Felix had been enjoying the last few days, as he finally had some peace and quiet. No one coming after him, sales went smoothly or...not at all. Even if he didn't sell the majority of what he intended to, he never ignored a chance to relax. At the moment, Felix was on his way to Naboo. He didn't expect to sell any of his parts there, but he did hope to get some information on where Nia could be. So far, the trail was pretty dry, like she disappeared without a trace. It was strange, but Felix had to get to the bottom of this. He was afraid that she could have been kidnapped or something, especially after her fight with those robbers. Maybe they wanted revenge. Whatever happened, Felix wasn't going to let it go so easily. He sat back in the piloting chair, closed his eyes, and found himself up against some angered customers. They were so furious, in fact, that they had company and blasters pointed at Felix's face. There were about twenty of them, and they were nothing to Felix. He could definitely take them on and walk away without a scratch.

Before the fight even started, Felix snapped back to reality when an alarm went off on his ship. What happened? He frantically looked around, confused at what was happening. He fell asleep? How long was he sleeping? He looked to the display on his right, which showed that the ship had taken damage on the left side. Serious damage. Oh, no. He took control of the ship, moving it to the side, his map showing an unfamiliar ship behind him. Was he being shot at? Someone actually came after him all the way out here? Sure enough, after he began to maneuver his ship, Felix found that whoever was behind him had indeed been shooting at him. They fired again, though luckily, Felix had been able to avoid it this time. Damn, he must've made someone really angry if they're willing to follow him out here. Making them pay a high price for average parts isn't that big a deal! Felix picked up the speed on his ship, but it wasn't enough to get away from this guy. They fired again, hitting the bottom of Felix's ship. He was closing in on the planet of Tatooine and...he couldn't move. His ship was heading straight for the planet and he couldn't turn around. Felix silently cursed his luck as his ship shook violently as it practically fell through Tatooine's atmosphere. Before Felix knew it, everything suddenly went dark.

When Felix woke up, he could only see two things: the surface of a planet outside his window...and smoke. Felix freed himself from the straps of the chair, coughing and practically falling onto the floor of the ship. He lifted himself up and staggered to the back of the ship, slamming his hand on the control panel to open the door. He fell out of the ship and onto the hot sand of Tatooine. It took him a while before he could actually stand up and examine the damage his ship took. As he looked it over, he was devastated. His ship was utterly totaled. The ship that he had built himself, the ship he was incredibly proud of. Heck, he'd even call it his baby! It was all he had, but now, it was utterly destroyed. How was he going to fix this with only a thousand credits to his name?!

However, luck was on Felix's side in a different way today. Not only was he still alive after this horrific crash-landing, but he happened to be just outside of a large city. The heat of this planet was a bit harsh, but he'd have to get used to it. After all, he was basically stranded here until he could fix his ship. He limped toward the city, gripping his side as every movement caused extreme pain. The city was about as busy as one would expect from any populated area during midday. The people here did not look like the friendliest bunch, and Felix predicted that it would be hard for him to find any help here, but he had to at least try. He staggered around the streets, finding a particularly awful smell coming from one of the shops.

"Come on over here for some dung worms!" The salesman shouted.

Felix's facial expression changed to that of disgust. He found himself in a city, which was fortunate, but this had to be the smelliest city he'd ever been in.

"Please let me get some help so I can get off this planet as quickly as possible..." Felix muttered to himself.

The Jack of Diamonds came out of hyperspace into the Tatooine system. A system home to a backwater desert planet that would be unknown to most of the galaxy if it weren't for the fact that it was one of the biggest crime holes in the galaxy. Thomas observed the space in front of him and was surprised to find two other starships in the area. One was a freighter like his, while the other was a triangular shaped ship of the likes that he had never seen before. Before he could give a second thought about them, the freighter opened fire on the strange vessel. The pilot of the vessel must of been caught off guard because the ship took the assault and began its crash course with the planet below.

Thomas flipped a switch and the comm system came alive, broadcasting on all channels so that the pilot of the freighter could hear him. "This is Thomas Do'Kien of the Jack of Diamonds and I'm counting to three, by the time I reach one you'll be gone. Whether it be by fight or flight." He heard the other pilot begin to respond but he flipped off the comm and put his finger on the trigger for the forward laser cannons, counting to three. By the time he reached three the pilot still hadn't made the jump to hyperspace and he opened fire. The assault made direct contact with the freighter's engines, disabling them. He left the freighter to float, figuring that since the pilot hadn't attacked him, he'll let him live.

