When Nexus resigned as administrator, he also resigned as the leader of the Imperial Knights, our official independent faction in this timeline. Unfortunately a second and third in command were never chosen for the faction, so there’s no clear line of succession—meaning we’re opening up applications for being the leader of the Imperial Knights.
Although the Imperial Knights leader will have access to the Hall of Leaders board, the faction is not a main faction which means that as the leader you won’t have an orange name. Although you should never apply just to get an orange name, be forewarned that if you do then there is no orange name anyway.
The following is more or less the same application as from the beginning of the timeline, albeit amended to fit just the Imperial Knights:
Please note that preference will be given to members who are NOT currently in the top 3 leadership position slots in any of the other factions. If you are in the top 3 of one of the factions and you apply, please know that if you are chosen for Imperial Knights faction leader then you will have to resign from your other leadership position. We are not allowing anyone to have multiple top 3 leadership positions in multiple factions, and that includes all of the main factions and the Imperial Knights.
Additionally, while we did initially go with Nexus as the faction leader since the official independent faction concept was his idea so it made sense to have him spearhead it, we have no desire to choose an administrator for this position again. STRONG preference will be given to non-administrators, as we don’t want to choose ourselves. It's too much work to juggle both sets of responsibilities.
Applications for this will be accepted until 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Unlike administrator selection, there is no nomination process for faction leadership selection, just applications. The staff will then make the final selection based on the applications we receive.
Additionally, applications must be sent to me via Private Message. Applications sent via other means will not be accepted unless you make prior arrangements with me for it.
One of the priorities of the new Imperial Knights faction leader will have to be setting up a clear chain of command in the faction, that way we don’t have to do this again.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to post them here. Good luck to all who apply!

1. Why should you be chosen as the Imperial Knights faction leader?
2. What is your favorite Star Wars film? Hint: Attack of the Clones is punishable by death.
3. What experience do you have in terms of organization and management?
4. What will you bring to the position of faction leader that you feel will be a unique contribution?
5. What is your opinion on how to solve the American debt crisis?
6. What do you feel is your best RP? Why? Please provide a link.
7. If you were presented with a choice where you could either a) score a victory for your faction or b) make a concession for the faction that would allow the timeline as a whole to benefit, which would you choose? Please explain why.
8. In the fourth timeline, the following individuals were main faction leaders: Kupo/Kit (Republic), Mulluns/Phil (Hutts), Sheogorath (Bogan), Ruukil (Jedi), Jiang (Republic), Constantine/Kaeb (Hutts), Rev (Jedi), Adena (Republic), Santoro (Hutts), Brandon Rhea/Bac (Bogan), Sreeya (Jedi), and Ols (Bogan). Of these individuals, who do you feel did the best job and why? If you were not here for the fourth timeline, you may answer for the current timeline: Radzkie (Republic), Will (Jedi), Malon (Empire), Xenomorph (Empire), Mars (Chiss), Phil (Mandalorians), and Nexus (Imperial Knights).
9. What will you do differently than previous faction leaders?
10. Coke or Pepsi? If you choose Coke, please explain why. If you choose Pepsi, please explain why you hate America.
11. What do you feel will be your greatest strength as a faction leader? Why?
12. What do you feel will be your greatest weakness as a faction leader that you will have to remain mindful of? Why?
13. Leno or Conan? If Conan, pat yourself on the back. If Leno, then screw you Judas.
14. Why do you want to be the Imperial Knights faction leader?
