MAIN FACTION BATTLE PLANNING!
Bandomeer:
1. Securing Offworld Corp execs safety
2. Pushback initial GAR assault on commandos snuck on planet by Offworld
3. Hit GAR headquarters
4. Fleet arrives, dogfight thread
5. Something?
1.
This started with a promise. In the earliest days of the Dominion, their plans to expand began, with little regard for the Republic, and far from it's prying eyes.
Director Grenick Tenuse of Offworld Mining met with Prime Minister Almec's right hand, Nalu Fibuna, and came to terms. The Mandalorian Dominion is not only a prime stock holder in Offworld, but has monopolized their exports since the arrangement was made. Right behind the Republic's back, their chief source of ionite was 'undermined' by insider trading, and now Offworld and it's officers are hiding safely behind a wall of beskar soldiers.
Furthermore, since the arrangement was made, the Dominion has freely used Offworld's facilities to infiltrate Bandomeer, and slowly establish a military presence under the premise of negotiating tensions with the Mining Union. Now Bandomeer is occupied, the first all out battleground between the Dominion and the Republic, and Grenick Tenuse's traitorous hands are red.
True to their word, the Dominion has fortified Offworld Mining Co's flagship facility, and has the executives they swore to protect under lock and key until evac is available.
If they escape the conflict, so does the Republics chance of putting them on trial.
2. Upon arrival the Mandalorians dug their heels in to Bandomeer, literally. For months, they were able to operate with relative invisibility, quelling resistance seizing territory, and keeping the Union rebels under tight watch; able to spring up from seemingly nowhere, and disappear soon after. The ground zero for their occupation has now been revealed, the mines.
If the GAR intends to uproot the current occupation, they must flush the tunnels. Offworld snuck the early Dominion troops in through its underground network. If the tide of this fight is to truly turn, it must be brought into the light of day.