He turned his sights to the planet below and directed the Jack in the direction that the strange ship had fallen. As he approached the surface he saw the smoke rising up from the crash site and that there was a city only a short distance away. The city had a spaceport. Opening up his comm channels again, he contacted the spaceport for permission to land. Permission was granted and he set his ship down into the docking bay. The landing struts extended and the ship gently landed, followed by the opening of the landing ramp on which Thomas walked down. Behind him came Doc. "Thomas, may I ask where we're going? This isn't Mos Eisley, your bounty is in another city." Thomas didn't turn to talk, and kept on walking. "The bounty can wait for a bit, I want to take a look at that ship that was shot down."

The stench of the dung worms burned their way into Felix's nose, and it was all he could smell for the next few moments. How he dreaded it. He'd prefer to be fatally injured over having to smell that, and it made him wonder how the inhabitants of this city could stand it all day. Did people...actually eat that? Gross. Felix put a hand over his nose in an attempt to keep himself from breathing in those toxic fumes as his gaze drifted toward the ground and he limped through the streets, determined to get away from the guy selling dung worms as quickly as possible. This much moving around can't be good for his injuries, but he didn't know how long he'd be able to bear the smell without vomiting.

As he walked around this area of the city, he could feel some people glaring at him as he passed them. Felix wondered what it was about him that made some people instantly dislike him. Or, maybe, residents of Tatooine didn't like outsiders. He didn't know. In his current state, he obviously wasn't a threat. It was a bit strange how he was already drawing some negative attention. If things went on like this, he wasn't going to get any help at all. He began to wonder if he was going to die here. He was going to die...with his last breath...being the dung worms. No! He refused to let that become a reality! He began to walk faster, lifting his gaze from the ground and looking ahead with new determination. Determination to keep living, no matter how bad his injuries got. Determination to--

Oof! Just as he began to look ahead, Felix ran into something, causing him to fall back on his butt. He wasn't the most graceful person. He looked up to find that what he ran into was actually a someone. This guy looked pretty tough too, probably the kind to get ticked off at someone bumping into him. Felix made no attempt to stand back up, but instead waved his hands in front of him.

"Hey, man...guy. Guy man!" He stuttered awkwardly. "I don't want any trouble! It was an accident! Just, uh...forget I even exist and go on your way, all right?" He didn't even know if this person would be angry, but he didn't want to take any chances after he got shot down by someone else.

Thomas walked through the city towards the crash site, smoke still rising into the air. He doubted that it was the smoke from the ship, but the city stunk. The odor invaded his nostrils and he was doing his best to not let the smell get to him. He turned around a corner and immediately was hit by something. Thomas didn't budge but he heard a thump as whatever had run into him fell to the ground. Looking down he saw a young man who looked to be about the same size as himself, except just a little bit smaller.

The man raised his hands in front of him as if to keep something between him and Thomas. "Hey, man...guy. Guy man!" He stuttered awkwardly. "I don't want any trouble! It was an accident! Just, uh...forget I even exist and go on your way, all right?" Who did he think Thomas was? The schoolyard bully? As Thomas tried to think of something to get the man to calm down, Doc spoke up. "Thomas, this man has suffered some serious injuries." Thomas turned to look at the droid. "I'm not that strong am I? I can harm a person just by letting them run into me?" Doc shook his head. "No, these are injuries typically associated with starship crashes." "And how do you know that?" "You forget that I have a vast knowledge of injuries and medical procedures." Thomas simply nodded, and then realizations struck him.

He looked back down at the man and extended his hand to help him up. "That means that you must be the pilot of that vessel that got shot down in orbit."

The man hadn't made a move to harm Felix, but he was already slowly scooting backwards to make a quick escape if he needed to. The man was briefly distracted by the droid talking about Felix's injuries. Maybe this was the perfect time to make a run for it! Wait, what was he thinking? He wasn't going to get very far with his injuries. Felix stopped his scooting nonsense when he realized this. This guy would catch up to him easily. But if it were under normal circumstances, Felix would be able to get away! It was just...now was different. It wasn't Felix's fault. When the man reached down to help Felix off the ground, he thought that maybe this guy wasn't so bad after all. He looked intimidating, but perhaps he was a big softie on the inside. Whatever. The good news was that this guy seemed willing to help!

