BIOGRAPHY
THEME SONG

The tale of the Iron Hawk, my tale begins long before my birth on the moon of Concordia, instead it begins with a Mandalorian combat engineer called Xiarr Ordo. Xiarr led a typical Mandalorian life up to his seventeenth birthday, when he met a young woman named Varel Cadera and eventually fell in love with her. While falling in love was not an atypical event in Mandalorian life, the Cadera Clan was known for it's rather odd practices, namely when it came to marriage.

Not unlike other ancient Mandalorian Clans, Cadera prided itself on it's long history with it's people; however, the Clan did have a singular practice which was not always accepted by other clans. Cadera was a vassal Clan to House Kryze, a House that was steeped in history...and money. As such, Cadera prided itself on it's status in Mandalorian society and required anyone from another Clan to take the Clan's name before joining in marriage. Something that the young Xiarr did eagerly and willingly. Despite some minor discourses at their wedding the next few precious years of Xiarr and Varel's life were relatively normal.

By the time Xiarr was twenty, his first child had been born, a young girl they named Madlyn. For a few precious years, Varel and Madlyn were the center of Xiarr's world and outside of his duties as a Smith, nothing else mattered to him. As with all things, pleasant times are few and far between and Xiarr had seemingly experienced all of his in a singular lump sum. By the age of twenty-three the Sith had struck once again and the Mandalorian people were called to arms to defend not only themselves but the people of the Republic as well. Xiarr and Varel eagerly took up their arms to defend their homeland and their people.

Despite losses the Mandalorian lines held and Xiarr found purpose and honor in his duty as a weapon's and armor smith and engineer. Despite being a supportive role for the most part, Xiarr frequently found himself on forward operating bases, including on a day that he received an order that changed his prospective on war and his clan. At twenty-five years old, Xiarr was serving on a Kryze warship as they were preparing to reinforce the House Fett against a Sith Brotherhood assault. However, as the Kryze warriors prepared themselves for battle, the Kryze vessel was recalled mere moments before Sith vessels dropped from hyperspace.

Xiarr was pinned to a portcullis window by the crowd of warriors behind him as they all watched in horror as Sith starfighters and transports poured from the Sith fleet towards the world. Xiarr felt disgust for the first time towards his own people for the first time in his life as the world disappeared and the vessel he was on disappeared into hyperspace. That moment birthed the first of several nightmares that would continue to haunt Xiarr for the rest of his existence.

Despite this rather traumatic event and an overwhelming sense of guilt over saying nothing when it occurred, Xiarr continued to serve Clan Cadera and through them House Kryze faithfully. This continued service eventually distinguished him and when the first inklings of the Border Alliance was forming, Xiarr was selected to represent Clan Cadera in the meeting alongside other representatives of House Kryze and it's vassal clans. While this was considered a great honor to his family, Xiarr couldn't help but want to reject the offer from his Count.

He felt that he instead belonged alongside his brothers and sisters fighting against the Sith. However, his wife Varel, a Cadera through and through would hear none of it and chastised Xiarr into agreeing to their Count's request. The week before the meeting Xiarr left his family, he hugged his daughter tightly and gave his wife a farewell kiss before boarding a transport to be taken to the House Kryze compound in Sundari on Mandalore.

Xiarr suffered through the Border Alliance meetings, his mind often drifting back to his wife, his daughter, and his clan. Despite the constant boredom he was forced to endure, Xiarr found his short stint away from the war front to be almost relaxing and peaceful. However, this relaxation was short-lived as news reached Xiarr that his clan was being moved from a supportive role to an active front-line unit. Xiarr felt the same cold chill of horror he had felt on the Kryze vessel as Sith vessels poured down towards the Fett world a year prior and he attempted be pardoned from the meetings to rejoin his clan but the Republic representative wouldn't allow it. Instead, Xiarr was reminded of the honor being involved in this meeting brought to his clan, to stop fretting over his clan, they would do their duty just as he would do his.

The meetings and conferences lasted almost a month, Xiarr felt panic building within him more and more each day that passed. However, it wouldn't be until he reached his clan's homeworld that he would learn the harsh truth of what occurred to his family, his clan, his people. Instead of children being taken care of by their grandparents and a skeleton but lively community, there was nothing but ashes and ruins. At the mouth of the compound that he called home were two figures, his mother and his father.

The pair rushed to their son in a vain attempt to stop him from entering the compound and seeing what laid within. Xiarr pushed past them as he sprinted to his home, praying to Ha'rangir that his sweet daughter at the very least had been spared this atrocity. But he found the truth in his own bedroom, it brought him to his knees, it caused him to retch, and destroyed him as a man. No one had been spared, not even his precious child, the Sith robbed him of everything.

