It has been some time since the events on Dantooine. The Sith won, and who could've doubted the victory after seeing Darth Raze arrive on the battlefield. That is one Sith the Jedi will always cower to. Xeno was the lead attacker for the fight, but he had not left with the anything but the glory of leading a successful assault. Since then Xeno has been promoted to the rank of Sith Lord and now carries the name Darth Draugr instead of his given name. The Zabrak has only been successful since his promotion and looks to keep it that way. So now he makes sure his protege's are all ready to be the apprentice to a Sith Lord.

"Senin, Jade. You two will learn to fight as one. But also as individuals. I have confidence in the two of you, otherwise you would not have been chosen by me. We will start with individual training. First, Senin. You are smaller and quick. More adept to movement. You must use this to your advantage, especially against larger enemies. Speed is your friend, as well as the force."

Draugr would walk out to the center of the training grounds as he spoke. His Dathomirian accent filling the void of empty space around them and his walk was slow more methodical. As he reached the center he would turn back to his apprentices and would then point at each of them and then point to the sides of the training grounds. This was to indicate that he wanted them to stand on opposite sides of the arena.

"Jade you are larger much more strong. You must use the force to make you faster. Slow movement will only leave you with scars and prosthetic limbs. I know from experience. That being said, use your strength to the advantage as well. If you wrap up some small Jedi Padawan you could break a few limbs or ribs or necks before they can force you off of them. I have read on your race, and I am impressed. Use your bodies to your advantage."

As Draugr would leave the center by stepping backwards he would simply smirk as he continued to speak.

"Now the winner joins me on our next conquest. I will be watching closely."

The woman was confident in her prowess but was still wary of an unknown adversary. Jade had seen Senin a few times but was never one to pry. Thus she didn't know what he was fully capable of. It was for that reason she would not hold back, and also in an effort to display her own might in front of her master. She just hoped it wouldn't be too easy.

The wolf pelt cloak shook from her armored shoulders. It was important for her to still fight in her combat gear if she intended to use it on the front lines. Furthermore it would give her meeker opponent a handicap. The woman expected Senin to be more likely to die from this fight than for her to lose. But that just earned him a toothy grin with ivory tusks that matched Jade's alabaster skin.

"Don't hold back little clown. I won't." She would issue the warning once and hope he wasn't as delicate as he looked. The twohanded vibro-maul was almost 2 meters in length and its head was nearly the size of Senin's chest. If it connected with any part of his body he would be in bacta tank for weeks. Then again, either of them could easily lose a limb in a fight like this.

Darth Draugr's words had not fallen on deaf ears. The scared Orcolan had years of battle experience but was limited in her skill with the Dark Side. The more mystical and abstract techniques were still difficult for her to grasp. But she excelled in the parts where she could enhance her own physical body. Her reach with the force was essentially limited to only a ten meter radius around her. But Senin didn't need to know that. The orc's malevolent gaze paced around the open fighting ground where they were to spar and hefted her maul over one shoulder while the force built up in the muscles and tendons in her body. The dirt and dust near the ankles of the armored acolyte began to rise only a few millimeters of the ground, indicating somewhat of what was going on.

Even though it's been a long time since his disastrous fight with the Padawan during the Battle of Dantooine, Senin still hasn't recovered from what happened. That damned Echani had nearly destroyed his marvellous face. However, the worst part was that he feared that Xeno was going to replace him.

Since the Zabrak became a Sith Lord, the G’weneen became afraid that he would find another acolyte. His fears became true when Draugr appeared with an Orcolan called Jade. Senin and her never interacted too much before, but now they were together in Dathomir for one of Xeno’s training sessions.

Since he arrived on the planet, the young man hadn’t uttered one word. He only paid attention to what his Master was explaining and thought about what happened in Dantooine and what he should do to avoid it happening again.

The Acolyte paid close attention to his Master’s explanations. The Zabrak was right, Senin was agile and he should use it to his advantage. While Xeno talked about Jade, the young man looked at her. He would show to Xeno that he was still worthy of being a good Acolyte, even if he needed to kill her in the process.

As his Master had pointed, Senin walked to the other side of the arena. He wasn’t surprised that the Zabrak wanted them to fight against each other. They were the Sith, only the strongest remain. Like a bunch of animals.

In another time, Senin would have made some snarky comments when Jade called him a clown, but this time he didn’t react. He wondered if she was saying it only because he was wearing makeup and his hair was dyed white. The Acolyte had learned in Dantooine that sometimes mocking his foe didn’t work, so he decided to not react to her attempts.

He would pick his lightsaber from the belt and activate it. Rather than running toward the Orcolan, Senin decided to wait for her to come at him. He gathered the Force around himself, for the case of Jade deciding to attack him this way. Then he waited for her to do the first move.

It looked like neither of the two Acolytes were willing to start the fight. Both were looking to play the defensive and adjust to the attackers fighting style. Unfortunately that meant that both were refusing to attack. It was annoying to watch. Yes, Draugr appreciated they knew enough about combat to play safe, but if it were going to be only safe plays the Sith Lord would need to do something about it soon.