Felix reached up and pulled himself to his feet with the man's assistance, grunting in pain slightly as he did so. When the stranger asked about Felix's ship, he chuckled lightly, an arrogant grin coming to his face.

"Shot down? No, you're mistaken. I parked it there," He responded, crossing his arms. "None of my creations--especially that beauty--would be taken down so easily." One of his eyebrows quirked up as he looked to the side. "I just had, uh...some technical difficulties while I was landing here, so I'm looking for some parts to fix it. That's all." Yup. Felix had totally meant to park his ship here. Just like that. He wasn't on his way to Naboo or anything. Nope. He'd meant to park his ship here on this godforsaken planet known as Tatooine. "Think you could help me out? I'll do something for you in return! I can cook. Or fix something. Whatever!"

Thomas smirked at what the man said about parking his ship. "From what I saw up there in orbit you weren't parking it. You don't have to worry about that guy either, last I saw him his engines were dying and he wasn't going anywhere." He turned back the way that he came and motioned for the man to follow. "Before we see how much work your ship is going to need, it would probably be best if we get your injuries checked out." Doc buzzed in and floated beside the man. "I can run a thorough diagnosis back on the Jack of Diamonds." "If you're wondering what the Jack is, it's my ship." He turned around and walked backwards. "By the way, my name is Thomas Do'Kien. May I ask what yours is?"

Wait, this guy actually saw what happened before Felix crashed down on the planet? That was not good. He has a reputation to uphold! He can't let people think he's some kind of weakling who fell asleep while piloting his ship! Sure, Felix was glad that the guy who shot at him was taken care of, but that wasn't as important right now! Felix flinched only slightly when the droid floated over to him. A "thorough diagnosis?" There was really nothing to it. He was beaten and bruised from the crash. Still, he followed the man--who he now knew as Thomas--to where ever his ship would be. He wasn't going to pass up this act of kindness, but he needed to clear some things up. Felix began to laugh, but winced when it caused the pain to worsen. He waved his hand dismissively.

"Your eyes were deceiving you, obviously," Felix said. "Yeah, that guy was shooting at me, but he never hit me. I dodged everything perfectly! My ship was just...already a little damaged. And, uh...thanks for dealing with that guy. Not sure what I did to tick him off!" He chuckled, his grin returning to his face. "Felix Alfero. Maybe you've heard of me. Good things, I hope." Felix turned his head to look around at his surroundings, a bit excited to see what Thomas' ship looked like. Maybe it'll give him ideas on some modifications he could make on his own ship.

Felix's thoughts began to drift back to the aggressive pilot of the other starship. He did have a history of making people angry from ripping them off, but never to the point that they'd want to kill him. It was a bit...concerning. Maybe that guy thought he was someone else. Whatever. He'd think about it later.

He just shook his head and turned back around to walk properly. "Whatever you say kid, but I know what I saw. And no, I've never heard the name Felix Alfero, so if you're worried about me hearing goods things, you've got a blank slate to work with." They passed through a doorway into the docking bay that held the Jack of Diamonds. Thomas waved at it as if to show it off. "The Jack of Diamonds, a ZH-25 Questor, he's older than me. It's been upgraded with faster sublight engines and an enhanced sensor array." The landing ramp was still down and he walked up into the interior of the vessel. Doc rushed off to where the medical supplies were to get a scanner. Thomas sat down on the semi-circular couch that surrounded a table.

"Doc'll be right back to see just how much damage you actually took. You can have a seat while we wait. Anything you want to get off your chest or want to know about me?"

This guy was tough. It looked like Felix had to keep working to convince Thomas that he wasn't taken down that easily! He seriously didn't want--whoa. Felix stopped in his tracks when Thomas' ship came into view. That was way bigger than Felix's ship, and he couldn't even hear what Thomas was saying except the modifications he made to it. Apparently, it was an old ship, but...better than Felix's. He considered taking the repairs as an opportunity to revamp his own ship's design and enhance it in some way. Better defenses, maybe. The shield was all right...most of the time. He didn't really improve it much since he finished building it.

When he boarded the ship, Felix was looking around to take in the design of the interior. There was no way he was going to just sit down when he had an opportunity to poke around in a nicer ship. He knocked on the wall gently just to listen to it. He was almost tempted to take out his tools and start taking things apart, but...that might be rude. Instead, he put his hands in his pockets and looked around a bit more. Everything about the discussion they were having before completely escaped Felix's mind and was forgotten.

