Hutt Space Keeping Reputation

Crime continues to rise in Hutt space

Despite the many changes in the galaxy that have come and gone in the past decade one thing seems to remain the same, the lawlessness and violence of Hutt Space. Gangs run rampant and crime permieats even the most civil of planets in the region. Trade comes and goes frequently in and out of the area but has yet to come under rule of any one major faction currently in the galaxy. Murders are frequent and any even the hardiest of travelers give pause before entering this region. As of recently the crime lords have either been relaxed or extremely strict as a higher percentage of bodies have been reported. It is believed these are the weeding out process of disloyal gang members and weak initiates. This could be the signal of greater activity from the Hutts to come.

Secrets of the Past

Numerous ruins and locations are rediscovered

Across the galaxy there are hidden sites and areas that could give researches insight to the past. Tools and artifacts of forgotten societies and works of art that fill in gaps to the records we once thought forever lost are now being examined by numerous research organizations. These are not limited to a single location or group but explorers and scientists are seeing a rise in funding as more discoveries are made. These are likely due to the lull in the violence between warring factions and the removal of the republic. The claiming of territories unearths these subjects for greater scrutiny. "This is likely just a small fraction of what awaits us... I look forward to making new discoveries" says one researcher with enthusiasm.

Pirates Brought To Justice

Criminals in Dominion Space Thinking Twice

Through hard work, skill and determination numerous criminals have been aprehended by specialized units in the Mandalorian Dominion and unclaimed territories. "...We're making progress but there's a long way to go..." says one enforcer who shows just how peristalsis pirates can be. But the Dominion forces are equally stubborn in the best ways and have displayed as much in their dauntless persuit and elimination of these void faring raiders.

"...Those that profit off the suffering of others are the real scum of the galaxy..." says one raid survivor. It is easy to see that this is just the beginning of the Dominion's efforst to secure any internal issues and make life better for its citizens. Now there is talk of the Kjlljk Protectorate assisting Mandalorian forces in combating the Corsairs.

Successful Rescue

Prison break resulted in the liberation of Mirdala Priest

Just days ago some of Mand'alor's most elite warriors (@Phoenix , @Sreeya ) infiltrated and extracted one of our own. This took place all the way on Ziost and proved to be a resounding success. Now the rescued individual, @Mirdala Priest has fully recovered from the tortures he had been subjected to. Other enemies ( @Kelfa ) of the Sith seem to also have escaped during the confusion and are no doubt wrecking havoc on sith worlds giving the Sith Empire more than enough to deal with for the time being. "...A solid win I'd say..." says local mandalorian Mani Vromm. Some of the details are being kept under wraps at this point and are classified but the information available lifts the spirits of the Mandalorian Dominion and its citizens.

New Face of Popular Music

"SCPGRC is a rising star in more than just the music industry" - Sami Newserton

A few years ago only a small number of people on Zeltros were the fanbase of SCRPGRC. The following of the band has increase just like its popularity and has become a sensation galaxy wide. Hit's like "Dread Ryder" and "R4nD0M" stayed at the top of the charts for an all time record high. There has been further enthusiasm with their most recent composition "Retro Swell" . We can look forward to this enthusiasm continuing as the 147 member strong group announces a nonstop tour across the stars. They will be using funds earned from their performances in charity events and outreach projects in various areas.

Not only is the tour a signal for a new era of music for the galaxy but one for entertainment in general. The music group has numerous members taking part in holo vid dramas, talk shows and cinematography. Scapegrace's reputation at being approachable has not wavered and despite their fame they continue to meet with fans on a regular basis. They started off with a dozen members back on Zeltros and were thought to have peeked at 88. They continue to surprise us with their original performances, spectacular music and provocative messages. More on their activity is to come so stay tuned.

