Zakrym La

Biography
Zakrym La was born on the planet of Shili. His Force sensitivity was discovered at the age of nine and by the age of ten he was given to the Jedi Order to be trained in their mystical arts. Zakrym, or Zak as he prefers, was trained by an Ithorian Jedi Master who taught him to be sensitive to the Will of the Force, to trust his instincts to guide him according to that Will. Upon achieving Knighthood, Zakrym, or Zak as he prefers, opted to avoid joining wars of aggression against the Sith. He viewed these actions as the Jedi taking bait the Sith had cleverly laid for them.
While Zak has joined with the Resistance, he attempts to operate in noncombat roles. Utilizing his skillset to offer support to his compatriots. This however, seldom goes as planned. Mostly, Zak chooses to travel the galaxy alongside his fellow nomadic Knight and Resistance member Rell Natallo, believing that the Force will guide him to where it needs him most.

Personality
Zak is a mellow and laid back guy. Often trying to act as a voice of reason in tense situations and usually preferring violence as a last resort as opposed to a first choice. While his ultimate goal is to maintain peace where it exists and avoid open conflict if possible, Zak is no true pacifist. He is able to recognize when peace is no longer or never was an option and will utilize force when necessary. Ultimately though, Zak follows the Will of the Force and allows for his actions to be conduit of it's desires. It doesn't matter if that means protecting the weak, negotiating a new deal between rival factions, establishing a new Jedi Enclave, aiding in the defense of a world against the Sith, or simply enjoying a drink with his companions in a dusty cantina. Zak always chooses to trust the Force to guide his path.
Abilities
Zak's Force talents primarily tend to lay with self augmentation and the use of telekinesis. However he is capable of influencing the minds of other sentient and non-sentient beings to a degree and is capable of hiding his presence in the Force. These are by no means the limits of his capabilities but just notable examples. In addition, Zak has opted to avoid utilizing blasters and tends to focus on blade work during confrontations, focusing on Jar'Kai or the use of a pair of Lightsaber blades. Finally, Zak has shown interest in technology, most notably slicing and has began to practice it as an armature but seeks to better himself in this new found interest.