It was there, in that moment, even as his parents rushed in behind Xiarr to cradle their broken child and pull him away from the horrible truth of war he bore full witness to, that I began to come to life. For weeks Xiarr didn't speak, he barely ate or drank, and never left the cold confines of his hospital bed. The only moments that played through his mind weren't his final tender moments with his family before he left; instead it was that moment on the Kryze ship. In his mind he heard the screams of the Fett people as they were ruthlessly butchered by the Sith a fate that his family soon shared. A singular realization came into his mind, I deserve this.

At age twenty seven Xiarr Cadera-Ordo was released from the mental institution but still considered unfit for duty. The last time he was seen in Mandalorian territory was at the gravesite of Varel and Madlyn Cadera. Afterwards, he simply vanished.

In reality, Xiarr didn't vanish. Instead, the broken man found his way to the moon of Concordia and found shelter from the elements in a run down and abadandoned smelting plant. During the long two years inside of a mental institution Xiarr came to a single, simple conclusion. They were responsible for these mindless deaths, they constantly caused meaningless wars, they robbed people of everything only to prove superiority and because of that they were guilty and had to be destroyed. It was then that Xiarr decided to give his campaign, to give me a face and he transformed his armor into a true second skin.

Gray to represent the loss of every person and ideal he had ever clung to, Black to represent the Justice that he would mete out personally to them, and Gold to represent his undying lust for vengeance. It was a mere prototype at the time, but when he had finished and in the moment his hand touched what would become my first face for the first time, was when I was born. Perhaps not as I am now, but as a drive, a flicker of understanding that would burn brightly and give realization to his mind. "Jai'galaar" were the words he uttered in that moment, and so that was the form I took for him.

We trained for two years in our solitude, we prepared ourselves to be unleashed upon them. However, the drums of war beat in the distance and even we could hear the whispers of scavengers when they visited our home, rumors of terrorists bent on retaking thier home, Mandalore and they had taken up the mantle of Kyrt'sad with pride. I knew in that moment we were ready but Xiarr resisted, unwilling to return to his people, unable to conquer his fear.

It was then that I realized a cruel truth, Xiarr was weak, he was broken, and he needed to slumber. I fought against his restraint, he might have been born first but I, the Jai'galaar, was born from his iron will and determination. I represented everything we wore, I bore his suffering, I craved his overwhelming need for justice, and I embraced his lust for vengeance. Our confrontation was a short one, and Xiarr as a being was cast into the same pit I was born from, and forced him to become merely an echo in the back of my mind.

When Xiarr's body left that smelting plant we had called home, it was armed with the weapons of those dead scavengers and I was no longer forced to sit idly by as a passenger anymore. I never did directly join the Kyrt'sad, I did shadow them however, learning from their tactics and adapting them into my own. Soon, I began to hunt their enemies from the shadows, I began to aid them from beyond their fields of vision. They were the Kyrt'sad, I was their Jai'galaar.

I never directly interacted with the Kyrt'sad, despite feeling a sort of kinship with them; at least not until a particular event. I had shadowed a squad of infiltrators, I heard whispers between the Kyrt'sad about one of them in the language of Xiarr's people. I knew that moment it was time to put everything I had learned to the test and to enact the first measure of justice and vengeance upon them.

The squad engaged several of their enemies, the Kyrt'sad laid waste to them and pushed forward. I watched in awe of their effeciency and team work from afar before I decided to enter the compound from a sewage entrance and came free of the tight tunnels in a waste vat. Once freed of it's confines, I found a surprising lack of guards i figured the bulk of the facilities forces were posed to converge on the Kyrt'sad. I stumbled across and listened to a few bustling men shout about "reinforcing their commander's position." I stalked them, figuring the Kryt'sad were hunting one of them as I was.

As the guards I followed exited a set of blast doors and stepped into an open hallway they were immediately gunned down. I moved instinctively down a hallway alongside the doorway the guards had stepped into. I listened to the sounds of battle before a feminine voice called out to the Kyrt'sad and demanded a surrender from them. I traced the voice back to it's source through the thin metal walls and found a door, I drew my Blaster pistol, pressed the open command, and leveled it at the armored horned woman who gripped a blue blazing sword.