"You said this ship is older than you?" He asked. "Who built it?"

Thomas shifted his weight a little bit to get more comfortable. He could tell from the way that Felix was acting that he was impressed by the ship. Thomas didn't understand why, it was designed a thousand years ago. But when it was built? He didn't know, but he knew there were only two people that could have built it. "I have two guesses as to who built it. One is my father who passed this ship down to me after his death. The second is Starfield Industries, the ones who designed this ship a thousand years ago. Obviously it isn't a thousand years old, so I'm placing my bets on my father."

At that moment Doc buzzed back in with the scanner and it quickly enveloped Felix in blue light. The scanner beeped and Doc brought it over to Thomas, he had no need to read the results, they automatically uploaded to his database. As Thomas looked over the scanner, Doc turned and spoke to Felix. "You're going to need some bacta patches, we have a supply of them," he rotated his head towards Thomas, "and we have more than enough." Thomas set down the scanner. "Well then in that case go get some and some gauze." Doc nodded and flew out of the room. Thomas returned his attention back to Felix.

"Hope you don't mind that we give you some bacta to help, but back to the ship. Thirty-six years ago I was born aboard this ship while it was in hyperspace." He lightly shrugged. "I've never heard of anyone else being born as I was, but there haven't seemed to be any side effects. After my birth it was put in storage and eighteen years after that I took it back out of said storage. Since then it's been my home and I've made a few upgrades here and there. Which means that I may have some parts laying around that can help repair your ship." Doc flew back in with the gauze and bacta patches in hand.

"Should I apply the bandages or do you wish to do so yourself, Felix?" Thomas pointed towards the corridor. "There's a bathroom right around the corner if you want to use that."

Felix nodded as he listened to Thomas, still looking around at the interior. Even though it was an old model--a really old model--Felix was still rather intrigued. He never really got a good look at any ships other than his own, and he would have loved to speak to Thomas' father. Too bad that was impossible. Felix was lost in thought for a moment while he pondered the improvements he could make to his ship. Better defenses was out of the question. His ship being shot down was a good example of how unreliable the shield can be at times. It was probably a product of Felix's inexperience when he designed it. Maybe he should add more space? But then that might slow it down. Besides, Felix is usually the only person on it. Just him and the droid parts he carries around.

Felix came out of his thoughts when a blue light suddenly surrounded him. Oh, right. The droid was looking at fixing Felix's injuries. Felix turned back to Thomas as he continued to speak, and his eyes widened, impressed. "You were born on this ship?" He asked. "That's amazing. I was born on Nar Shaddaa, which I've heard isn't really the best place, but...it's not that bad." Felix shrugged, then looked over at the droid when it returned with the bacta patches and gauze. He picked up the medical supplies and nodded. "Thanks. I can do it myself." With that, Felix turned the corner and entered the bathroom, as Thomas had instructed. Luckily, his injuries weren't as bad as they felt. His side and his left leg were pretty banged up, but that was the worst of it. It was way better than being dead, that's for sure. After applying the bandages, Felix exited the bathroom and walked back to Thomas.

"So!" He began, grinning. "Anything I can do before we look for parts to repair my ship? I guess..." He suddenly looked a bit embarrassed. "I do kinda owe you now."

Thomas shook his head as he stood up. "There is nothing I need at this moment in time." He began to walk towards the back of the ship, where the cargo bay was. Doc flew off to do whatever it was he did when he wasn't around Thomas. Coming up to the door that led into the bay, he pressed a few buttons on the control panel to its side. The door slid open into darkness and after a second that darkness was dispersed as the lights came on. Inside were stacks of durasteel containers. Mostly everything in here were parts for the Jack, but there were also fuel cells, dehydrated food, and a few random, valuable parts. He had no idea why he kept those valuable parts when he never had the time to sell them and they couldn't be used on the Jack.

Thomas stepped inside so that Felix could enter and see what was inside for himself. "I've got a little bit of everything, but I don't know what it is you need." He pulled a device off the wall and pressed a button. The sound of crates popping open filled the bay. "You can take a look around, while I head back to the cockpit. The only way we can repair your ship is if we can get to it, and I don't plan on hauling everything out to where you parked it." He turned around and left the bay, but not before getting a quick glance to make sure the hidden camera in the room was working. He doubted Felix would be the kind to steal anything, but he was cautious.

