. Caul stepped forward and grabbed his food. He was starving and all Shaw’s talk about burgers had given him a huuuuuuuge craving for one. Or 3. Being a Jedi was hard work. He was a growing boy–er man, wait, why am I arguing with myself? Caul snapped out of his weird little day dream, flashed the lunch lady an apologetic smile, and snagged his bag of burgers.

The bag was way heavier than he’d expected and he practically dropped it, stopping a little puzzled, he checked the contents, there were four motha’flipping burgers in there, son! Then he realized he was an idiot and probably just grabbed the wrong order by mistake. He turned around with a sappy apologetic smile still plastered on his face and met the lingering gaze of the lunch lady.

“I’m sorry, I think—”
“You didn’t,” answered the Lunch Lady before Caul could finish.
“I didn’t?” he asked dumbly.
She shook her head, “We’re closing up, and I figured you could take a few extra with you, you padawan always look malnourished.”
“Oh, uh, thanks!” said Caul doing his best not to read into this situation at all. The Lunch Lady nodded, winked, then sauntered back to the kitchen like the goddess of burgers she was.

Caul turned around, “Welp, zero people are going to believe that just happned,” he murmured to himself. “What the hell am I going to do with four burgers?” He looked back in the direction of the cookout. Aw, man how lame would I look showing back up after leaving… he wondered, then a light bulb went off and he took off running for his room. If he came back with something then it wouldn’t be like he just totally bailed, it’d be like he was trying to do something nice and people would totally think that was cool.

Caul slid into his room and immediately started rummaging through his stuff, “C’mon, just be somewhere I can get too– Ah, YES!” he whipped around proudly displaying his modded Dejarik table top that came preloaded with ‘The Settlers of Alderaan!’

A few minutes later Caul strode back out into the party zone. Things seemed to have chilled significantly which he promptly thanked the force for. He put his bag of burgers on the ground and set up his table off to the side so it wasn’t in anyone’s way, now he just needed Shaw to smell the burgers he’d brought and the game would be afoot.

[Levet Vizsla]

Levet was working on his second, maybe third slice of pizza when he was bumped from behind. It nearly made him swallow the bite wrong and have a close call with choking but he recovered quickly. But his hands had spilled the remainder of his plate on the ground. Perfectly good food, wasted. His eyes quickly found the back of the loud and supposedly popular girl. The mandalorian had met girls like her before. He had beaten up boys like her too. With some finessing he willed a root to sprout up in front of regina, low to the ground so it was hard to see and high enough for her to trip. “Girl you trippin’”

Not wasting any more time on her, whether she fell or not, he looked for more pizza. But before he found any he was approached by one of the other padawans, this one making a joke at his outfit. Levet wasted no time and sucker punched him in the face with enough force to break his nose. “Your face isn’t made for movies.” He was still hot off of losing both the pizza and all the noise and rudeness was pissing him off. Maybe it was only Zessel who knew how he had joined the order and why. The padawan was a genuine “reformed” delinquent. Reformation pending. Two things were clear. He hated bullies and he was not afraid of a fight.

[Theia Durand]

"No way! That's great!" she exclaimed hearing him explain that he had gotten a master to help with his training. Though she was even more shocked when he said it was Master Valtiere, "NO WAY!" she was in awe, disbelief and impressed that such a legendary Jedi Master picked him out of all students here to train. "Master Valtiere is like...the GOAT, and he's so mysterious, I love reading the tabloids about him." she giggled as she continued through the pizza boxes to find her order. Though Shaw managed to find it first.

"Hell yes, pineapple and pepperoni!" she said grabbing a plate and the bottle of hot sauce, "Perfect balance of sweet and spicy." she said taking a generous portion, topping several slices on her plate and dumping hot sauce.

"I'm really excited that you got Master Valtiere," Theia told him, "He's like the hottest Jedi here..." she said, feeling her cheeks turn red as she looked back to Shaw, her face becoming as bright red as her hair, "Like here...as in the temples, not like at the party, because you would be that, you know, like hottest, or, one...or," Theia quickly glanced away, shoving the pizza in her mouth and to her luck Regina was screeching again, and it looked as though someone just tried to punch another padawan, grabbing the attention of everyone around them.

"HEY! NOT BY THE PIZZA!" she yelled at Levet, grateful for the distraction as she was totally flubbing up her flirting.

