ZACTAR'S MODIFIED SENSHI COMBAT ARMOR
Zactar wears modified Senshi Combat Armor, opting to remove the helm as well as the armor on his saber arm for mobility. Rather than opting for an environmental suit that would be next to useless without a helm, Zactar has opted for an armorweave underlay. On his saber arm, there is a pouched band that sits about the bicep (instead of armor) in which he keeps a small rebreather.

LEGALITY
This armor is property of the Sith Empire. Usage by those who are not members of the Sith Order is illegal and will be punished accordingly.

INTENT
To represent the primary armor of my Sith character, Zactar Hakka. Because he only wears partial armor of the Senshi Combat Armor, it seemed worthy to differentiate it from the standard tech post.

Type and Coverage
Type: Medium
Coverage: Medium

  • Head: None
  • Torso: Full Duraplast plate
  • Back: None
  • Upper Arms: Duraplast plate (left arm only)
  • Lower Arms: Duraplast plate & gauntlet (left arm only)
  • Upper Legs: Duraplast plate (front only) empowers
  • Lower Legs: Duraplast plated boots

Functions

Function 1: Armorweave Underlay

  • Armorweave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons.
Function 2: CommLink / Voice Scrambler Gauntlet

  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
Function 3: Rebreather Armband

  • Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
Function 4: Unused

  • N/A
Function 5: Unused

  • N/A

Once again, this does not belong in Unapproved Tech. As this is essentially a cosmetic alteration of existing armor, this would go in Generic Tech. I shall move it for you.

Welcome to the boards! Also just a FYI, medium armor is max 5 coverage regions. Going into 6 pushes the armor into `Heavy` territory. And right now you have six listed.

You'll have to list it as Heavy armor, or delete a coverage area to keep as medium. Given the image, easiest solution to keep it medium may be remove the back armor.

Fair enough! Went ahead and removed the back coverage as suggested. Thank you 😊
