NAME: Yossk
FACTION: Independent
RANK: Guard
SPECIES: Trandoshan
AGE: 29 Galactic Standard Years old
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 1.9 Meters
WEIGHT: 95 Kilos
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes, Trained

APPEARANCE:
Yossk is very much unlike his father, he is more on the short size of an average Trandoshan, he is thin like a typical Dosh, and he has green skintone. But what makes him unmistakable his father's son are his bright orange eyes. They look exactly like Rrodossk's: the color of a setting sun. His wardrobe is usually simple: a plain tunic, flowing trousers, and a shoulder cape on either arm. He is not much of a fan of too extravagant displays of decorative clothing, though there is one exception. His left horn has been pierced near the tip to house an ring not to dissimilar to how other species have earrings.

ATTRIBUTES:
Yossk is a Dosh, which means he is naturally quite strong, tough, and can regenerate lost limbs at a somewhat slow place. He mentally is rather tough especially after his Jedi training. He is also loyal to a fault, with the thought of him betraying anyone never crossing his own mind. Though, like most Dosh, he has a rather high view of himself and views defending his clan's pride as one of the greatest things he can do. He also has high standards, and if those are not met he will make sure they either know it or correct it. Though do not make him angry, while it is very hard to if he gets angry enough he can be launched into a rather cold rage. He was not always like this, but after he left the order he changed.

PERSONALITY:
Yossk used to be such a kind and excitable being, full of life and joy. He was excited to learn about other species beyond his own and wanted to visit any planet he could. He was quite different than most of his species, but after his mother's and sister's deaths all of that changed. Now Yossk does not speak much, as he usually is the one to simply listen to a conversation. He usually is also always pondering over how he can destroy someone or something if they are a potential threat. That's because he is always quite protective of his father. This loyalty seems to not be just surface level either, Yossk is so loyal to his father it may be written in his DNA. His focus is on his father and his clan, giving them honor in the eyes of the Scorekeeper.

BIOGRAPHY:
Yossk is the youngest of the three children of Rrodossk, and is the one one touch with the Force the most. Much like his father before him his mother had a vision of a dragon grasping at Dosh, holding in its claws. He bonded with his two older siblings, and while Yossk was still on Dosh the trio were inseparable. He was the closest to Toudossk, as the young male looked up to his older brother.

Roodossk knew his son was destined for greatness by the vision coinciding with his birth, and his parents saw promise with his force abilities as a young child. He voulenteered to go to the Jedi when he was young and train, growing ever stronger with the Force. He was like a sponge to water with his studies, learning everything he could with a decent pace. He was hoping to tackle the trials soon, he knew he could tackle them but he just wanted to be sure so trained hard for them.

His love for the Jedi changed when he heard reports that his sister was slain by a Jedi, though there were conflicting stories on why. Once he had heard of that, he left the order not out of hatred but to stay on good terms with his family. This put a strain between Rrodossk and Toudossk, though Yossk never knew why. His mother passed away soon after, which only Strained the relationship between the father and Toudossk even further. This resulted in Toudossk leaving on his own to find himself, which made Yossk absolutely despise him. To help heal their wounds, the family should have stayed together not break away from eachother. Toudossk abandoned them, and Yossk may be the one feeling the most hatred for his brother.

After the deaths and Toudossk leaving, Yossk changed. He once was a happy young Dosh, fully prepared for change and glad to find other cultures and learn about them. Now he has shut his old self away, and became like the other Trandoshans with an icy rage. He tasked himself to stay by and take care of his father, to ensure the clan's survival and their status remains. Now he was the successor of Rrodossk, the next in line to lead his clan. So he began to study military command and diplomacy, turning himself into not just a warrior but a leader. He has entwined his force abilities into his natural and newly learned skills to further progress himself in Trandoshan society, to lead his people into a new golden age.

SKILLS:
Yossk first and foremost is great with animals, and aiding this he has studied the force power Animal Bond. He also is rather adept at military and political command, having studied under his father to act as his successor. He is rather good at melee too, with both Form V of lightsaber dueling and traditional melee weapons. He has trained in Force Weapon, Force Speed, Force Enhancement, Force Sense, and Pyrokinesis to aid his melee prowess. He also is decent with blasters and is also a rather fair pilot. Along with all of these militarily minded skills, he also is rather adept at diplomacy, which is also helped with the Mental Manipulation force power. He also has studied Force Sustenance, Disable Droid, Dull Senses, Telepathy, and Telekinesis to round out his force skills.

GEAR:
Vibroknife
Yellow Lightsaber
BD-2 Electrostaff
DT-29 Heavy Blaster Pistol
SA-35 Heavy Blaster Rifle
Medium Armor

Force of Will is a restricted power only available from a specific holocron or from someone who knows it, per the lore article. Yossk can't have it.

He also doesn't give the impression of someone who could quickly advance in the Jedi, since he flies into blind rages and generally ascribes to Trandoshan culture/society. I'd suggest not making him an ex-Jedi at all.

Also keep in mind, being a fallen Jedi using the Dark Side puts him on a special list, and that advancing Force ability outside an order is severely limited.

Ok. I removed the abilites and changed the wording of his anger. Any other suggestions?

I think just changing the wording doesn't change the fact that the way he's described he would not have risen to knight, much less sooner than expected. You still have him "always pondering how to destroy someone". Not very Jedi like.

The entire point is that one event simply changed who he was as a being, and changed him from who he was to who he is

I assume that incident is the death of Toudossk? But you have him despising Toudossk just for leaving to find himself even before that, and his love for the jedi changes because he hears reports that a jedi might have killed his sister without actually investigating that further or trying to figure out why. Those aren't bad traits for a character to have, flaws are what make characters, but it just doesn't fit with him being a knight. A former padawan who leaves for these reasons and follows the path he takes, that works just fine. But doesn't fit with a knight.

Toudossk is the brother but true. Ill say he nearly became a knight but he left before the trial

Cool, just keep in mind that would limit his abilities to that of a padawan.

Unless he continued his own private training afterwards, but even then his raw force abilities wouldn't be as strong

As Tea mentioned above, independent force power growth is very limited.

Correct. Either way his force powers aren't meant to be his focus but more the martial combat. So this works still. If I'm correct all but like three or four are basic powers anyway
