I don't think it's necessary. That being said, I also don't think your character has the right bio for ARES. That sub-faction, which is actually going to be shut down and folded into the Rebellion proper, is ex-Imperials. No idea how to IC get Xanthus to the Rebellion if that needs to be done IC. I'm up for ideas if it's necessary, or it could just happen 'offscreen' as long as it gets him from point A to point B. So..yeah...time for the ex-Sith Master to actually do stuff again.

Its... basically defunct, but only because the Rebellion is (supposed to be) being streamlined. So you can still have a spy, just sign up generally.
