Lilly Lynn is a fledgling Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order. She is daughter to a humble family that has resided on Naboo for generations. Unlike her family though, she longed for more and to explore the galaxy. She found the Jedi Order via her now passed mentor’s encouragement and embraced their ideals and ideologies. Lilly is a soft-spoken woman who places emphasis on understanding history and life around her as well as understanding and honing her own physical body.

▵Biography

Lilly was born Lilliane Lorelei Lynn to her mother Madeline Lynn and a father she never knew. She lived the entirety of her childhood in a small Nabooian town with her mother, half-sister, and step-father. Her parents led unsubstantial jobs, but made just enough money to support the household. They were happy, but Lilly struggled to find meaning in that happiness.

Thus, she tried to find meaning elsewhere. She found joy from understanding galactic history at large. Though from a humble household, the Nabooian government afforded quality education for its citizens. It was from this education where she came to find these passions. She learned of the origin of the Galactic Empire whom galactic society wanted to shun and forget and she learned of Naboo’s part in building it. She began finding herself somewhat of a historian and yearned to learn more.

Then, on one of her many trips to the library, she met someone that would change her life forever. Enwrapped in one of her history books, an elderly man approached her. He was curious about what she was reading. Though finding it odd that someone random approached her, there was something she could feel about him. This feeling led her to oblige him. His knowledge on history seemed endless when she shared with him. This moment turned into weekly library meetups where this man would share with her and teach her.

Peter Cath was his name, and soon his lessons expanded further than history. He was a practitioner in martial arts and began teaching her Teräs Käsi. His philosophy rested not on the glory of combat, but in understanding the body. Understanding its capabilities. Understanding its place in the galaxy. “If you want to explore the galaxy, you need to understand yourself, your body, your mental state… and you also need to be able to protect yourself,” he’d tell her. He would teach her to meditate and how to calm her mind. Over the years, she became stronger mentally and physically, more confident, and more well learned.

Unfortunately this time did come to an end, but led to her next chapter. Peter was dying. He had lived a full life and it was coming to an end. Visiting him in his home, he unveiled much to her. He was a retired veteran of the Jedi Order and chose to leave the order to live his last chapter in the peaceful environment of Naboo, his childhood home. He had been training Lilly in skills that he had learned with the Jedi. He had been teaching her to feel the Force and understand it the entire time. “You want to explore the galaxy…” he said, lying on his deathbed, “The Jedi can be your guide to learning everything you want to do, your guide to finding your meaning. But you must make your own decision.”

As she nodded and sobbed, she promised him that she would find them. Smiling, he pointed her to a box on the farside of the room. Opening it, she found some of his belongings. The title to his ship, coordinates to the Jedi Order, books from the Order, enough credits for the journey, and a datapad which also contained the description of a mon calamari male. “These are now yours… find Kash on Ajan Kloss, he will train you.” He smiled at her and then his body faded away, becoming one with the Force.

She made that journey to the Jedi homeworld and went to work. Kash Grimdo, Jedi Knight, former padawan of her old mentor continued her training. Her understanding of life and the galaxy grew exponentially and she found herself finding the meaning she was missing. Her missions with Kash to help those around the galaxy broadened her cultural understanding and built her empathy for those she did not understand. Her martial and body understandings were strengthened as well. Kash taught her how to translate her meditation and Teräs Käsi skills to the lightsaber. Her body hardened, her mind opened and yearning, and her connection to the Forced strengthened… she was ready for her trials to Jedi Knight.

Now a fledgling Knight, Lilly looks to the future and how she can positively impact herself, the Order, and the galaxy at large…




▵Personality

Lilly is a soft-spoken woman whose presence is noticeable by her proud and confident posture built by Teräs Käsi instruction. She is kind and empathetic to those around her and often slow to anger. She has a strong desire to learn and understand the mysteries of the galaxy and the Force. She is booksmart and is better at drawing upon her knowledge and experience to solve problems than she is at winging it and improvising a situation. She takes great pride in understanding her body, understanding the world around her, and exploring her connection to the Force.



▵Skills, Abilities, Interests

Teräs Käsi - The first martial art that Lilly trained in. She is solidly adept at a form of it that involves being in tune with her body and using it for defense. She was trained in it to understand the techniques used against Jedi and to learn her own capabilities.

Lightsaber Combat - The traditional martial style of the Jedi. Lilly adapted many of her Teräs Käsi techniques to learning a lightsaber. Her style revolves around being in control of herself and being aware of what she is capable of. She wields a dual-bladed green saber and is practiced in forms I, III, and V, focusing on a mostly defensive system.

Galactic and Jedi History - Lilly greatly enjoyed studying the history of the galaxy. Her specific interests revolve around the Jedi and major galactic events. She has an interest in learning about the Sith as well from an academic standpoint to help her understand where the Jedi went wrong in the fall of the Old Republic.

Meditation - Lilly learned how to meditate and calm her mind and body long before Peter trained her in martial arts. Now as a Jedi, she has a specific interest in how to best use and understand the Force to help a Jedi’s wellbeing and performance.



▵Relationships

Mother - Lilly had a good relationship with her mother, but animosity exists over her decision to leave their family to join the Jedi Order. Lilly has also held a small grudge over her mother not sharing details about who her biological father is.
Father - Lilly knows absolutely nothing about her biological father due to the choice of her mother to not share.
Stepfather - Lilly maintains a good relationship with her stepfather and has known him since the age of 3. He, like her mother, did not like the decision for her to leave Naboo, but has gotten over it..
Half-Sister - Her half sister, Lyla, is the only one in the family that supports her decision to leave Naboo. She maintains regular contact with Lilly and informs Lilly of the going ons in the family.
Peter Cath - Lilly’s first mentor. He was kind and opened her up to the ideas of learning more of the galaxy. Though his training never explicitly mentioned the Force, he prepared her to take official Jedi training. He passed away when Lilly was 19.
Kash Grimdo - Kash was the final apprentice of Peter and was Lilly’s master in the Order. Kash was a bit more aggressive than Peter and more hardened on lightsaber combat. His teaching style contrasted with the more educational style of Peter, but Lilly came out appreciating the way it helped her grow. She still maintains a favorable relationship with her master after becoming a knight.

The Jedi Order - Lilly has favorable views of the Jedi Order. She greatly approves of the differences in Rey’s order versus the order of old.