[Kaedan]

Kaedan smiled as Prani spoke and introduced herself to Duma. He waited patiently, letting her speak with him so that he didn't interrupt. He listened as she spoke about her family and reading. She also spoke of being outdoors either with her instrument or in the stables. Kaedan found it fascinating to find the few padawans that he met had some sort of affiliation with nature to some degree. When she turned her attention to him, he politely shook hers. "I believe you're correct. I'm Kaedan, nice to meet you."

When she looked away, he noticed her expression before she faced him again. "Where did you learn how to play the hallikset? Did it come natural or otherwise?" He found the instrument fascinating. Before hearing her play it, he never heard anyone play the instrument. He did learn about it on one of his past knowledge dives but that was the extent of that.

He heard the commotion with Regina and looked over to see. "Is she always this problematic?"

[Dumaagorn Yagah]

Duma was enjoying himself among the new company, although some were a bit strange he liked them. As Lever smiled, he smiled back and took the number for later. He was more than happy to help out another musician and listened as Prani outlined her own hobbies. A big smile shot across his lip as she mentioned she shared a love of animals. He chuckled at the name, it was very unusual but he found it endearing. Shoe. He wondered how it got the name.

"Shoe?" he said "It's a great name. Unusual but great, how did they get it if you don't mind me asking? I also as I said love animals, always had a connection with them. We used to have a wolf called Sevrin, was my friend until the Sith came."

He said and shortly after was finishing his last slice when things started to go sour around the area.

He was not amused that the Sephi decided to bully the Mandalorian, Levet. And was half tempted to say something although what happened took him by surprise. As the smaller, leaner man took a swing at the taller Sephi, forcing him to step back a bit to avoid the confrontation. He wasn't one for violence but in this case he thought it was deserved. Even if he shouldn't be thinking like that.

The bully deserved a lesson although not quite like that.

He observed to see what might happen next, although was equally enjoying the conversation between the group.

[Prani Shalrazi]

Plant Surge wasn’t that instant for most Knights, let alone padawans that didn’t specialize in it. That combined with Levet’s (@Darasuum )pun about tripping gave Regina plenty of accidental premature notice. She gave him a perplexed look and kept walking as his intended root finally protruded from the ground well after she stepped over it.

Meanwhile, Prani was focused on Kaedan (@StephDLegend )addressing her, “My pa taught me!” She said with a proud grin, “This hallikset actually belongs to my grandpa,” She said. Prani was jealously protective over the instrument and how long it remained in the family. She hoped to pass it onto her own children one day if things worked out. Prani was about to talk about Shoe the bantha when Regina scuttled next to them. She had a drink in her hand, flashing a smile to the boys but standing next to Prani.

“He’s a player, you know,” Regina said quietly, her line of sight towards Shaw and Theia, “Theia had her paws all over him and he was the same with her all while you provided the sweet, sweet background music,” She said as she drank from her glass. Regina only smiled at any of the boys standing across her, uncaring if they tried to come to Shaw’s defense or not. Not a single one of them could deny the dancing.

“So what?” Prani said with a sigh, “Ya want some pizza?” She asked Regina. However, there was no denying the nagging at the back of her mind. She didn’t miss how flustered Theia was around Shaw or how Shaw kept close to just her the entire evening. Prani was a kind and easygoing person, but she couldn’t deny the pangs of hurt in her chest.

Regina rolled her eyes as she accepted the pizza from Prani, “Word of advice because you’re too nice to function,” She said sternly, her gaze flicking down and up across Prani, “Go for the quiet, shy guys. They won’t fuck around with you,” Regina said, perhaps the first time she ever looked genuine. She said nothing else, her heels clicking as she blew kisses to the boys and walked over to watch the fight.

Prani was hardly aware of the fight happening, but it provided the perfect distraction. She gave an awkward bye to anyone that was looking her way, mumbled some lame excuse, and slinked away to leave the party.

/Exit Attempt

 

[Caul]

Today had been one of the single weirdest days of his Padawan life. At this point he was starting to think he was bad luck. Everytime he showed up something wild went down. Thankfully, he’d stuck to the fringes of the party. So, when he saw Prani peel away he couldn’t help but wonder if she was okay.

His tawny eyes flicked from her to the chick walking away and back and he could guess the other chick was a jerk. How could you possibly be mean to Prani? Caul got up from his limited edition Settlers of Alderaan playing board and jogged after her.

“Hey Prani, hold up! Don’t leave before I have the chance to say hi!” he said with a smile as he approached.