She must have heard the door, or seen my weapon as I brought it to bear, perhaps even caught my outline in the corner of her eye but it didn't matter. As she turned her head to check her peripheral I squeezed the trigger. The crimson blaster bolt screamed to life, it impacted with her lower jaw, and vaporized it instantly. Panic and chaos broke out in the ranks of the Kyrt'sad's enemies, those that didn't flee were given swift deaths but not her.

No, her kind had caused the deaths of the Fetts years ago, they had robbed Xiarr of his values, his home, and his family. She, no it had a price to pay, it gazed at me as I emerged from the shadows of that hallway, the blue eyes of my second face bearing down on it with spite and disgust. I felt the grip on my blaster pistol tighten before I leveled once more and fired, the bolt striking the arm that still gripped it's weapon.

"I see you tremble" I stated, a robotic voice filtering through my second face. "It's okay to be afraid." I continued as I stepped from the shadows towards it. "Rejorhaa'ir te ru'ash'amur tion'ad hiibir gar." <Tell the dead who sent you.> I stated coldly before firing what remained of my energy cell into it's torso.

I didn't pause to look at the Kyrt'sad before I retreated back into the shadows, they had accomplished their task and I had felt satisfaction at accomplishing mine. I didn't realize it then but that singular encounter would begin a rumor within their lower ranks. The Jai'galaar would "rescue" Kyrt'sad in their most dire of moments and then simply vanish without saying a word. In reality my relationship and rescues with the Kyrt'sad warriors wasn't because of my feeling of kinship but because their enemies sheltered them within their ranks as commanders and leaders. To me at the time, these were just happy coincidences, but perhaps there was more truth to those rumors then I am willing to admit.

Regardless, I continued my hunts alongside the Kyrt'sad, even when they fought on Mandalore, our home. It was then, for the first time, I heard my true name by a soldier, "The Iron Hawk of Mandalore". His squad had been the one I opted to shadow that day as they fought through the streets of Sundari. I watched from the rooftops as they moved from house to house, clearing them of their enemies, when I heard a familiar snap and hiss, followed by the cries of anguish from the Kyrt'sad.

I entered that building through a window on the third floor, and made my way downwards towards it's killing field. I peeked from around the corner and saw the corpses of Kyrt'sad and their enemies alike surrounding two figures, one of them gripping a yellow burning blade and the other, a broken Kyrt'sad on his knees before him. I listened and watched as the masculine voice of one of them began to list the sole remaining Kyrt'sad the crimes he had committed against his Republic. Eventually he gave the Kyrt'sad the punishment for his crimes, death. I leveled the shotgun blaster I had brought from my position around the corner at the top of the staircase and waited for the precise moment.

As he lifted his blade, I pulled my trigger, I felt the recoil, and I heard his yelp of surprise, followed by his cry of anguish. I immediately moved from around the wall that had served as my cover and leapt over the banister, towards my quarry. He was expiring fast but he couldn't die, not until vengeance and justice had been met. I grabbed one of his legs and dragged his prone form around the corner, leaving a trail of crimson in our wake. We entered into a room, a ruined and blood-soaked kitchen and I dragged him towards the cabinets near a sink.

"Why?" Was all he managed to choke out as I flipped him and sat him up against a set cabinets.

"Because it is just." I replied calmly as I turned my head and glanced at him for a moment.

Blood poured from his fanged mouth, it stained his furred chin. I looked over at his mechanical arm for a moment and realized the experiences he, no this thing must have endured. I then emotionlessly reloaded my shotgun blaster and pressed the muzzle against it's chest.

"Rejorhaa'ir te ru'ash'amur Ni hiibir gar." <Tell the dead I sent you.>

"No, wai-"

It's words were cut short by the slightly muffled retort of my blaster and once the shot rang out there was a brief moment of silence. I gazed down at the massive wound on it's body for a moment. I relished in another soul being avenged. But this moment was cut short by a whisper from behind me.

"Te bes'galaar?" <The Iron Hawk?> It asked weakly.

I turned to see the Kyrt'sad who I had inadvertently saved, he had crawled from where he was kneeling to watch my act of righteous indignation as it was carried out. For the first time I didn't simply walk away. Instead, I slowly approached him, in that moment he was a fallen brother, one of my Kyrt'sad.

"Draar chaabar" <Never fear> I replied, my near robotic voice taking a comforting tone for the first time as I gazed down on him. I placed a hand on his shoulder as he slumped against my knees. "Gaa'tayl cuyir gebi" <Help is near> I muttered as I caught a glimpse of more Kyrt'sad rounding a corner at the sound of blaster fire to aid their comrades.

