Your New Mandalore

Well fellow SWRP users, it is with great joy that I introduce your new Mandalore: me :CHappy

Santoro, the head slug himself, gave me the news last night and the go ahead to make this post today, so here we go.

As Mandalore expect a few changes around the Mandalorians soon. Namely some adjusting to the rank system (don't worry, you'll keep your rank) and the introduction of a few new things that I have cooked up for you all. Nothing drastic, just a few cosmetic things that will make us more efficient as a faction.


My character, Ge'tal, will be taking over as the IC Mandalore. I will post a link in this thread whenever I get his profile updated for the role.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions concerning the Mandalorians, don't be afraid to drop a message in my PM box and I'll get to you ASAP. I'm pretty active on these boards, so it won't be too hard to reach me.

How is the change in leadershi going to be handled IC? Will A'den have been kkilled, or stepped down willingly, or what?

I am currently in the process of figuring that out with the previous Mandalore. I hope to have details on that ASAP.

A'Den won't be killed- more likely he'll just fade out of command. Mars is welcome back to the Hutts once he gets tired of the Republic, so his character will be waiting safe and sound unless he prefer A'Den gets killed.

As soon as I get my mod powers in this board you can expect to see some of the changes I have planned. I have one more thing to do tonight before I can get on for an extended period of time; then I'll start considering all my options and seeing what I can get done without them.

Update on this situation;

Mars and I have decided that his Mandalore was forced out of leadership after being gravely wounded in battle, and thus, Ge'tal rose up and became Mandalore the Conquerer.

We should totally have Mars' dude jump out of the Dorin system using the busted nav relay and be 'lost', thus leading to the new Mandalore. That could leave the loophole open down the road, if he wants to come back, he could say that A'den crawled back into known space using sheer willpower and badassery (and by killing and eating the others onboard with him at the time).

Just sayin...woulda been kinda cool.

a quick question, are Taung ranks gunna continue to be closed, or are they opening up in the near future due to the new leader? (if we dont know its totally cool, i was thinking of making a mando thats all)

They are still closed

To be honest with you, I'm not entirely sure when they will open up again, or why they're closed, but I will ask this of Sano as soon as I can.

Right now, the best you can do is join the Hutt military as your Taung and do missions for them. That will allow you to transfer to the Mandalorians and then I can help you from there.
