EQUIPMENT

DESCRIPTION
The Xi-class light shuttle is a transport originally produced by Sienar-Jaemus Fleet Systems for the First Order military. Built with a compact, folding-wing design, the Xi was used primarily aboard First Order dreadnoughts as a shipboard launch, ferrying crew, cargo and personnel between ships in a fleet, or between a ship and a planet, moon or space station. Xi-class shuttles outlived the First Order, and some continue to see service, often with regional navies but also with private citizens. The remnants of Sienar-Jaemus continue to manufacture the type as well.

Xi-class shuttles are small, just 11.84 meters long, with a crew of 2 and a passenger capacity of 6. 10 tons of cargo and 2 weeks' worth of consumables can also be carried. Armament consists of 2 light laser cannons mounted in the wingtips, with a light deflector shield for defense. Top speed is 60 MGLT, with a class 2 hyperdrive.

LEGALITY
Legal. Shuttles such as the Xi are considered innocuous enough under most jurisdictions, and are not restricted in most systems.

INTENT
To create a small shuttle.
