Mirdala Priest is a man of few words, who finds the humor in all situations. Whether under threat of violence or in the company of trusted brothers and family, he is quick to accept the situation for what it is and a smile is never far from his lips. Quiet and observant, his eyes are constantly scanning his environment and his attention is ever in the moment. Mirdala feels that thoughts cloud the mind, keeping one's attention trapped either in memories of the past or hope of the future; to be in the moment is to commit to the ever changing circumstances of the present. This awareness frees his body to respond quickly, without the blockage of mental 'noise' slowing reaction time, or pre-judgements hindering his emotional sincerity.
Committed to personal and familial honor, Mirdala Priest has devoted his life to his military service and the perfection of the art of violence. Recently, however, it was brought to his attention that his wife was with child; this knowledge brought with it a life-altering shift in the operator's priorities. A desire to raise his future child as Mando'ade, to educate the unborn in 'armor and language' have surfaced as primary values and given new direction to the warrior's life. After all, "a warrior is more than his armor."

From the moment of birth, death has never been far; in fact, it could be said of the man, since birth death has been his closest friend. Born with complications, he exited his mother's womb blue to the skin, and without breath. Superstitious by nature, his father believed that a Death Spirit had assassinated his child whilst sleeping in his mother's womb. Filled with sorrow and rage his mother screamed vengeance to the heavens for their great misfortune, and the dishonor to their unborn legacy. Startled, the infant took it's first breath, and his parents stared in awe as the child's skin began to flush with color. Believing the boy must possess great cleverness to outwit the Reaper, the newborn earned the name, "Mirdala."
Childhood was spent training in self-defense and receiving education in strategy, warfare, and the history of the Mandalorian people. Both parents feared that the Death Spirit may return to claim the boy who had somehow tricked it, and no expense was spared in preparing the young man for surviving a hard life, wrought with danger and uncertainty. After adolescence, Mirdala demonstrated his loyalty to his people through exemplary military service and quickly earned the right to wear his "iron-skin." After years of faithful service as an infantryman, the young man was granted training with a sen'tra (jetpack) and promoted to ramikad (commando) status. The ramikadyc (commando mindset) came naturally to Mirdala and he found a certain joy in the discomfort of the severe training that followed. Although ram'ser (marksman) training was a prerequisite, it was in close quarters battle (CQB) that Mirdala excelled.
As an Ori'ramikad (elite special forces) Mirdala Priest was team leader and first 'in the breach' during the rescue of Versae Almec, Prime Minister Almec's daughter. Although the direct action phase of the operation was performed flawlessly by the team, it was after securing the principal that things took a turn for the worse. Spotting a camera the terrorist's were using to record the mistreatment of the Prime Minister's daughter, one of the operators immediate destroyed the device, intending that her shame would never be seen. Opposite to the operator's intentions, once destroyed, the contents were immediately broadcasted to the Holonet. The breach of security was unforgivable. Once the team returned safely home with Versae Almec, Chain of Command was bent on making an example of whomever was responsible for transmitting the video. Loyal to one another, the team swore a vow of silence to protect their honor. As team leader, the responsibility fell on Mirdala and he accepted without protest.
Removed from the Teams and forbidden to participate in direct action operations, Priest was assigned to protective detail assignments. His military career would revolve around executive protection for close to a decade. Eventually the officers involved in his reassignment would shift to other commands and Priest's professional profile would be re-examined. Considered rusty after years away from the Teams, he was granted operational status in deniable operations, either solo or involving one other operator. Ironically, these black ops, sensitive by nature, have become the redemption for the security breach which ruined his career a decade earlier.

Several years of wetwork with CounterIntelligence, developed an obsession with hunting former deathwatch cells still loyal to the sith. In his obsession, Mirdala became entangled with the underworld, working with smugglers (@Bailey Arterius ), bounty hunters, and information brokers (@SpookySkeleton ). Enlisting the aid of the Beast of the Outer Rim (@Dark child ) , eventually the hunt led to Imperial Warlord Szebat (@Gian Greydragon ) and a battle in Coronet City, Corellia, soon followed.

After combat with the Imperial Warlord, unknown to Mirdala, a contract had been put out on him. An organization known simply as the Conclave, fulfilled the contract, incapacitating the Mandalorian Legionairre and delivering him over to the Empire. For five years Mirdala has endured imprisonment on Ziost, and as a deniable operator, fully expects to remain so. Waging a personal war against the Empire, several escape attempts were made, all resulting poorly. During his final attempt, luck would bless Mirdala as Countess of the Protectors and former Mand'alor, Talia (@Sreeya ) and fellow Protector and weapons master Dak Veren (@Phoenix ) mounted a search and rescue operation, liberating the Legionairre from Ziost.

Upon arriving home, war was awaiting his return. New allies (@Evelyn Yara ), and new enemies (@Prudence @Malon ) filled the spaces in a life where he no longer knew his place. Swearing the oath of Protector, Mirdala has forsworn all in the loyal kingsguard of his Mand'alor, and House cousin, Ral Vizsla (@Kori Buor ).

Can I see approval here from @Balla Vahla for Intersectional story? Also, for what it's worth my character Tannen was her teacher, and likely the ranking officer responsible for your...reassignment upon return.

Also... sorry to do this, but new tech rules require ammo and capacity be listed on your character sheet, so it may behoove you to link it to something.

I look forward to writing with you Nalu!
Also, please let me know if you need me to edit anything else. The blaster pistol is modeled off the DC-15s sidearm that the Clones were issued later in history. If rechargeable cells are frowned upon in this timeline I can switch out to a sidearm listed in the technology section.

That recharge might be challenged in combat, unless it works like the Nova. Even then....eh..... I ere toward caution considering how easily a contested action in PvP can ruin your day.

I understand, thank you for the advice. I have replaced the pistol with the CMBP-12 Blaster Pistol and posted link. No room for error in PvP!
