— Backstory —
The daughter of one of the deadliest assassins in the Galaxy, Jean was trained by her mother from an early age. After her father was killed by a bomb aimed for her, Jean's mother dedicated her life to keeping Jean safe and imparting to her all the skills she would need to defend herself. The result was Jean becoming a deadly assassin and warrior in her own right by the time she was in her late teens.
When her mother died, Jean decided to discard the nomadic lifestyle she had known all her life and tried to settle down and live a normal life. Aged 19, she created a new life for herself on Corellia, earning an honest living, falling in love with a nice man, and finally living the life she had always wanted. But even that dream was taken away from her when her past caught up with her. When the man she loved asked her to marry him, she poured out all her life secrets to him, letting him know who she was and where she came from. Unable to reconcile with her bloody past, he left her, leaving Jean with a broken heart and months of wandering that made her realize that she couldn't have a normal life by running away from who she was. Only by accepting who she was would she be able to find any semblance of peace.
So she went back to her old life, reactivating her mother's contacts and selling her skills to the highest bidder. She started to realize that the thrill of the hunt helped numb her pain, had started to become addictive. Ultimately she was hired by a group of Mandalorians who were out to reclaim their home. When the group ultimately took control of the planet and created the Mandalorian Dominion, Jean was offered a home among them. They not only offered her a home, but their protection offered her the freedom to decide her own fate. At the same time some small part of her still yearned for a simple life, and acting on those desires she accepted the offer.
Now she lives among the Mandalorians, not selling her skills but doing as she wishes while she seeks something that would make her feel normal.
— Skillset —
Jean started being trained in combat before she even realized what she was being taught. As an assassin and spy she has accumulating a highly varied skill set, often learning new tricks on a job to job basis. She was trained to use weapons such as hold-out blasters and vibroblades, along with more exotic ones such as hand claws, shock whips, and zenji needles. She is also a skilled pilot, capable of flying ships ranging in size from those as small as starfighters to bulky freighters. She has also learnt enough about starship repair and maintenance to be able to fix a ship if the need so arises and if not that then she can at the very least identify where the problem lies. She also skilled with first aid and can patch herself up decently enough if injured in the field.
physical abilities — Jean is in peak physical condition, with her speed, balance, and dexterity being one of her greatest assets. She is very nimble on her feet, possesses very quick reflexes, and her martial arts training has made her exceedingly flexible, graceful in her movements and capable of pulling of feats of acrobatics that can only come with years of practice. She is a practitioner of the movement disciple known as parkour. One of the most important aspects of her training was close-quarters combat, training in a number of different martial arts, including the Echani art, to turn herself into an extremely deadly hand-to-hand combatant.
espionage — She was given specialized training to become a highly effective espionage operative. She is a skilled slicer, capable of breaking into secure systems with relative ease and moving into and out of systems while leaving barely a trace. She is also skilled with disguises, a skill that proves to be of particular use to her on infiltration missions.
assassination — Alongside espionage, she also received stealth training and is able to move about unnoticed if she wants to. She has used these stealth skills to develop her skills as a master assassin. She is an expert at setting traps and making optimal use of her environment to her own advantage. She is known to use explosives, toxins, rifles and whatever else gets the job done.
