Fear reigned over the nights of old, Children being taken from their slumber in the night by the dark ones they came to call the boogeymen. All had seemed lost for the families who could not afford the proper security or even just the smallest night light to shine through the darkness, stopping those that lurked within.
Until one dark day a fine fellow that went by the name Morris Michton had come up with a plan, A plan to help children feel safe at night. In 1902 the first teddy bear was created. A toy Intentionally created to help children feel safe at night, a toy created to make children feel untouchable by the darks ones. But what MR. Michton didn't know is, what he had created....would change history as we know it.
The campaign of terror was over. One dark and stormy night (ya bet you didn't see that one coming....not) a child had fallen asleep, safe and sound with her own bed Or so she thought. The Boogyman crept in, wrapping her up with its darkness, when all seemed over for the young girl the unexpected occurred. The love for her Teddy was strong enough to not only build just a bond, but a bond that would last a life time.
A faint beat could be heard, far out of the humans audible frequencies. But strong enough to slow the grasp from the dark one. To the Boogey mans surprise, before him stood teddy, strong and fearless. Ready to fend for his child at any cost.

The lightening clashed and the thunder roared, as the battle ensued. Crippling the Dark one, fleeing into the night. Safe and sound the young girl lay asleep.....unaware, and unafraid. The battle was over for now.....but only at a dire cost....Teddy lay protecting his child, battered and torn....slowly fading away....giving his all, the first but surely not the last.....Time goes on, things lost forever.

The odds where never in the teddys favor, until the following year. 1903, Peter Rabbit was born, with the same twisted fate that resulted in an unfaltering fellowship and unbreakable friendship. Fighting as one teddy and peter were able to fend off the dark ones and protect their little children from the boogeymen who came to claim them. Rising to fame within the toy industry, bears and rabbits grew in numbers strengthening their army.

With a broken heart you cry yourself to sleep.
*creak*
Your door gently opens, a faint pitter patter can be heard leaving your room, a gentle light luminating the hallway only to disappear into your brothers room. Your heart begins to race.....
The choice is yours....do you let curiosity over take you...or do you remain under your covers until the morning light, living your life as if nothing ever happened....