After those words I simply raised my hands in surrender as the Kyrt'sad's brothers flooded the room with their weapons pointed at me. They demanded for me to get on my knees, I obeyed, I felt their cuffs on my wrists, I didn't resist. As they led me outside to their convoy I heard whispers between the Kyrt'sad wondering if I was truly the "Iron Hawk" rumors had told of.

"Yes"

That was my only reply.

After a deep evaluation, I was deemed to an asset to the newly founded Mandalorian Dominion that rose from the ashes of the old one. The world Xiarr had known quickly faded into a memory as distant as he was to me. Despite this, many of the Mandalorians who knew my closely guarded secret continue to insist on calling me a dead man's name, I no longer protest. Instead, I continue to serve the Mandalorian Dominion as our goals currently align.

Almost a decade later, I still persist. For as long as the dead pile up in the midst of this "holy war", I will continue to hunt them. For I honor the dead, I will bring their terrible vengeance to life, they will know the justice of the grave, and taste the fear of the damned. I am the Iron Hawk of Mandalore and my watch is eternal.

PERSONALITY

ISTJ
LAWFUL NEUTRAL

The Iron Hawk is a being defined by and created from the trauma of war. Initially he was born as a coping mechanism by Xiarr, a driving force to motivate him into seeking out revenge against the Sith who had ripped everything he had ever known from him. This sorrow, outrage, and hatred that Iron Hawk was born from caused his personality to becoming domineering, cold, and cruel as he developed.

The Iron Hawk's primary obsession is the elimination of the Sith who ravaged Xiarr's clan and forced him into existence. That being said, the Iron Hawk targets both Jedi and Sith with the same prejudices in mind. He believes these two ancient factions are two sides of the same coin, their old blood feud causing wars that have cost countless lives over the eons, including Xiarr's family. To him neither represent truth but merely justify their atrocities to placate the masses and allow them to rule as gods among men. This mindset has forged an steely determination to eradicate both the Sith and the Jedi from the face of the galaxy so they can be replaced with something that can contain and control those sensitive to the plague of the Force.

Unlike many beings who view force sensitivity as either a blessing or a curse, the Iron Hawk views it as a disease. He believes that a cure or suppressant can be developed to help those born with this plague cope with their condition and eventually allow them to live out normal lives. In that sense, he doesn't simply hate all force sensitives and understands that none of them chose this for their lives but pities the majority of them who were born as monstrosities of nature.

Iron Hawk's fringe beliefs do not end there however, instead they extend to all faiths. Iron Hawk believes that births of the Jedi and Sith Orders caused all other gods to die out, leaving only the two vying factions. This is something he openly expresses around religious individuals without hesitation, momentarily treating them with disdain and callousness.

Iron Hawk also views honor as a construct created by man to inflate their own egos and limit those deemed "lesser". He believes that you should interact with people on the same level they interact with others, leading him into a lot of conflicts. This mindset allows the Iron Hawk to commit both "honorable deeds" and "horrible atrocities" without hesitation to accomplish his own goals.

Due to Iron Hawk's birth from a bleak and depressed mindset, he as an individual has a rather nihilistic view of the Galaxy around him. He treats everyone he meets with suspicion and not even he is sure if the few relationships he builds are actually meaningful or not. His callous and suspicious nature combined with his willingness to kill at a moments notice has created a near sociopathic streak within him.

While the Iron Hawk has adopted the title of "Iron Hawk of Mandalore" as his name, his loyalties only lay with the Mandalorian Dominion as their goals most closely align with his own. He is perfectly content with breaking treaties and pacts to accomplish his goal in eradicating both the Jedi and Sith. This stems from his belief that his goal is far larger then any kingdom or government, because it effects the ebb and flow of the galaxy as a whole.

Despite this willingness to defy the Dominion and his own distrustful nature, Iron Hawk cannot help but feel some kinship towards many of the Mandalorian warriors. He views many of them as his brothers and sisters even if they are misguided at times and genuinely seems to care about their society as a whole. This is something he believes is an emotional remnant of Xiarr that still exists within him.

As a warrior Iron Hawk is an unrelenting and terrifyingly patient ambush predator. He is known for watching targets for extended periods of time before moving to make his strike on them with brutal efficiency. This combined with his sharp intellect and impressive physique for his age makes Iron Hawk a fearsome warrior that only seems to care about vengeance.

In his own words, Iron Hawk fights to "give the damned the vengeance they cry out for and meet justice out to the monsters that ended them." In a sense, Iron Hawk treats the dead with far more respect then he treats the living, rarely desecrating a corpse even if it was one of his victims. This is one of the founding emotions that spurred Iron Hawk as a being to exist and one that he takes extremely seriously.

