Kyras Ero

Jedi Rank Nar Shaddaa Force Sensetive
Human (Deformed Clone) Male 19 5'11 140lbs
White Grey Red

Character

  • As a younger child Kyras struggled to be overly social with his peers, this was due to the insular nature of the majority of his upbringing. Not to say that he didn't make friends, he was just too shy to do the initial interaction, preferring to squirrel himself away with a holovid and enjoy his own company. This made the few friends he did have very precious to his young mind, this is a trait that continued into his later life, meaning that he is loyal to his friends like they were his family.

Having to learn through his family and through the holovids that they could scrounge Kyras is more than willing to learn, though his learning style is very hands on. Bring so hands on made combat and technology the subjects that he excelled at.

However Kyras does have a tendency to blame himself rather deeply for his mistakes, be they minor or major. He also doesn't take criticism well, feeling that it personal. His appreciation of his own company can make him seem unapproachable to his peers

    *Survival rations

Hey @Alecai_White!

I have had a chance to look over everything. Overall, the profile looks really good. I have just a few brief comments.
  • Gear: Padawan robes should technically be Initiate robes since Padawan's have not been around for about 5 years after the destruction of Tython. You will need to list the properties of the durasteel braces and Mandalorian Greaves if you plan on participating in PVP. For example, the durasteel braces could take 1 hit from a vibrosword.
  • Force Powers: Nothing out of line here. I just want to make sure you know you don't have to list out specific "powers." You are free to characterize your use of the Force in other manners. That said, I think what you have listed is in line with having trained for significant period with the Jedi.
  • Bio: Here is where we run into trouble. I am tagging @Kori Buor, @Mirdala Priest, and @Prudence to look at the Mandalorian backstory. There are two big things that stick out to me. One, this reads more about a backstory for his mother than a backstory for your character. Two, there is very little about his time with the Jedi. We don't know much about what happened after he joined the Jedi or the person that he is now. There are some significant events that have happened to the Jedi in the last 8 years. Was he a member of the Order or the Army? If he was a member of the Army why did he join? If he was a member of the Order, how did he survive the destruction of Tython? The biggest issue will be covered below.
  • Cloning: We have weirdly had this issue crop up several times lately. We are 1000 years before the Clone Wars. Cloning is in its infancy and it essentially next to impossible. The Kaminoans are just starting to really explore cloning and they are bad at it. You would need extraordinary resources, connections, and time, to come close to achieving a viable clone. There would be issues with Force sensitivity as well. That will have to changed.
Tag me or any of the Jedi leadership team when the changes are made and we will look it over again! Feel free to PM us with any questions or concerns!

Not sure if you have this reason yet, but why was his clan wiped out and why did they leave for Nar Shaddaa when there are plenty of other places in Mandalorian space they could have gone to? Just seems odd to me unless they had a really good reason for leaving the territories where they would be accepted for someplace as seedy as Nar Shaddaa.

I'd echo that, and that a Mandalorian on the run wouldn't have access to cloning tech.

Thank you for the comments @Valen Pelora @Kori Buor @Prudence.

I will correct to the initiate robes and have a look at the properties of durasteel so I can mark them down for the Pvp elements. I will also add in more about his time within the Jedi.

To clarify a bit with the whole clan thing. I do agree I may have spent a tad too much on his mother. However with his clan, I wanted to leave that rather open ended, one for character progression purposes, so that if an indie character wanted to start some sort of intrigue plot line with him they could. Perhaps I went to pathefinder with this one as there are no GMs controlling the overworld here. The other reason I left it open is that, whilst I want him to have that Mando past, it doesn't define him, he was brought up in a clan so distant (physically and emotionally because they feel failed by the dominion), from mandalorian space and culture that, again with character progression he can learn more about the culture that his family hail from.

With the cloning, that I can change, it was just a useful caveat for his unusual styling, whilst keeping him human(ish). Is there is any other way I could achieve the same sort of events within the current timeline?

I don't know of any other way to achieve the desired atheistic effect. Genetic manipulation is on the same level as cloning. The best case scenario may be to look for a race close to what you are shooting for.
