I. LOTHAL
Of the memories he has collected of his homeworld, Lothal, none stand out more than the blazing heat and the mishmash of cultures. (Of the rest, he keeps to himself. A storybook he visits sparsely.) His father a humble mechanic, and his mother an eccentric teacher. Sometimes, more than he wishes to admit even to himself, he misses the simplicity of it all. The sand between his toes, the burning winds peppering his cheeks.
His parents had known of his gift ever since he was an infant. Understanding that it was his choice and his choice alone on whether he would use it or not, they resumed a normal life. Despite this, they knew that their child was destined for a life away from normality, away from Lothal and, most importantly, away from them.
So, they prepared. They taught him how to cook his own meals, how to clean his own clothes. Their boy had become a figure of clay that they had each played a part in moulding. He would represent them well. He would represent himself well.
They didn’t shy away from telling their son of the heroic tales of the Jedi. The Order had been a revelation over the last century, providing aid to those in need, restoring those who were damaged. If he was to utilise his gift, it would be for the right cause – as parents, they would make sure of that at least.
When he was finally of age to make a conscious decision on his own terms, a thirteen-year old Byron informed them of the decision they had already known was coming: he was going to join the Jedi Order on Ajan Kloss.
II. IN-TRAINING
As a padawan, Byron was subjected to a variety of missions and lessons throughout his training. Despite a period of homesickness, particularly throughout the first couple of years during his time on the jungle planet, Byron has since settled into the Order's community.
After a decade of training, Byron has recently passed his Padawan training regime and is now officially one of the Order’s Jedi Knights.
- PERSONALITY

Of the individuals in the Order, Byron could be considered one of its most passionate. Once a rash, brazen student, the years of tutelage within the Order has tamed the waves of emotion that reside within (or at least learned to control them) him. In the past, he was often plagued with outbursts.
Now they are rare, and almost always internal.
A natural swordsman, Byron looks at violence with indifference. If his hand is forced, then he will act. Though, as a member of the Jedi, he has been trained to leave violence to a last resort. By no means is he a pacifist, but he will most certainly not be the aggressor.
Really, Byron is a pleasant man to be around for the most part. He is polite, a natural conversationalist and a great listener. Having been raised in a familial environment on Lothal, Byron considers his close friends on Ajan Kloss his ‘second family’.
Speaking of family, Byron really does miss his. The burden of being a member of the Order and upholding its values constantly can be heavy at times. Particularly as his commitment to the Order grows and his time for communicating with his parents grows thinner and thinner.
Often, you will find him enjoying his own space, taking in the fresh air and watching younglings train, reminding himself of the incredible journey he has chosen to take. And one that he must continue.
- ABILITIES

Raised to be able to live on his own, Byron can look after himself effortlessly. He is domestically impervious and a great cook at that. The multicultural society of Lothal has given him the opportunity to learn a variety of interesting recipes that span across a multitude of species, courtesy of his mother.
This has also allowed him to latch onto a couple of languages. Most notably, he can understand Rodian and Ithorian. He cannot speak any language aside from Basic fluently, but can reply with common phrases.
Byron’s talents with a lightsaber are exquisite, especially for someone of his age. He is a master of the fifth form Djem So and is a vigorous practitioner of the seventh form, Vaapad, which he hopes to master. Regardless, he has exceptional knowledge of every lightsaber form and often holds training sessions for those eager to learn.
His talents with the force are still on the baseline of a Jedi Knight – he just isn’t exceptional. If he is forced into combat, his usage of force powers would be used to complement his lightsaber, rather than relying on it as others may do.

Byron’s equipment is pretty Jedi-standard. A deep-blue lightsaber, a typical utility belt and a datapad. He wears armoured robes. His ship is called The Valiant.