[Zessel]

Prani’s (@Sreeya) comment made Zessel smile. Rather than feeling shy, he felt happy when people praised his work. “Your monkey bread looks delicious. I’ll totally pick a bit of it after I finish with the pizza.” the presentation was cute and the smell was good. The half-Arkanian was sure that it would be delicious.

“I’m good.” he said, while removing his hand from Roanoke’s shoulder. “I still haven't forgotten the caramelized nuts. I’ll give them to you next time that we work together.” Zessel never forgets a promise, especially one that he made to a friend.

Before he could say anything else to the Mandalorian, like mention when they were going to have that movie night together, Regina shoved his friend out of the way. Zessel’s dislike for that girl increased tenfold in that moment. ‘She is a big bitch.’ the half-Arkanian thought, wondering if there would be some beetles around to swarm her in case of him throwing a cupcake at her.

The half-Arkanian decided against it when he remembered that Prani wasn’t going to like it. He didn’t want to disappoint the nice girl.

He turned his attention to Levet, but the Mandalorian decided to pick a fight with someone taller than him. Zessel sighed, remembering the story that his friend told him of how he entered the Order. It always gave him the impression that Levet’s parents weren’t going to be happy if they discovered that their son was fighting.

It could leave Levet in trouble, perhaps even force him out of the Order.

Zessel walked toward them, careful to avoid receiving an accidental punch. “People, why don’t we stop it and have fun at the party?” he said to the two, before turning to look at Levet. “It has been fun so far, why ruin it with a fight?”

[Prani Shalrazi]

Prani was patting herself on the back for making a slick escape. Her mind was reeling and she felt like throwing up, but at least she wasn’t going to be around everyone. It wasn’t often that she found herself irritated, but somewhere under the hurt anger simmered. Shaw had asked her out and made a whole show of planning a date and time. And yet today he couldn’t even spare a glance her way and had all his attention on Theia. Why lead her on? Why ask her out or do any of that nonsense? Why couldn’t he simply ask Theia out instead and leave her alone?

Before she could fully exit, she heard Caul address her. Prani winced, almost considering not hearing him so she could keep walking. She was partially out of the party area and it was much quieter here now. Prani looked at him curiously - did he look different from the last time she saw him? Weird.

“Hey Caul,” She said, her smile not quite reaching her eyes, “I’m real tired so I was headin’ out,” She muttered, fidgeting where she stood. Prani wanted nothing more than to disappear back into her dorm room and dive into one of her romance novels that always had happy endings. It was silly to think that the romance stuff could ever happen to her in real life. Especially with the most popular guy at the academy.

“But you should go back in and enjoy! I hear there’s even a fight now,” She said, her face scrunching up a bit.

[Kaedan]

Kaedan smiled when Prani spoke about the Hallikset being in her family for generations and that her dad taught her. “That’s pretty cool.” He wondered if there were any special heirlooms being passed down by any of the other padawans’ parents. Would his ship count in this case since it was his mom’s and now it was his? Interesting.

When Regina sat next to Prani, Kaedan heard what she said and saw that it had an effect on Prani. “Knock it off, Nerko!” Kaedan said to Regina just as Prani got up to leave. With everything he noticed, he put 2 and 2 together, realizing that Prani and Shaw were in some sort of relationship.

Kaedan stood up from his seat and walked over to where Shaw and Theia was. “Hey, excuse me for a moment, I may need to borrow Shaw.” He said, as politely as possible. He leaned over and whispered so that only Shaw could hear as he didn’t want to make a big scene. “I’m not sure if you and Prani are dating or if that's any of my business. From what I can see, you two are and you're messing up big time. Also, that problem child over there (Regina) said some hurtful things that made her storm off. If I were you, I’d go maybe have a chat with her. Anyway, that’s all I have to say.” Kaedan stepped back and smiled. "Thank you."

[Arandur Teltathlal]

Arandur should’ve expected a reaction but he didn’t so when the punch came he wasn’t able to dodge it. He didn’t take the nose shattering hit dead on though seeing it before it hit his instincts to dodge it kicked in just too late, instead it caught him in the cheek. The force of it caused him to stumble back a little, before he kicked his leg out to sweep the shorter boy’s feet from under him.