"Slow starts are boring."

He would reach out through the force and grasp the torso of both of his apprentices and then fling them both forward, toward one another. As soon as the grip would be released he would continue to watch on as they would inevitably begin their training.

"Defense is only good when there is an attacker, in this instance.. you both will be the attacker."

Hopefully his apprentices will build up a strength within them to impress him now. The next mission will bring glory to the participants, but only if they were there. With room for one more Draugr plans for one of his students to tag along. Senin was beaten quickly on Dantooine, now was his chance to prove himself better. As for Jade she must show her master that she is worth keeping around. This training was the exact thing they both needed.

Jade did not have a lot of information when it came to other Sith and the Dark Side. Senin was also an acolyte but he was an apprentice to the Darth Draugr and perhaps knew more about the Force than she did. Jade had heard a little about what had happened on Dantooine but the details were still unclear. With what limited knowledge she knew about her peer, the Orcolan would do her best to extrapolate his shortcomings. One didn't need the force to notice a person's insecurities and in this case Senin seemed to lack the confidence in his own abilities that Jade possessed. However this would be the first time she would have crossed blades with another lightsaber wielder. Everything before this had been strictly training and lacked real stakes.

Jade had more than just strength and experience on her side. She also had reach. She knew lightsabers could have extended blades for personal choices and could see his reach and know he would have a hard time against her. Jade had over thirty centimeters in height and reach on the young man who faced her. She wondered if he had the skill or will to get in close.

The acolyte had fought larger enemies before and hunted dangerous prey. Taking one step forward followed by a second and then a third. It would only take three long zig zag jaunts for the Orc to close the distance. Senin was not someone who needed to be targeted with extra strength. Darth Draugr was right and she needed to focus on her speed otherwise she wouldn't land a hit. Numerous shallow cuts could be just as deadly as a single mighty smash. But whether or not her opponent would be able to get that far waited to be seen.

The force speed would hopefully afford her some agility against targeted ranged attacks. Darth Draugr's grip would possibly take hold of Senin but Jade would already be moving at high speed before Draugr held her. She had chosen to stand at a distance and kept on her heavy armor for a reason. If the Sith Lord wanted to put in the effort to lift her mass along with Senin instead of letting them accomplish their own fight she would not feel quite as satisified.

Provided she made it close she would roar with effort as she swung her black vibro-mace from her left to her right at the height of Senin's chest. "Rah!" Just the spiked tip would risk raking his chest if he didn't move or block it as Jade came within the edge of her melee range. It was more meant to be keep him from getting closer to her and instead put Senin on the back foot.

The other end of the immense heavy vibro mace would come around to follow with the handle's pommel should he try to capitalize on thinking she would be off balance. A brutish grunt would follow the attempted strike. "Hha!" Having practiced with the weapon and possessing considerable muscle, the weight of the normally unwieldy weapon would be surprisingly nimble in the pale hands of the violent acolyte but still not as easy to swing as a lightsaber. One direct hit from the vibro-maces head would probably crumple a B2 super battle droid chassis in one swing, let alone two.

While Senin waited for Jade to move against him, he wondered if the Zabrak was really thinking about replacing him. His performance was really abysmal, but he didn’t expect that he would find a replacement so soon. Well, he was still going to show Xeno that he was a better apprentice and perhaps even kill the Orcolarn in the process.

Then he felt Xeno use the Force to hold his body. Since he had gathered it around his body to defend against Jade’s possible attacks, the Zabrak would have more effort to hold him, needing to pass through his defence before having him secure in his grip.

The Acolyte also felt that his Master was also doing it with Jade, who was now being moved toward him. Senin knew that in a close fight where their strength would be tested he had no chance against the Orcolan. He decided that his best chance would be to try a Force attack.

He gathered the Force at his hand and let himself be flung against Jade. When they were close, Senin would unleash a powerful Force push against the Orcolan. He channeled in it all the frustration and hate that he felt when he fought against the Echani padawan. If she wasn’t prepared to protect herself against a Force attack, it would throw her away from him.

If his attack was enough to throw her off balance or to make her fall, Senin would move fast against Jade. Without any scream or grunt, he would move his lightsaber as if he was going to cut off her right arm. However, it would only be a feint. If she moved her vibro-blade to block his attack and protect her arm, the G’weneen would change the trajectory of his blade to make it target her right leg.

However, if his Force push is ineffective and wasn’t enough to open a space between them, Senin would use his agility to evade Jade’s attacks. Before she could bring down her vibro-mace against him, the Acolyte would use the Force to jump away from her and wait for her next move.

As the two had went towards each and the training started, Draugr stood by watching and studying. The two have strengths and weaknesses and as a master does, he watches and learns their strengths and weaknesses in case they get any bright ideas to commit treason against their master. It is tradition but it is also not going to happen if Draugr can help it.

"Good, now we are having fun."

/short post I know. Don't much else to write as he is just watching at this point.