He sat down in the pilot's seat and activated the ship's engines and repulsors. The Jack of Diamonds slowly rose up off the sandstone floor of the docking bay and its landing struts retreated into the ship. Once he was clear of the lip of the bay he steered it towards the direction that the column of smoke, that had once rose but no longer did, and pushed the stick forward.

Felix was a bit disappointed to hear that Thomas didn't need anything. He never liked owing people, and he did technically owe Thomas his life. If he didn't scare off the guy chasing Felix, Felix would be dead meat right now. Even if Thomas saw that disastrous display in orbit, it was good that he showed up when he did. Luck had very strange ways of showing for Felix so far. After Thomas left the cargo bay and started up the ship, Felix took a look around the crates. It was nice that Thomas had a little of everything, because Felix was probably going to need it. Every essential part of his ship was busted, and there was no way he was going to get off the planet until it was fixed. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be much of anything Felix could use in the way of upgrading his ship. He'd need a bit more than the basics for that, but what's in here will have to do until he can get better materials. Before Felix left the room himself, he made a mental note of the valuable parts Thomas seemed to have stored up in here. If Thomas didn't need them, he could sell those for a good amount.

After he left the cargo bay, Felix simply took a seat in the area they were talking before, waiting for them to arrive at his ship. At least this was way more convenient than walking. Felix really wouldn't have enjoyed carrying everything either.

The Jack came to the spot where Felix's ship rested. Turning the stick, the ship spun to where the cargo bay doors would face the downed craft. The landing struts extended again and he gently put the Jack down on the sand. He pressed flipped a switch on the console in front of him, and at the back of the ship the cargo bay doors lowered down. He got up out of the seat and spun to leave the cockpit...and almost ran into Doc. "Doc, what are you doing? I almost ran into you!"

Doc's "eyes" faded into the center, imitating blinking. "Why are you helping this man, Thomas? I know you always have ulterior motives." Thomas just stared back at the droid. "I don't always have ulterior motives, Doc. At least this time I didn't at the beginning. At first I was just interested in finding out what happened to that ship and then helping the pilot, which is still the goal. But you're right, now there is something behind it." He let out sigh. "I'm a lot older than when I started out into the galaxy, and I've handled it just fine, but now I'm understanding that I can't do everything alone." Doc imitated blinking again. "You're not alone, you have me." "I do have you, but you and I can solve all the problems we have. We need friends out there who can do things we can't. Maybe Felix doesn't buy into it and we never see him again. So? I'll be better at it the next time I find someone that can help us. Now, It's been too long since we landed, Felix might be listening to us and I don't what to think of that, but let's get his ship fixed shall we."

He pushed past Doc and entered the galley where he and Felix had talked early. "Okay, ship's landed and we can unload supplies. Let's get to work on that ship of yours." With Doc behind him he walked into the cargo bay again and pushed another button on the device from earlier. Repulsorlifts on the crates came alive, making it easier to move them out where they could be used.

Felix wasted no time in getting up and walking outside to more thoroughly examine the damage his ship took. The damage from the shots was pretty severe and he sighed, realizing that it might take him all day to fix this. He walked back onto the Jack, picking out some crates with the larger parts and moving them outside to the side of his ship. Before he got to work, Felix stepped inside his small one-room ship to grab his tools from the storage area, which were still intact. Felix walked back outside and got to work fixing the major damage first, quickly picking out any parts he needed and working them into the damage.

"Were you heading anywhere before you came here?" Felix asked as he worked.

Thomas let out a low whistle when he saw the damage that the ship had taken. The thing was pretty beat up and now that he was close up he could confirm his thoughts. This ship wasn't designed, but instead had been built. What he meant by that was that this ship was custom and made simply to get by. He had no knowledge of this ship and decided to stay away from anything that was anything but hull damage. Out of one the crates he pulled out some durasteel plates and Doc buzzed out of the ship with Thomas's toolbox. Doc could tell what Thomas had in mind and already had the fusion cutter out of the box by the time he reached him. Doc had been programmed to help medical professionals by making equipment easily accessible, as such, he had no trouble adapting to starship repair.

Thomas took the fusion cutter and a plate and began patching up some of the holes in the ship. The problem was going to be getting to the underside of the ship. He motioned for Doc to set the tools down. "Go pull out the tow cable." Doc nodded and flew back to the ship, that was when Felix asked his question to which Thomas nodded. "I was headed for Mos Eiesly, some business that I had to take care out there. If you're worried about me being late, you don't have to be. What I have to do can be put off for a day." He wiped some sweat off his brow. "What about you? Business on Tatooine as well, or some other planet?"

