BIOGRAPHY:
Joha's formative years within Clan Kryze encapsulate a narrative of unyielding fortitude and unwavering dedication to martial excellence. From the tender age of six, he embarked on a resolute path as a warrior, immersing himself in the rigors of combat training and embodying the valorous principles synonymous with his Mandalorian lineage. At seven Joha acquired his vibroknife from his father who died fighting a Jedi knight. Joha still uses this blade to this day, in honor of his father who passed away. Since his father’s death Joha has stayed away from the Jedi, but one thing Joha knows is that war is war, and it was the Jedi’s duty to kill him. Joha has high standards for his friends, which is why he doesn't have many. Joha wants his friends to be able to keep up to him. If it was any oridinary person he would fight with they would ruin the mission entirely. Presently, Joha’s main goal is to restore the Mandalorians to their former glory, and create an empire that would last for eons.

Okay, @SpaceChimp , no offense, but here are a few tips on character profile writing:

1. You need images people can see. Both of your links are broken.
2. I see several grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors in your post. You should try a spellchecker like Grammarly.
3. More detail is badly needed. Your current bio, personality, and skills sections lack important info. Is Joha a Mandalorian by birth or a foundling? What was growing up like for him? Did he or does he have any friends or love interests? Any personal items he holds dear, such as a bracelet, children's toy, or some other trinket? Does he have any vices (drugs, alcohol, women, money?) Any physical weaknesses?
4. 'calm' and 'blinded by emotion' are contradictory. More detail is needed.
5. Link your equipment. You also lack details on his armor. The most important tech submissions can be found here. If he uses custom armor (like most Mandos), you need to submit it to the tech boards. An example of a piece of Mandalorian armor can be found here.

I copied the code for the armor template and entered the code into the code section, it appeared nothing changed. Is there anything you think i'm missing?

@SpaceChimp Hi there, welcome to the community! It seems like you have a really strong foundation for a character here! @Interdictor did a great job at giving you some guidance on formatting and character creation! I was reading through and noticed that you have Joha’s armor as completely made of beskar.

Beskar is a lightsaber proof material, on the site it is resistant to lightsabers. But there is a site rule that says armor cannot be completely comprised of lightsaber resistant materials. In fact it’s only allowed on two smaller areas, like bracers, or one larger area, like a helmet or shoulder pad.

The other materials can be durasteel or duraplast. I believe that in site canon beskar is extremely rare as Mandalore still hasn’t been recolonized and the forges reopened. I’d get in touch with @Darasuum he’s the resident mando guy.

The Great Forge in canon (thanks to the Mandalorian TV series and TCW) along with the Living Waters, and Sundari have all been very recently reignited, resettled and rebuilding. In character time moves fluid with shared time but only a few years have passed at most since then. But Out of Character, @Hauron Solus has made progress only in the past few months so it’s a pretty new thing, again.

Hauron’s profile has a lot of threads linked in the tracker for the specific events and stories on that but there are also the newsletters in announcements that have recently started up again and have a ton of info on what has happened “recently”. I recommend giving them a read sometime just to see progression of events and how the stories has shaped on the site.

Ok, I change the armor to Durasteel, but I left his forearm guards beskar so he could deflect a lightsaber using his forearm. This doesn't make him invincible, I just want him to use his forearms as shields.

I am very interested in these threads, and I hope to read them soon. Since I am new here I am having a bit of trouble navigating through all the forums and threads, so I really have no idea where to find these. Hopefully you can help me find them.
