[Defensive roll = 8] The bolt did glance Larr's shoulder, but it was his sheer luck that had frozen the Shistavanen in place. He had been wide open, defenseless, and yet the Bothan had missed him? He barely felt the impact on his shoulder, but it did distract him long enough to be be surprised by Husk charging and the Bothan hit him low, propelling his legs backwards and tilting him forward until his face colliding with the hard durasteel floor, "Umpf!" The Shistavanen's blaster skipped away from him and for a moment he lie motionless on his stomach.

Preef looked at the Bothan with a sharp disappointing look. He wasn't very pleased with the Bothan missing his shot at such an opportune moment and was blaming luck more than Husk's skill for the reason the Shistavanen was on the ground now. "Finish it," his sharp words cut through the air. Larr was defenseless, moaning on the ground with something of a concussion no doubt, but they had come to kill him and if that meant Husk had to cut the throat of a defenseless man then so be it.

Momentum and a lot of luck caused Larr to fall forward as Husks shouldered charge swept the feet from under him. The betrayer hit his head hard and his limp body splayed motionless on the durasteel floor, his blaster a reasonable length from reach. Husk Kra'Zaa Fenn gathered himself, standing to his feet with vibroblade and pistol still in hand. He slowly approached the Shistavanen, each step adding more weight to his shoulders. Suffice to say he was getting beyond in his years, and the Families recent string of inactivity had dulled his physical skills. It was a large leap to undertake the task of Hunting the former member, especially one who had established their foothold within the criminal underworld. Were it not for Preef and his quick draw the Bothan no doubt would be among the bodies on the ground. Husks skill set rested elsewhere and his approach would have been radically different. His methods took time though, and that was not a luxury afforded to them when they discovered Larrs location.

Husk stood above the betrayers body but the rise and fall of his torso indicated he was still among the living. Preef was obviously aggravated, and for good reason. He had been dragged into a conflict that occurred before his allegiance to the Zaa Fenn Family and had been injured in its execution. The old Bothan could feel the disappointment in his large dark eyes, but he was too fatigued to care. As instructed Husk raised the barrel of his blaster "Your death is a mercy, you traitorous dog. I'd sooner hang you from the trees of Kashyyk and watch you get devoured piece by piece while your remains are digested and finally shat out. The Zaa Fenn send their regards."

Dexterity Roll [33] - The Bothan dug his knee deep into Larrs back and rested his leg along the Shistavanens spine. He slid his blaster back into its holster before wrapping his right arm around the traitors chin, pulling his head up to expose the neck. With one clean motion he used the activated vibrodagger to slice a clean cut along the throat, its ultrasonic generator increasing the severity of the inflicted wound.

Preef watched with some satisfaction how Husk cut the Shistavanen's throat. The satisfaction felt weird, a bit morbid and darker than he was accustomed to. Murder was one thing, cutting the heads of the dead another... but execution? Preef guessed it was something he was supposed to be getting used to now.

"Good," he nodded and turned to the captive Twi'lek girls still shivering of fear in the corner. They knew how this worked; one criminal killed another to take them off their hands and the only thing that changed for them was the venue where they'd be dancing at. Taking his blaster from its holster again he slowly aimed it towards the chains, careful not to have his injury and the related trembling, mess up his shot. "You're free. Go back home." the bolt burned through the first girl's chains so she could free the others.. that was how far the rodian would go.

Guess that was that. Now he needed to get back to his own ship, fly to Eriadu and spend a week bacta-spraying and patching his left shoulder.
