BIOGRAPHY
One of the many kids that grew up without anyone in the streets of Nar Shaddaa, Zo’s life used to be one about stealing, scamming and, most of all, running away from bigger people than her that were pissed at her actions. She grew up as an urchin that eventually took part of a small gang, doing her best to earn money for the gang in exchange of protection as she grew up and doing a pretty good job at it, be it because her talent or the inner potential she had, being a force sensitive granting her a bit of an advantage over the other kids.
However, as much as she did questionable actions in order to survive, she was by no means someone that looked only after herself, at least not after she was inspired by some comics she stole about heroes and people with powers that changed stuff for the better and, eventually, joined the order without a second thought when her first jedi master found her.
Being someone that gave her all always, it didn’t took her long to become a jedi knight, always doing what she was told…usually, there were some problems there and there during her training, being a wild girl from Nar Shaddaa that didn’t really understand rules except the one about not being caught doing something that someone else doesn’t like.
But regardless of that, she became a jedi knight, and after that she immediately left the temple to do what she thought was right. Zo came back to Nar Shaddaa, her home planet and the armpit of the galaxy…There were many bad people in there, but there were also many that deserved someone to help them, so just like in her old comics, Zo tried having a double life, acting and working as a harmless smuggler in order to gain some inside knowledge in her day to day life…And then using that information as a masked jedi persona she would name “Phantasm”, meddling with gangs, thugs and helping out those that were in trouble.
Of course, with the sith once more becoming a threat to all the galaxy, Phantasm has found herself leaving the Hutt’s moon more and more often, the galaxy needed more peacekeepers, heroes and fighters, and turns out Zo wants to be all of them at once.
Personality
Zo is a happy-go lucky, optimistic, energetic kind of person, someone that likes to crack jokes, tease and find fun in every situation, no matter how grim things may be looking. She is also kind of a dork, fangirling over stuff and people that she deems cool and always trying her best to look cool as her Phantasm persona, something that she didn’t really need to create in the first place, but she did anyways because of the inspiration she took from her old comics.
Of course, being a dork doesn’t mean she isn’t sharp, Zo possesses plenty of street smarts, she knows how to charm and/or trick people in order to gain information or anything else she would need, she knows how to move around in dangerous planets such as the one she was raised in and she uses this to get in and out of dangerous situations, depending on what she wants to do at the moment. These skills she has acquired during her life have been of use both as Phantasm and as a smuggler.
When she is wielding her lightsaber as Phantasm, Zo acts quite differently, putting up a more serious façade, she is supposed to both look reliable to the people she helps and scary to the people she fights, so she becomes a no non-sense kind of person…even though she may act more like herself if someone catches her off guard or if she is talking to someone she trusts, which will probably happen more often than she would like.
