Because I'm just now seeing the new posts about editing gear during fights, no, that is not allowed. Kinky didn't edit gear at all, but @Sabrina this is your official warning regarding that. In this case, the gear for this thread is listed in the opening post, so there won't be an infraction, but in the future gear should not be edited mid-PvP.

@Darasuum did not know, about that. I was just editing in gear I got, from promotion, as well as new freinds. Plus an edit for new armour, I had at the start of this thread.

It does not matter if you earn things in that time frame. Edits should not be made. You’ll have to wait until the end of the PvP thread before making edits of any kind, even if its a spelling error or a new picture. You will be considered using the same gear as at the start of the thread which was the marauder armor, coverage limited to head and arms if i remember correctly.

Edit: looks like phoenix said as much and looks like you had medium in your OP.

on the map are you skidding to the south east then?

also you had your SGB-1 out and bringing a light repeater around would probably take a second to do if you wanted to do that maneuver. Those things are big and wonky.

@Sabrina Your character is only nine to five meters away from Rayne's position during the attack which is aimed at your back. You aren't using force speed or anything super fast to move out of the way so it stands I don't think simply beginning to run is a viable way to avoid getting shot in the back by the 2nd blaster bolt.

To answer your questions @Darasuum I took a glancing blow to my helmet, and will be moving directly South to new cover. And yeah, he did switch weapons again.

It does not have to be him requesting the change. Logan is working and might not be able to respond for awhile.

Keep in mind that your character is level 1, not using any super fast manuever, is a very short distance away. Reyna's not a storm trooper that is just hip firing lol. It stands to reason that everybody who isn't an NPC can at least aim properly at that distance especially trained warriors.

Having a Rayne, Reyna and Radth all on the same team can be confusing. @-@

Hey is Reyna Solus crouch, prone or standing when she comes around the corner? I'm a little confused at her position as she fires on us?

2. I have Hask in between us both
3. I am smaller than Hask
4. According to your map, only my back would be visible

Any trained marksman can hit something that is moving, only when you are full tilt sprinting does that really make it difficult or if you use something like jet boots or something that gives you an abrupt speed boost. If you want to try and use force sprint I can understand that maybe but Reyna's skill should not be just easily dismissed because you simply aren't standing still. ranged weapons travel at 35 meters per second and for semi auto blasters they can fire 2 in 1 second. At best that is roughly a quarter of a second it takes for the bolt to reach your character if you are thinking the first is when she comes around the corner. The second will be less than that and more like .15 seconds.

Keep in mind, if Hask moves pretty much at all, then he won't be tanking the damage for you on that second blaster bolt.

also just so you know a "glancing blow" is still just another fancy way of saying getting hit. Your armor still takes the damage on the spot it connected and a repeated strike will do direct damage.

I'm not telling you that you can't get out of this. I'm just saying your post as written should maybe be reconsidered, whether an alternative, more effective defense to Reyna's attack (force sprint) or communicate with your team mates (though you are basically throwing one under the space bus by putting him between you and him)
