History:
Born and raised on Naboo, Lance Dyce was an average child. Not really excelling at any one thing he got by in society without much fuss. His parents were clerical assistants in the palace and they took great care of Lance. When he was 6 his parents decided it was time to go on holiday to Aldaraan. Unfortunately they were sent off-course when they came accross a freak asteroid storm and they crash landed on the nearby planet of Talasea. His parents died in the crash leaving him to fend for himself on the harsh planet. Though he could not believe that his parents were dead, so he pretended that they weren't.
During the next 16 years he learned to hunt and survive on the strange planet he now called home. All memories of who he was and where he came from were all but forgotten. The only thing to help him remeber were the ship logs from their cruiser. As the years went by he became more and more detatched. With no human contact he began to develop a language of his own. By the age of 12 his mind had 'gone feral'. He could no longer distinguish between reality and the thoughts in his head. Constantly talking and arguing with himself two personalities soon began to emerge.
Lance: This side of him was more than content to stay where he was, peaceful in the fact that he could survive and be alone (aside from that conniving, backstabbing Dyce). He liked to collect crystals, play with the banthas and climb the trees. Nothing seemed to bother him accept the wreckage of the ship.
Dyce: Evil, that's all Lance would say about him. Dyce liked to hunt, and if it wasn't for him both he and Lance would have died a long time ago. Dyce perfected his hunting skills at night while Lance was asleep. He tried to find ways of using the crystals that Lance collected to make weapons, but it was the wreckage that held the answer to the crystals. One of the rooms of the ship that didn't get too mangled held a secret compartment that Dyce discovered held an assortment of similar crystals and metalic parts and lenses. Not knowing exactly what they were for and finding no record of them on the manifest, Dyce decided it was time to leave even against the advice of Lance.
While Lance slept, Dyce took his time to learn how to use and fix the communications array of the wrecked ship. It amazed Dyce that such a violent crash that caused the death of his parents (which he blamed on Lance) would leave the ship in relativly good shape. Not long after their 22nd birthday Dyce finally received a signal from a passing freight hauler on it's way to Kuat from Taanas. They sent down a ship to pick them up and were utterly confused that they could only find one of them. The captain of the freighter said that they should search for Lance but Dyce said that he would turn up sooner or later. Dyce gathered his and Lance's stuff (crystals and parts included) and left Talasea for good. It wasn't long before Lance emerged, during a game of pazaak that Dyce was cheating at. The captain grew concerned about this and took 'them' under his wing. Trying to find a way for Lance or Dyce to control the switch was near impossible, so the captain gave Lance a tattoo on his left shoulder. Using a special ink that chemically reacted to the change in his thought patterns the tattoo would change shape slightly depending on which personality was in control (don't ask how, not even the Captain knew how the stuff worked). He also gave them seperate clothes to wear, Lance in green and Dyce in red to reflect the change in eye colour.
Once they docked at Kuat, Dyce slipped away and dissappeared. During the next three years Lance and Dyce continued to fight for dominance. Both began to research a way to get rid of the other, Lance finding out about Jedi mind powers and Dyce finding out about the abundant power of the Sith. It was around the same time that Dyce discovered what the parts, lenses and crystals were for and Lance soon found out also. Lightsabers, the weapon of choice of both orders.
Three years later, at the age of 25, he lives on Coruscant doing who-knows-what.