Astora company (AC) is seeing a slight rise which is surprising due to its new appearance in the market. Corellian Engineering is loosing stock most likely due to the rise of multiple smaller corporations. Their PR representative assures us they are doing just fine regardless. Czerka is fluctuating subtly but maintaining an increase in the long run though some people wonder just what is going on at Czerka. Dawnward Design Industries (DDI) is recieving an influx of profits as popularity outside of traditional mandalorian space increases. Kuat Drive Yards (KDY) is recovering from a steep loss earlier in the year but only through large commitment though it is unlikely they will fully return to their previous status nearly a decade ago at least not for some time. Mandal Motors (MM) staying at a steady increase is expanding in Dominion space and even towards its borders as well primarily thanks to the military contracting and supply of the dominion. Makr Holdings (MRH) is staying at its low status for the time being. Nubian Drive Yards (NDY) has maintained its profits thanks to its simple competency. Price Corp (PRCE) has simply been off the radar for awhile and is passively loosing popularity. Rothana Heavy Engineering (RHE) has businesss plumit in the opposition of the Dominion. Santhe Corporation (SC) is seeing a drop thanks to an increase in piracy and theft of their corporate products before they even make it to the shelves. Star Soda (SS) was seeing a higher increase earlier but has since lowered slightly due to parental concerns of the sugary products. Wattra Arms (WA) is seeing a moderate increase just from sheer competency and a lack of larceny that has spared the corporation's image.

Baffeling Murders Continue

No Determinable Pattern To These Killings
​

A returning number of murders spread across neutral space. Reports coming in from various planetary law enforcement have accrued to larger numbers. These killings have no known pattern to them and could be unrelated. "The timing is too convenient..." said one officer when question. Few details are known at this time of the killer and motivation. While such violence is not strange in hutt space and other unruly areas of the galaxy these have started to pop up closer to the core. Never have they seemed to take place simultaneously so investigators say it could one individual with likely more to pop up in the future.

"..these [CENSORED] murders are pointless. These people didn't do anything. They were just normal people and who ever this [CENSORED] is just off'd them for no reason..." commented on area man. This is no exaggeration as reports say these deaths are caused by severe blood loss and brutality. Still the killer has so far left no trace of their identiy and is at large.

Sporadic reports of the perpetrator(s) is spotty at best. Some claim them to be unrelated and the cause of complacency of local law enforcement. Some planets are on the brink of enforcing a curfew to prevent individuals from being targeted. People armed with self defense weapons are on the rise and arms sales increasing regularly and as a result weapon mishandling has increased as well resulting in a dozen injuries and a handful of deaths.

Hutt Bounty Board

Watch Out For Other Bounties or Your Own​

A resurgance of the Hutt Bounty Board is a warning to all those that would wrong the leaders of Hutt Space. The Hutt cartels are known for being ruthless in their business and now are attracting the hungry eyes of others with the promise of gelt. All one has to do is take on a bounty and deliver. These bounties are going to be honored by the Hutts and unlike the typical bounties these seem to be more typical of Hutt space etiquette. It seems that for the Hutts you either have a blaster or a bull's eye and sometimes both.

Astora company (AC) has dropped significantly due to the inactivity of it's leader Anri Astora who was the CEO of the subsidiary AstoraArms. Corellian Engineering (CE) has made up for its recent decline in sales by providing cheaper maintenance services in select locations. Czerka (CZC) turns heads as the Czerka News Network returns to broadcasting galaxy wide. Dawnward Design Industries (DDI) is not disappointing its reputation and continues to gain popularity around dominion space. Kuat Drive Yards (KDY) ihas surprised investors by going positive in stock. Mandal Motors (MM) is still going strong but has lost a few points now that it is focusing most of its efforts on military contracts. Nubian Drive Yards (NDY) is seeing an increase in local popularity and funding. Rothana Heavy Engineering (RHE) has been liquidated. Several smaller companies have purchased the majority of its remaining assets.. Santhe Corporation (SC) has been seeing an increase in funding and some other investors have taken a risk in ventures. Star Soda (SS) continuing to show popularity and proactive ad campaign. Wattra Arms (WA) for the most part is unchanged.

"Peace is a foreign concept to mandalorians, something the jedi and sith don't seem to grasp"

Locals of mandalorian space have been building up alignments with the Mandalorian Dominion and the memory of the Galactic Republic is nothing but a memory now. Still it seems that the Jedi Order, Sith Empire and other factions seem unaware that Mandalorians are warriors born and bred. Nobody states this better than members of Clan Priest. While they are warriors of many words they are not ones to be taken lightly. To those that think diplomacy is a course of action they don't realize that the Dominion is more than happy to finish a fight it didn't start. The 'guardians of peace' are not the only ones trying to reach out to the neutral sections of space with peaceful intentions. Some independent sects are looking to prey upon various naive systems. No more than ever it is important to be strong, and be wary.

Extreme Sports Increasing Popularity

Studies have shown a steady increase in extreme athletes over the past year.

