Habibah Grata (born 6927 BBY, estimated) is a Echani bounty hunter and vocalist. Also known proffesionally as Chiffon. She was born and raised in the slums of Eshan to the name Jarvinia Dauer. She has achieved limited success early on in her career as a vocalist with such groups as Gundank and Wreck Rake. She has not performed with any known groups since her time on Eshan. In the years following her move to Hutt space she was trained by bounty hunter Faxon Arkan of moderate renown.
Mostly working on Nar Shadda during her apprenticeship she assisted in over a dozen bounties. After her teacher retired she resumed her career in music and performance. Limited success and opportunity on her own in terms of bounty hunting and music had her allegedly commit crimes. However no files were charged and no records remain of these events save for hearsay among the citizens of Hutt space.
Attestations indicate she was involved in dozen various bounties primarily in Hutt space during her solo career. Limited sightings and gathered information suggest underhanded means have led to what success she has achieved thus far. Bounties of opportunity more than ones of planned capture is what more seasoned hunters say.
Violence is not something she has tried to avoid according to public accounts from the numerous bars and nightclubs she has frequented. She has made it a point in her more recent appearances to seem wild and unpredictable. Whether this is a tactic or her true nature it cannot be decided. Few take interest in a low end bounty hunter who primarily gets by with body guard duty. As it stands the records on Habibah Grata are sparse at best requiring numerous second hand accounts to make any semblance of truth.

Biography
Early Years ~ 0-18
Born Jarvinia Dauer, in the slums of Eshan's primary metropolitan area. She grew up along two older brothers, named Laphay and Farrah. Her father was not in the picture and her mother tended to not talk about him. Jarvinia's mother's name was Johar and did her and supported her children by working numerous jobs. This period of time left both Jarvinia with minimal adult supervision. The slums were not an easy place to live in by far. Kids made their own cliques and groups and over time they soon turned into loose gangs. Both Laphay and Farrah did their best to stay away from the violence and criminal activity. By their early teens they had each been arrest twice.
Jarvinia did not conform to the societal expectations of her local community nor society. Instead at an early age she struck out on her own. She tagged abandoned buildings and vandalized public property with street art. Others did this as well but she never did it in the name of a gang. Her early years were not well recorded or documented meaning there was not any known arrests of Jarvinia. Local law enforcement have stated not crime is recorded and that it is not unheard of documentation tampering.
Her school records indicated that even with a sparse attendance record she completed all her courses with just below top marks. It could be speculated that she either earned them through hard work outside of school. On the other hand more skeptical individuals may say it would be easier if she bribed, black mailed or just cheated her school work. Some individuals and administators at the time strongly believed it unlikely for someone who missed at least four to five days of school each month if not more. When asked about where she was people would say they saw her just walking around town on her own before seeming to disappear.
Meeting Faxon
One week Javinia found herself processing a large number of bodies in the morgue. Many of which she recognized as gang members and a few belonged to police officers. Faxon Arkan was the bounty hunter that had killed the gangsters who had in turn killed the police officers. Faxon had taken it upon himself to wipe a crew that had a bounty out on it. He was unable to take them all out at once and had trouble tracking the last members down. However Javinia knew the area and had a lay of the land. She chose to use what she had gathered from the corpses to bargain her way a ride off world. He refused at first but Javinia offered to give the information to the local law enforcement and they would get the gangsters first. That would mean Faxon would not be able to get the full reward for the bounty so he then agreed to her terms.
Two days later Faxon held up his end of the bargain and Javinia boarded his ship. Faxon was Shorak and had some connections with the Hutts back on Nal Hutta. In route Javinia questioned him and watched him much to his annoyance. Faxon thought he would not have to deal with her after landing on the swamp planet. However, she followed him to where he would collect on his work. Observing from a short distance she could see the deal was going south rapidly. There was only a small number of the corsairs there but Faxon was able to read the signs and defended himself. In the heat of the fight he was caught off balance by one of the corsairs. Javinia was able to harass the pirate long enough for Faxon to regain his wits and emerge victorious.
New Life on Nar Shaddaa
Helping Faxon proved to earn her some favor with the Shorak who took her to Nar Shaddaa. There Faxon looked for the next job and Javinia was officially accepted as intern to the bounty hunter. For the first month few weeks she did very little but Faxon ended up setting her up with a new identity. This was when she adopted the new identity of Habibah Grata. While she did very little outside of observing and servicing Faxon she learned a great deal. A hard worker she surprised Faxon with her good work ethic and ambition.
Using the new set of hands to his advantage, Faxon started spreading rumors about his cohort. The two had only worked locally on Nar Shaddaa. More times than not it was simple presence and intimidation that he was used for. Habibah's mentor was not well off and was working to live. He had been working from job to job and travel had cost some of his own coin to complete. Still he was known to be a resourceful individual and was moderately respected on the planet. He set up Habibah with a security job at one of the night clubs. This was for when they weren't chasing down specific targets so that they could gain some steady income.
Earning A Reputation
Six months into working With Faxon and the two had started to move more towards work partners rather than teacher and apprentice. Habibah was a fast learner and so made exponential progress in any training the two had. It was time for her to actually get some hands on experience with a bounty. Faxon was skeptical and worried that Habibah would make a mistake and so urged her to be cautious.
Faxon let Habibah choose the job who picked a man that owed a several thousand credits to a loan shark by the name of Darren Reed. She did everything by the book and was able to bring the bounty to the Hutt with little issue. Faxon barely assisted her in this and so told her that if she wanted she could work solo. However the two remained as partners for another year. On her second job she ended up being forced to kill her quarry. The bounty was dead or alive but she still wished she hadn't killed the target. Faxon disapproved as well, prefering to only kill when it was a strictly kill order or if the bounty was that dangerous. However this one was neither and so he made it known his objections. It is believed it was at this point that the two started to grow apart.
