Plot Outline Submission Template:
1. What is going to happen in your plot?
My plot will consist of three Jedi PC's whom will be responsible for finding a group of missing Jedi on Dantooine. They will be tasked with finding these Jedi and safely returning them back to Jedha. Upon arrival to Dantooine the group of Jedi PC's will find the situation is more than it originally seemed. A group of slavers have kidnapped the Jedi younglings and held the town populace as hostages, all in an attempt to sell the young Jedi to the Sith Empire for a handsome reward. Obviously this will change the original mission completely and the slavers will have to be dealt with by any means.
2. What other players will be a part of this?
GABA and Cheshire both volunteered to join me on this quest. I've accepted both of their characters which makes this plot involve three Jedi PC's.
3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
My plot will be taking place on Dantooine and several locations on the planet.
4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
Thread 1 - This will involve the Jedi PC's arriving on Dantooine and within the small mining town where the group of Jedi younglings was last known to be. Upon arrival the Jedi PC's will notice how things might seem off. The town "Elder" is fairly young, the civilian populace is all inside their homes, those individuals of the town who are outside carry weapons far to superior for simple miners and a strange sense of fear looms over the town. Nothing comes of these "Signs" and the Jedi PC's are told where exactly Kyvon's old Master lead his group of younglings, they will then carry onwards to find his Masters group like the original mission called for.
Thread 2 - This thread will consist of the Jedi PC's finally finding what's left of the Jedi younglings. A small skirmish ensued and dead Kath Hounds litter the area where the Jedi where supposed to be. However they where killed by blaster fire, strange seeming how most Jedi carry lightsabers. After further investigation they notice a nearby crystal cave, the team of Jedi PC's explore this cave. While inside they find a Jedi wounded from a fight, a few dead bodies around her, this woman lays down the truth. Saying a group of slavers took the Jedi younglings and there intention is to sell them to the Sith and collect a big reward of credits.
Thread 3 - This will consist of the final showdown between the Jedi and the slavers held up within the mining town. It's pretty straightforward.
5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
My character Kyvon has been tasked with finding his old Master, Darun. Darun is the leader of the young Jedi group, thus this is a personal story mission for my character. He's trying to find his old master. Not only that but I want to expose Kyvon to the dangers of being a Jedi. Until this point he's had no real combat experience nor has he had any field training, so I'm pushing him towards an uncomfortable position that he must either sink or swim. Win or lose if you will.
6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
No I do not need any Cannon NPC's for this plot. I intend to have me and all others involved DM their own stories and have this mainly be driven by our characters. I will implement the dice mechanic to test the strength of our characters actions, enemy NPC's strength or foresight into a coming conflict. I'll try to make it as fair but challenging as I possibly can. I don't want this to be a simple walk in the park. I like risks, rewards and the inevitable failure if it comes to that.