Mos Eisley, huh? Felix had never been there, but he's heard stories about a less than favorable environment, but the same could be said for the rest of Tatooine as far as Felix was concerned. After fixing the damaged areas of the side of his ship, he began to patch up the holes. It didn't look very nice, but at least it would work. Unfortunately, Felix didn't have anything else he needed to do on Tatooine and preferred to leave as quickly as possible, but...there is a chance he could get some information about Nia here. He didn't even think about it before. And besides, people here might be more willing to buy parts off of him than in Naboo. Again, Felix could see some sort of reason that he could've crashed here instead of heading straight to Naboo. He was never really one to think that things happened for a reason, but now, he was beginning to think that this particular event was. It was a strange feeling, but he shrugged at Thomas' question.

"Well, I didn't actually mean to drop by here, but it could work," He replied. "I sell parts, you know. Made some decent money off them, but I doubt anyone in Naboo would be interested in them. Maybe I'll have better luck here. Is your business in Mos Eisley anything I could help with?" He suddenly stopped repairing when he realized part of what he just said. "And when I said I didn't mean to come here, I meant...I...I mean I did mean to come here, it just wasn't a part of my original plan! Just a pit stop for repairs, like I'm doing now! That's it! Like I said, my ship was already a little damaged before that guy started shooting at me." Yup. He was still going to pretend that he didn't get hit by the shots, even though it was obvious just by looking at the state of his ship.

Thomas held out his arms at the ship. "I'll say this, you'll have an excess of parts to sell." For a few seconds he ignored Felix's question about if he could help with Mos Eisley. He tossed around what he was thinking in his head before carefully forming his words. "You've seen that I can be kind and know a thing or two about starship repair, but there is another side to me. One that deals with the darker side of life." He moved onto another hole that needed patched. "Mos Eisley is home to many criminals and has no real way of dealing with them. Every now and again, one of those criminals has a bounty on his head. That is how I make my money, as a bounty hunter." Doc flew out of the ship with a thick durasteel cable trailing behind him.

He pulled a metal hook out of his toolbox and welded it to the top of the ship. Once he was done welding the patches on his side of the ship he took the cable Doc had brought out and hooked it to the hook. He looked over at Felix. "You done over there?"

Oh. A bounty hunter. Felix took that as a "no" in regards to if he can help. Not like he'd really want to; he was already getting himself into enough trouble without getting into the...illegal stuff. Again, Felix fell silent as he finished up patching the side of the ship he was working on. He's thankful that Thomas and his droid decided to help, otherwise this would have taken a lot longer. His thoughts drifted back to the fact that Thomas was a bounty hunter, and suddenly Felix's eyes widened with a realization.

"Wait a minute!" He suddenly shouted. "That guy that was shooting me! What if he was a bounty hunter?! Oh, man, this not good! I haven't done anything to warrant a bounty on my head! Or have I?!" With Felix thinking about the possibility of a bounty, Thomas' last question went in one ear and out the other. It was pretty obvious he was done, anyway.

Doc buzzed back into the Jack and into the cockpit while Thomas remained outside with Felix. "You sell parts right? What could you have done, overpriced parts?" The sound of the Jack starting up caused Thomas to back away from Felix's ship and shout so that he could be heard. "Besides, if that guy was a bounty hunter, then he isn't a good one. He just sat there as I shot out his engines, and before that he made no move to follow your ship down to the surface. A good bounty hunter doesn't leave without making sure the job is done."

The cable began to raise into the air as the Jack flew into the air. It tightened once it ran out of slack and the sound of his ship's engines could be heard to get louder. Felix's ship ever so lightly came out of the sand, sand running off followed the path of gravity and Thomas squinted so the sand wouldn't get in his eyes. He moved over to some of the crates that were in stacks and pushed them towards the rising ship. Once it was six feet in the air he pushed the crates underneath, turning off the bottom's repulsors and went to get another stack. Once there were enough stacks underneath he pulled out his comm and hailed Doc. "Okay Doc, you can put it down." "Of course, Thomas."

The ship lowered down onto the crates that acted as makeshift landing struts. The Jack then settled back on the sand again as well. "Now we can get to the underside."
