Star Wars Legacies: The Fifth Timeline

Yes, the moment you have all been waiting for has arrived. The five main faction leaders and one official independent faction leader have all been chosen. We had a lot of really great applications, and some of these were really tough decisions. In the end, though, we still needed to pick someone for each spot.

Let me just say first that if you haven't received a PM from me saying that we're offering you a faction leader position, your name won't be on the following list. Never fear, though! As I said when we first started the applications, we will be providing the names of those who applied but weren't chosen to the new faction leaders. We also have some very strong recommendations for #2 and #3 slots for some of the factions, so we'll be emphasizing that too.

Without further adieu, here are the new faction leaders:

• Galactic Alliance:: Radzkie
• New Jedi Order: Will
• The Empire:: Malon
• Mandalorians: Phil
• Chiss Ascendancy: Mars
• Imperial Knights: Nexus

Congratulations to the six new faction leaders!

Let me take a moment to explain the Imperial Knights decision, since I'm sure people will have questions about why Nexus (Sir Doomsday), an admin, is that faction leader. Counting Nexus, we had three really great applicants for Imperial Knights. It had nothing to do with not liking those who applied, nor did it have anything to do with just wanting to plop an admin into a slot.

The reasoning behind the Imperial Knights was because Nexus developed them for this timeline, he was the biggest champion of their inclusion in this timeline, and he was the one who came up with the official independent faction concept to begin with. So as this new timeline begins, we felt that the most logical choice to guide this official independent faction experiment was the person who came up with it.

Once again, even if you weren't selected, that doesn't mean you won't be appointed by the faction leaders to a high ranking position once they get your name. It also doesn't mean you have no chance of being a faction leader in this timeline -- three of these factions are ripe for forceful takeovers.