If that didn’t work he would grab the closest pizza and slap him with it. It was some kind of buggy monstrosity of a pizza and he was partly glad he used it. “Why are bugs on the pizza?” He asked aloud to no one in particular. He had just thrown a kick towards the other padawans mid section when someone interrupted, his leg stopping mid kick. His leg lowered and he glanced over to the intrusion (@LouJoVi), “If you get him to stop I’ll stop.”

He turned his attention back to the floral shirt wearer, “What do you say? Are we stopping or continuing?” He asked his guard still up.

[Caul]

As soon as he caught up to her he felt like he’d made a mistake. The last time he’d seen Prani she’d basically been a sentient rainbow, now however she looked hurt. He couldn’t help but glance back over his shoulder at the chick he’d seen with Prani. He looked back and saw the anxiety all over her. It was like looking in the mirror. He decided then and there he’d at least walk her home, if he could cheer her up along the way, great! If not? Well hopefully he didn’t make things worse.

“I’m not big on parties to be honest, if you’re just heading back to the dorms I’d be happy to annoy you the whole way,” he said with a shrug.

Caul wouldn’t push, he didn’t want to hurt her more, but he also knew that when he was spiraling out it felt good to have someone around that understood.

[Prani Shalrazi]

“Me neither,” Prani said with a sigh as she started to walk, “I guess I wouldn’t mind some company. Just..uh..don’t mind me if I ain’t my usual cheery self,” She said with a faint grin, “Regina didn’t say anythin’ mean to me by the way,” Prani said, noting how Caul kept glancing back towards the other girl, “Just pointed out some truths, but I ‘ppreciate you lookin’ out,” She muttered.

“What you been up to anyway?” Prani asked, “And have ya been workin’ out or something?” She asked with a chuckle, “You look different,” Prani remarked, happy to move away from the topic of her angst.

Each step away from the party made her feel better, “Thanks…for not tryin’ to convince me to go back inside, by the way,” She said as she cast him a sideways glance while walking.

[Caul]

”Well, thanks for letting tag along, honestly I’m afraid of the dark so I’m not sure what would have done if you’d have said no,” he chuckled.

When she mentioned Regina, Caul managed to put together she was referring to the girl from earlier, “Not all words of wisdom, are,” he replied. “Sorry, I’ve been with the Jedi a long time, a lot of old people have taught me wise sayings.”

When Prani asked if he’d been working out he laughed, “I hit a hell of a growth spurt after our adventure and got a hair cut, you should of told me I looked so punchable, can I even trust you?” He said with a sly smile, then slipped back to her original question, “I just got in from Ellora earlier this week. It was a doozy. What about you been on any crazy missions recently?”

“You’re welcome, if you wanna talk about it, I’m happy to listen,” they’d been walking in step for a few paces and he leaned in playfully nudging her shoulder with his before adding, “We can also keep talking about my growth spurt, I’m happy to pretend it doesn’t make me wildly uncomfortable,” he laughed.

[Roanoke]

Roanoke is starting to feel more and more comfortable with the company around him. Prani's endearing shyness and eagerness when she shared that she's also crocheting, Duma's encouraging advice about picking up drawing again and entailing not to give up on it, Zessel's surprising but welcome supportive pat on the shoulder... man, he's glad to have accepted Shaw's invitation.

Before he can really thank them for their kind words and say anything else, Regina sidles up next to Prani (@Sreeya) while giving the boys a somewhat flirty (at least it looks to him) smile. He tries to focus on the boys' conversation around him, but it's hard not to overhear snippets of what she's telling Prani (damn his mother's genes!). And then she's off after blowing the boys kisses. Roanoke's body instinctively moves to the side, dodging the unwanted flying kiss with a furious blush on his face.

He doesn't know what to tell Prani, hell, he's not a romance guru or some type of shit. He also doesn't want to out himself overhearing what Regina said. He's only just met Prani and the other guys but he respects them, so he keeps his mouth shut. God, this feels awkward.

His loth-cat, undeterred that Kaedan (@StephDLegend) missed her acting all cute and wanting to be picked up, shifts her focus back to Roanoke. He's glad to oblige her, picking Lady up and settling her on his lap. Petting the purring loth-cat who's inquisitively looking up at Duma, he glances at Zessel (@LouJoVi) and follows his friend's line of sight, spotting Levet (@Darasuum) fighting the Sephi (@Javier esschoolbus) who brought additional veggie snacks. Roanoke purses his lips disapprovingly, having missed the cause for the squabble.