Finally, Iron Hawk is a mentally ill and cold blooded killer. The Iron Hawk on the surface seems like a slightly withdrawn but normal individual but in reality this is the furthest from the truth. His cold intellect has allowed him to adapt to various things such as being called by Xiarr's name but deep down he regrets nothing he has done, instead he relishes each kill. Iron Hawk was born from a man suffering from various illnesses, including Insomnia, Night terrors, disassociative personality disorder, and paranoia, all stemming from survivors guilt. Despite his claims at being a separate person from Xiarr and his ability to mask the symptoms rather well, Iron Hawk clearly suffers from the deeply rooted issues.

Dual End Grappling Hook
- Iron Hawk's source of mobility during missions or hunts.

Thermal Detonators
- Iron Hawk typically carries two of these detonators on a mission or hunt. Iron Hawk's detonators both have a three second time delay fuse activated once his finger leaves the compression trigger.

Flash Bang Grenades
- Iron Hawk typically carries two of these grenades on every mission or hunt. Iron Hawk's Flash Bang Grenades have a two second fuse once the pin his pulled and compression handle is released.

EMP Grenades
- Iron Hawk typically carries one of these grenades if it could prove useful on a mission or hunt.

MZ-99 "Smackdown" Grenades

- Iron Hawk typically carries one of these grenade particularly on missions but he might carry one on hunts if they could prove useful.

Portable USB Hard Drive
- Iron Hawk typically carries this on infiltration missions, while not synced to his armor the device is capable of storing up to 20 gigabytes of memory on it's unit. The contents of the memory can then be manually uploaded to any system with the correct port.

MK3 "Razor" Light Drone
- Iron Hawk's drone is outfitted with a P-30 Anti-personnel rifle. This drone has a video and auditory uplink that is connected wirelessly directly to his helmet's cpu and is controlled via a wrist pad on his armor. Iron Hawk typically utilizes this drone to assassinate targets on hunts that he has no way of getting close to. Iron Hawk typically paints this drone in camouflage to suit it's surroundings and objective ranging from planetary security drone to woodland camouflage.

MandalArms TRA
- Iron Hawk's Tactical Reconnaissance armor possesses the standard CCT MKII Heads Up Display with no notable modifications.
- Iron Hawk's Advanced Tactical Reconnaissance Computer has no significant upgrades or notable modifications.
- Iron Hawk's forearm pad (left forearm) is wirelessly synced with his MK3 "Razor" Light Drone. By single tapping the pad he can wirelessly activate the drone for manual control, by double tapping the pad he can activate the drone's autopilot which will bring the drone to his location, by pressing a button on the lower left-hand corner of the pad he can fire the drone's P-30 Anti-personnel rifle. To control the drone during flight Iron Hawk simply flicks his finger in any direction for the drone to move or strafe in that direction. For more finely tuned control Iron Hawk can drag his finger on the pad to control the nose of the drone and the aim of it's rifle. For an added layer of protection, triple tapping the screen will initiate an electrical self destruct sequence that destroys all internal components, hard drives, sensors, and onboard memory which leaves the drone as little more then a husk and hunk of scrap.
- Iron Hawk's armor was given a Scatterweave coating in it's liquid form and then allowed to dry on the armor. This helps throw off sensors while on missions and hunts.
- Iron Hawk's TRA is extensively visually modified to allow him to represent a Shriek-Hawk which he feels accurately describes his personality and nature.
- Iron Hawk's TRA is painted with a Grey and Black color pallet to signify his loss of loved once and his lust for justice. Many of the accents on the armor are painted gold with the LED lights on the facing of his helmet that form his broken "t-visor" being blue. This represents his lust for vengeance and reliability as a warrior.

Jai'galaar "Hawk" Interceptor
- Iron Hawk's Interceptor is his main form of interstellar travel. Iron Hawk's Interceptor is painted to match his armor's color scheme. Iron Hawk stores all his weaponry and belongings on his Interceptor. Iron Hawk's Interceptor was given a Scatterweave overlay, which was applied in liquid form and allowed to dry. This is to aid Iron Hawk against sensors when infiltrating planetary systems for missions or hunts.

Just to clarify, Iron Hawk = Xiarr is NOT public knowledge. Discovery of that would have to be role played out. Characters that would know would likely be Ral and by extension Talia. No other characters can know this fact about him without explicitly being told. Figured that might need clarifying.
