To create another tool for those wishing to rely more on stealth. This allows for greater RP freedom when preforming assassination missions or other tasks where the goal is to remain undetected. Adds more realism when taking out entire groups of NPCs without any sign of reaction or reinforcements from other soldiers in the area. DESCRIPTION
A small block box, this handy little gadget was designed for easy use by just about anyone and can fit into a pocket with little trouble. When active, it manually searches for nearby communication frequencies and begins emitting counter frequencies to those it detects. This effectively cancels out the opposing frequencies and prevents communication being sent or received within the jammers radius. This device was created to be greatly versatile and manages to block all manners of things from alarm signals, to voice communication, or even low key text based communication. However,despite its adaptable nature, there is a limited number of signals that can be blocked out at once, capping at five. It also has no great effectiveness against large scale heavily ingrained communication systems and while it may provide minor interference, it is best suited to smaller scale comlinks or personal data pads. The HH-Signal Slasher is also a tool without aiming sights. With proper tampering beforehand, it can be made to leave certain frequencies alone but otherwise is a hammer, meant to smash out any communication within its radius. This also applies to other Signal Slashers, and using more than one can result in each box effectively canceling each other, and in the end allowing communication to continue unheeded with only occasional interference. The Signal Slasher is also admittedly, very fragile, and care should be taken when handling it as even the simple act of dropping it could render it inoperable.
