I will have a training write-up soonish. Basically I want to streamline our process and include some OOC classes. Let us know if you have more ideas for classes which should be offered.
We need a training course on principles of interrogation and how to withstand it, as well as resist abilities such as Drain Knowledge. This might best be done through one-on-one experience.
Other options include:
Terrorism: How to maximize terror.
Conviction: Withstanding Dark Side powers such as Force Lightning or Spear of Midnight Black.
It'd be a good read, but a better one for the class instructor!! Hehe. Chapters 1 and 3 are the most pertinent though, and primarily 3-10, 3-20, 3-26. This begins at the bottom of page 59 in the .pdf. Most of the rest is simply a statement of the obvious, like a lot of military diagrams and doctrines.
A person once told me the most valuable information does not pertain to the location of critical facilities, but instead is a simple update and insight into the everyday workings of the machine that is the organization. How do people co-exist with each other, etc.
I could OOCly instruct that class. ICly too, since Balthazar did do some black ops stuff (noble Knight bearing notwithstanding.) And agreed on salient points, but I do like some scientific management doctrines with my military-industrial complex. :CHappy
Been reminded that we need to do mission stuff. I hadn't forgotten, but we're trying to get retinue stuff started. In this case though, we'll be able to do 'simulated missions' so that people from different factions can "interact" ICly and we can get a good feel for each other as RPers.
I will remind everyone to vote in this thread for which missions, classes, etc. you'd like first. I'm thinking of offering a stealth mission (something vaguely Splinter Cell-ish) to teach IC/OOC stealth skills.
I would like a Use of The Force class. For IC and OOC because I've never used a Force sensitive character before myself and my character needs the training anyways.