Habibah began taking solo jobs here and there but still worked with Faxon regularly. Her flair in the club scene and at work earned her a reputation that started to circulate. At first glance many thought she was delicate and not much of a threat. A few lowlifes even tried assaulting her or other female performers while she worked security. Over the course of a year she put over a dozen people in the emergency room, one of which would never walk again. Her stage name 'Chiffon' only encouraged some opportunistic criminals to try something. Since Chiffon is a delicate material they thought she was an easy mark. After a while the stage name became a nickname for her in the bounty hunting business as well.
Triple Zero
Around a year after becoming a fully fledged bounty hunter Habibah and Faxon officially parted ways. All the money she had saved up she spent on weapons and equipment so that she could live independently. They ended things on good terms and agreed that if they met on a job to treat one another professionally. Habibah took to other systems, moving off world further and farther outside of Hutt Space with every job. She would still come back as she had a small apartment on Nar Shaddaa.
Finally she found herself in the slums of another ecumenopolis, Coruscant. At first she arrived chasing down a bounty but chose to stay for a long desired vacation. As such she spent her coin in the more lavish shopping districts, the expensive clubs and other costly forms of entertainment. A few times she performed for open stage night and earned herself an in with the local entertainment industry. However she needed to return to the work that she knew well and paid better. It was then that the loan shark that had hired her for her first job reached out to her. He had been on Coruscant and recognized her. He had another job in mind and so contact her with the details. The two met and she agreed to join his endeavors for a higher price than she normally gave. Seeing as how she had blown off more than anticipated on her holiday Habibah was short on funds but didn't let Darren Reed know that.
Present Day
Now she works with Darren Reed in the core worlds. Little information has been recovered regarding the specifics of her activities. Habibah has seemed to go underground both literally and metaphorically. The only times she has appeared to the public eye is a rare venture to the upper levels on a shopping spree or when she performs.
This has made it difficult to reach her for comment. So far she has been willing to take all interviews but it is just difficult to gain a one on one conversation with her. A few reporters and journalists have commented her limited reputation is sufficient to intimidate them.

Personal Life
While in school she was known as being a wallflower the other kids were wary of. Several alumni remark that early on people thought she was shy but when a boy tried teasing her she ended up knocking out several of his teeth. Habibah did not go looking for trouble and did not socialize with other children her age. Performers on Eshan remarked she was a good conversationalist while at the same time stating it was because she listened more than talked. She didn't make jokes often but when she did they were quick and short, easy to miss. Her family has not had much contact with her sense she left Eshan. At times they will hear from her or occasionally get a parcel with gifts of credits or some other present during the holidays.
Faxon, her mentor and ex-partner is her closest associate currently known. The two are friends and it is believed he is the closest thing she had to a male role-model since Habibah was raised by a single mom. The Shorak and the Echani made a chumy duo on Nar Shaddaa remarked multiple eye witnesses. The state of their current relationship is unknown. A few men and women over the years have been in relationships with Habibah. The nature of her work and lifestyle keep her from establishing stable and long lasting relationships.
Public Image
Habibah is aware that both her bounty hunting career will cross over with one another in time. As such she has already solidified her method of image. While she is only 157 centimeters in height she boasts a physically fit figure. This is often shown off when she performs in revealing clothes. Habibah performs under the name of "Chiffon" after the material of the same name. Over the years she has recruited and inspired a handful of associates to do the same. Her combination of retro and new age fashion is mirrored in her performance.
As for her image as a bounty hunter she is known as being a ruthless hunter. Her experience is known on Nar Shaddaa but elsewhere is otherwise obscure. As a performer she has been able to improvise as well as act wild in one moment or placid as necessary. She lets her prey decieve themselves into her capture. In other areas of work she can be seen as delicate and underestimated which she makes up for by being especially brutal.
Bounties that have committed heinous crimes she has been particularly harsh with. Habibah is very rough with those that have targeted women and even refused to work for employeers that have done so. While she knows that not all can stomach her work as a bounty hunter Habibah still wants to be an inspiration to individuals across the galaxy.
she has several tattoos but usually all that people see is her neck tattoo.
Wealth
Opulence is not a natural state for Habibah Grata. Her family was brought up in the slums of Eshan and everything she has today she has earned with her own blood sweat and fears. A host of wardrobe choices are at the forefront of her collection which she only ever wears when not working on a bounty. A keen interest in retro technology and items she picks up small trinkets here and there in her travels. Simple weapons and equipment are what she currently utilizes in the field. The life of a bounty hunter is rough and unforgiving so sometimes the recuperation after a job gives the hunter little spending money after repairs and resupply.
She does rent an apartment somewhere on Nar Shaddaa. It is small but is very secure and in the type of neighborhood where robberies are very uncommon.
While no reliable eye witnesses can (or will) come forward, Habibah has been said to possess or use heavy aramament in her violent proffesion. A Stinger - stun blaster is among the most non-lethal means she has. Primarily she uses a Satyr blaster carbine. This is followed by a Ankh blaster pistol. One frag grenade, one adhesive grenade, are used as well in her line of work. A collapsible vibro-sword kept on her as well. Most of the time Habibah dresses flamboyantly but she does wear a, Flight Suit (with Altered appearance) , or Hippeus Protective kit (With jetboots from this plot) for protection albeit with some custom colors and ornaments. Additionally she wears a flamboyantly colored EVA suit that she keeps on board her Vari Boarding Skiff, named Vice (acquired from plot). Some people suggest she has used borderline illegal arms such as the Thunderslug pulse pistol though these are just sightings without any proof. She carries no less than two reloads for each weapon she carries on her. Shock Boxing Gloves are usually worn no matter what outfit she wears.