With his social battery slowly beginning to drain, Roanoke can't find it in himself to go after Zessel and help his friend break up the fight. The Sephi looks ready to stop, and besides the half-Arkanian seems to know Levet. So, with Lady purring happily on his lap, he looks up at Duma and focuses his attention on the Orcolan instead.

"You love animals. And, um, I'm sorry about your wolf..." he comments, having clearly remembered Duma's sharing earlier. Gently lifting Lady up, he carefully places the still purring loth-cat on the other Padawan's lap. "Don't worry, she d-doesn't bite. Her name's Lady. Say hi to Duma, pretty."

Lady does so by letting out a pretty long meow, stopping only for breath to rub her head affectionately against the Orc. Roanoke chuckles softly at the sight.

"I think she likes you," he lightly tells Duma with a shy but warm smile.

[Levet Vizsla]

Despite Levet's affinity for plant growth his attempted tripping towards Regina did not work. It was probably for the best and maybe after some time to mature he would have more of an understanding of the girl. But for now it seemed his pettiness fell through, probably for the best. It was an act born from impulse that was not entirely justified or deserved. After the party Levet may even try connecting with Regina and ask her what had driven her to such frustrations. But for now his mind was focused on more present matters.

Levet would have smiled at Zessel's words if not for Arandur's insult. The thoughts of caramelized nuts and their deliciousness evaporated and was replaced with his focus on beating the rudeness out of this redheaded jerk regardless of the fact that he was a full head taller than the Mandalorian. He was used to fighting and it was not exactly a surprise that the larger padawan tried to retaliate. But the Sephi's reach was superior and caused the human to lose his footing.

The ground rushed up to meet him but he was not entirely off balance. Both of his empty hands came up to arrest his fall and end up in the push up position though his head banged against the ground slightly. It was not as hard as it could have been but it dirtied his face and would leave a bruise for tomorrow. Mostly it was Levet's personal pride that was hurt more than anything.

On the ground, Levet's clenched fist quickly opened in preparation to catch the incoming foot but the attack never came. Zessel was the voice of reason in this case but the Mandalorian's blood was still hot. Defiance remained present in his eyes despite his position being significantly lower now than the towering padawan. He stood took the chance to stand up but remain ready for the pointy eared guy to take a shot as cheaply as Levet had a moment ago. He could think of a dozen things to say, most of which would probably spark further violence. But he chose action instead. Levet wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, checking to see if he had drawn blood but there was none. Levet's hand opened and he extended the arm for a handshake to the stranger.

He wanted to enjoy the party. Levet had come to make friends and socialize. Here he was getting into fight, again! Had he really grown at all or was he the same punk from New Mandalore that needed more discipline? No, he wanted to be better than that. Levet was not a slave to his emotions but he was just as stubborn as he was young. A few years ago and he would not have hesitated to keep fighting until he was pulled off of his opponent or he he was unable to fight. He had grown, even if only a little bit.

[Dumaagorn Yagah]

Everything changed almost in an instant. One moment everything seemed fine and he was enjoying listening to Prani talk about her hellikset and how it had been passed down. Which he found fascinating and the next hell seemed to break loose, as the fight continued and people moved to intercept or get out of the way. Another ran over to Shaw and Theia he noted. Some moved to watch the fight it as was the case of Regina. He observed as she moved over to Prani and said some things that caused Prani to leave. He wasn't a expert for advice especially about matters of the heart or know what he would do if he was in the position. He did know though that whatever was said appeared to be upsetting, true though it may have been.

As she flashed a smile, he wasn't sure what to think. She had a strange way about her that was almost unsettling.

He was saddened by the departure but said goodbye as Prani went, if she wanted to go that was her prerogative.

He refocused instead upon Roanoke and his loth-cat who appeared to have taken a liking. Although it wasn't so surprising, he had always had a strong affinity to animal kind, a bond. Even in his much younger years as he was growing up with his parents. He smiled gently at the animal, as his massive hand stroked the lightest of touches so he didn't squash her.

"Thanks, it was a while ago now." As he was told the name of the loth-cat he smiled again , it provided a good distraction from the chaos around them. "Hello there Lady. You got a pretty name." he said, and as she purred away rubbing against his huge body with her head, he chuckled as Roanoke did.

"It appears so. She is lovely, the name suits her." He decided to use the moment to know his newfound friend more "So how long you been here for? If you don't mind me asking?"

Looking briefly over, it appeared as though the fight had resolved itself before any Masters came to break it up. He was glad, it wasn't what anyone came here for.
