@Mythos Since this is the first time you've dealt with this sort of thing I'll help you out. I probably won't make a habit of this. In the past people have just lost their gear because of this type of thing and had it be no more than dead weight for the rest of the thread at best and at worst it literally blows up in their face when they try to use it. So if you want to continue the thread with only your vibro knucklers that is absolutely fine. I'd assume they work similar to kyuzo petar for the most part.

• For armor a reskin of the space trooper armor can probably work. There may be better armor writeups though that fit more terrestrial combat.
• Sniper rifle could be reskinned to be DLT-20a for medium damage or the E-11s sniper rifle for heavy damage.
• Repeaters generally are not allowed in PvP which is usually mentioned in the "restrictions" section of their writeups. That being said you can say you used it against NPCs and maybe it ran out of ammo at some point. The Javelin light repeater is an ok one for that type of thing.

All that in mind if none of the existing writeups fit what you're looking for then making an original writeup is the best course of action in my opinion.

Well the edits were made yesterday at 10 PM and resulted in a completely different post. I’m hopeful I can post in time for original timeout still, but sure, I’ll formally request a 24h extension, considering the circumstances.

Requests for edits does not put a pause on the clock.

Generally also if one side involved in a fight posts it validates the other side's previous posts. Only when team mates are not directly involved in a shared fight does it not apply. I think an exception was made here to have Fantasy adjust their post despite Mythos having posted and making an attack against Dar'baal. It might be best for everyone on the Imperial side to communicate with one another so that you aren't continuing to post in front of one another in case there are future requests for edits.

I'm fine with an extension. Thank you for making it an actual request and not waiting until the time had already past and sneak your way around the time out rules. Mentioning you "might time out" is not a request. It is simply stating you know you will time out and refused to request an extension in spite of this.

@Xan Can you edit your post please or clarify how long Magnus is keeping the Houk in the air. Dar'baal is taking more time to be accurate with the latest two cannon shots. Meanwhile Magnus is injured in both his left leg and arm. He is holding a lightsaber which usually hampers someone's ability to use ranged force techniques. Furthermore a Houk is 2.2 meters tall on average and likely very heavy meaning that Magnus would have to focus to keep them in the air as a meat shield.

Communication and Compromise are the key foundations to a great co-authored story like this. We take as much as we give, we point out mistakes any of us make, we learn from said mistake, and we enjoy our story together. That is the purpose of this. If I mess up or time out, I expect you guys to point it out and we find a fair and just consequence and then move on to the next part. Edits kind of hinder the fairness and justification of the consequences for said mistake, and as such, should only be under mod approval or as a group agreement. In doing so, opposition should have a 24 hr respite to rework and discuss their strategem.

For simplicity, I edited the post. Magnus is essentially just holding the Houk where it died, focusing on holding its torso rather than full-body lifting it in the air. That being stated:

1) Magnus's arm has only taken minor damage, which I don't think would hamper his ability to hold something with the Force. Light cuts and some mild bruising at best, given that most of the damage from Kyp's rocket was absorbed by his cape.

2) As to the lightsaber, I could admittedly be wrong, but he is only wielding a singular blade which leaves his other hand free. I honestly do not believe that this would hamper his ability to used ranged force techniques like Force Grip, unless he was going dual-bladed.

3) This I legitimately did not account for, and so I changed what Magnus was attempting to do. Holding the Houk in place rather than attempting to throw it into the path of the oncoming fire.

I'm not the best authority to ask on force techniques. I've only recently started with my Sith this TL otherwise I mainly have been known to write Non Force Sensitives because its easier for me to understand without the space magick. Your post is good. I'm fine with it as is. Thanks for editing.
