Kalii “Iceheart” Wren is a strong woman, forged by years of military training from the time she was a child. While not the most beautiful woman, it cannot be denied that there is a certain attractiveness to her features, a slim face and fairly short hair that frame a set of brown eyes that rarely let emotion touch them. She has a medium to slim and extremely athletic build, muscles built from years of military training and swordsmanship. Scars can be found on various parts of her body, mementos of injuries taken in battle and in training.

Personality
[fancybox2]Kalii “Iceheart” Wren did not come by the nickname of “Iceheart” by accident. Initially given to her after emotionlessly giving the order to fall back from an ambush on Phindar after her siblings were captured by the Sith, the name stuck. Even during her time with the Jedi she was given the name again, for her lack of compassion and her generally cold demeanor. Her time training as a soldier forged her into an individual with an iron will, unyielding and unforgiving. She holds a high disdain for laziness, whining, and lack of personal discipline.
Being highly introverted, Kalii is uncomfortable with most social situations other than giving orders or training. Due to this she can come off as stuck up, cold, and uncaring, which is only partially true. Despite her cold exterior, and interior, there are a handful of people who have managed to break through to the slightly less frozen heart within. When in the company of those she trusts and respects, she has been known to warm ever slightly, and even crack a smile or two.

Biography
[fancybox2]Kalii Wren was born on Mandalore with her twin sister Mayv. Growing up on her parents farm with Mayv and later her little brother Ryu, Kalii had a relatively happy, if strict and orderly childhood. Her parents were both retired military, and they raised their children to be disciplined and obedient, which Kalii took to much better than her rebellious sister Mayv. Once they were old enough, around the age of six, their parents started training them in the ways of a warrior, as is traditional on Mandalore. It didn't take long for her parents to notice that Kalii and her siblings were different. They had faster reaction times, and almost seemed to have a precognitive sense of what the others were doing. This was especially noticeable between Kalii and Mayv. Bringing his observations to some of his friends that remained in the military, Kalii’s father was offered spots for his children in a special military academy, an academy designed to mold talented children into elite soldiers of a higher caliber than the norm. Saddened at the thought of losing his children, but steadfast in his duty to Mandalore, Kalii’s father accepted the offer.
Once they were old enough to attend, at the age of eight, Kalii and Mayv were shipped off to the academy, their brother Ryu following the year after. The first years of the academy was more academic than martial, taking advantage of the children’s young, moldable minds to cram as much information into them as possible. Following this was ever increasing physical and mental training, changing the children from the innocent youngsters they had been into the soldiers that they eventually would become. During this time, Kalii flourished, enjoying the mental and physical challenges, and could usually be found at the top of her class. Noticing this, those in charge of the academy decided that she had leadership potential, and began to guide her in that direction. As the years went on, the academy began to put the class through tougher challenges, including going offworld to places like Tattooine, Hoth, and Phindar for varied climate training. it was on Phindar that everything changed.
Phindar was a jungle planet, near the edge of republic space, perfectly suited for training the academy students the ins and outs of jungle guerilla warfare. The first weeks were uneventful, but that didn't last. While out on a patrol, Kalii’s unit was ambushed by unknown assailants. The fighting was fierce and half of her squad fell within the first few minutes, with her siblings Mayv and Ryu captured by their foes. Kalii was about to give chase with the remainder of her squad when a hooded and cloaked enemy appeared, crimson saber in hand. Knowing that to continue would result in slaughter, and with the burden of command heavy upon her shoulders, Kalii gave the order to fall back, abandoning her siblings to their fates. After this, the academy no longer sent the class out to the border of Republic space. Kalii continued her time at the academy, though her heart was no longer in it. Through her force bond with her sister, she was plagued with terrible nightmares, some of which were so bad that they even echoed into her daydreams.
At eighteen Kalii graduated the academy and was offered a promising commision in the Mandalorian Defense Force. To everybody's surprise she turned down the offer, knowing that she would not be able to find out what happened to her brother and sister if she remained on Mandalore. So instead she left Mandalore, deciding to seek out the Jedi, who were the ancient enemies of the Sith. After much research she was fairly certain that the Sith were responsible for her siblings capture, and was determined to stop them. Though she was not aware of it, the force guided her to find a Jedi quickly, one Cassus Lammerei. The meeting was initially not peaceful, Kalii being unaware that Cassus was a Jedi when he approached her, but things quickly got straightened out. Travelling with Cassus to the Jedi temple on Tython, Kalii began her training.
It didn’t take Kalii long to learn the basics, being a quick learner and used to training. As Cassus’ padawan, Kalii pushed him to train her hard, wanting to become the best at everything she could. While she initially struggled with the use of the force, Kalii was already an excellent swordsman from years of training at the academy, and took to use of a lightsaber with ease. After spending several years under Cassus tutelage, during which they both learned a lot, Kalii was ready to be knighted. After the ceremony she immediately set about to her knightly duties, hoping to one day find her brother and sister.