While technically still engaged in military skirmishes on multiple fronts civilian populaces across the galaxy have shown an increase in high risk athletic activities. Some of these range from simple momentary stunt to long lasting thrills in some of the most spectacular locales. Researches believe this is do to the celebrity spotlighting such activities making everyday citizens try such things as well. Multiple companies are sponsoring major athletes and coming out with new gear and equipment. Parents can rest somewhat easier knowing that this increase in interest also increase skepticism and safety regulations for competitive events overall decreasing injury and fatality statistics. Some do it to look cool while others appear to likely using it to escape the harsh truths of real life.​

Narrow Miss
"Solar flares are a bigger danger than we realize"

When people think of dangers from the stars they often think of a tyrannical regime or a large meteor heading towards the surface of their world. However there are just as dangerous but far more natural events that may occur. This past week a solar flare shot out waves of radiation that hit orbital path of Mandalore. However the planet had passed through this part of it's orbit a few days earlier. It was the equivelant of a celestial miracle that it did not blast the planet with intense electromagnetic radiation. If it had blasted the surface of the capital planet there would have been mass blackouts for weeks if not months. "Would have been fine. Don't need tech to kick [censored] and survive." local man Toamwata Carcharo said with stoic confidence.

PriceCorp Purchased
Increase in available jobs galaxy wide

The fueling and transport company known as PriceCorp has been purchased most recently by Sunrise Trade Serivce. Now as one of the brands and additional subsidiaries of Dawnward Technologies it is already being integrated into the Concord Dawn company. Ditte Skirata states they won't be cutting any positions to save money. Instead they are adding new positions and bringing some of the teams from STS to work with PriceCorp Employees. Will this be a worthwhile venture for the company or will it have it's consequences? We will have to wait and find out.​

Kjlljk Protectorate Manufacturing has slightly slowed in it's production and is seeing a drop from limited distribution of products. Cinematic Festival Looks Promising

"The line up of this summer's indie-holos are going to wow the public"

As it is every year, the Moonrise Cinematic Festival is going to be showing a spectacular selection of short films. Some are as short as only a dozen minutes while some range to an hour. This event is meant to spark imagination and artistic intrigue across the galaxy. People from various cultures and planets get a chance to create and see their fruits of their labors in this month long event. This year it will take place on the planet Corsin. The style of these well crafted and entertaining pieces are each unique. Some are animated while others are live action. Even big names like Daniel Westwood, Xar Throne and many more are said to be showing up as they either wrote, directed or contributed to one or more of these films.

Expansion in manufacturing has competitors worried

Some may be aware that Astora Corporation has recently sold many of its assets to other companies to mitigate a loss in profit and consolidate resources. This was just the first sign in the event of the company being purchased and reassigned. Now Dawnward Design Industries has taken the initiative startling competitors after its recent acquisition of PriceCorp only a few weeks earlier. The Astora Corporation has been almost completely dissolved save for its sole subsidiary, Astora Arms. It has been kept and assigned as a brand name for Dawnward Arms for the time being. "we will be phasing out Astora Arms. We understand that for the sake of its employees and good business we won't be halting all activity but gradually transferring everything to Dawnward Arms." says Vice President of DDI Ditte Skirata​

Battles along the Hydian Way have been common in the past several years. These skirmishes between the Sith Empire and the Mandalorian Dominion take place in the streets, in space and in the wilds of backwater planets all along this route. This characteristic is only reinforced as the Sith Empire move on the planet Bandomeer. Once the head quarters of the now defunct Border Alliance it still posses value for the Mandalorian Dominion. The planet of Dathomir also possess an interest to the sith and their strange ways thought the Empire might not see eye to eye with the locals of the dark planet. Ord Cestus, also a sight of confrontation between dominion and empire forces. However reports are still coming in and we will keep these updates coming as events progress. Stay tuned.

Serenno Family Murdered

The killer is still at large with a hostage

Yesterday it was leaked that multiple murders took place on the planet of Serenno. The victims were non other than the Sassani family, one of the great houses of the planet. The crime is suspected to have been carried out by a young mercenary employed by the family. After killing the family head, wife and eldest son, the then 13 year old second son was taken hostage. There were other mercenaries employed by the family but it appears that the killer turned on them as well. The culprit fled the scene and his whereabouts are unknown.​
