Frontline Industries. Starting off slow and keeping a low profile, it was a small weapons designer and manufacturer. First it began by knowing what it was that people wanted in a Blaster Rifle or Pistol; acquiring this data was easy, a simple survey on the Republic Navy got us some info, after which we began to design and manufacture them. After the first month, there were already small deliveries to be made. With time, business began to expand and space pirates became a problem within the first few years. It was easily solved; hiring a handful of mercenaries and giving them access to experimental technology, they agreed to help out. It was helpful, since not just anyone was hired; they were almost hand-picked.
With new technologies and weapons getting out, they needed field testing. Spaceships from Fighters to Carriers were developed too, and as such, a new business opportunity came along: Exploring new systems. For anyone interested, Frontline Industries offer a vast array of jobs, from pilot, to ground test unit and to researcher. Hell, there are even a few… less widely known jobs available, for anyone interested.
Fundings
In an agreement with the government of Bentraal IV it has been established that Frontline Industries will provide weapons, vehicles and technology asking only a stable income and signing Frontlines Industry as owner of a private army for defensive purposes and whichever missions it required to undergo; despite Kraton Rowan being the rightful leader of the Army, the agreement states that Frontline Industries are required to assist Brentaal IV's own security forces and army whenever needs arises. Business also allows income, thus it is possible to do research and the likes all the while maintaining the company’s counts positive. Small contracts from the outside are also accepted when it is not required to stir outside the law, and sometimes even outside the law can be arranged, though Bentraal IV’s government has never poked around hard enough to find most of Kraton’s shady business.
Forces
Frontline Industries possesses a wide array of resources: men and women in the most various branches of expertise: pilots, soldiers, scientists, spies… our current forces are just about those of a small private army: 200 foot soldiers, 30 pilots, 10 scientists. There are no spies whatsoever (only about 10 of them).
Ground Vehicles
While on the ground, Frontline Industries has access and gives access to fine vehicles. Despite not possessing levitating motors and relying on wheels to move, the 50 available Warthogs are quite the asset; able to rely on four independent suspensions to go all-terrain or locking axis for stability, it provides moderate speed [approximately 100MPH] when compared with other vehicles such as speeders, and is fit with a wide trunk, allowing up to 200kg to be carried. There are also the Tanks, 10 of them, which provide heavy support against light and heavy infantry. A tough hide, front mounted blaster turrets and a powerful top mounted canon, it's surely a vehicle equipped to take it all on.
Both the Warthogs and Tanks are available for purchase.
Air/Space Forces
For business to flourish, space treading is required. As such, Frontline Industries possesses a small fleet of it's own. Two large cargo ships, one Heavy Cruiser prototype currently undergoing tests, modifications and improvements, ten Fighters divided into two squads of five; one with the Heavy Cruiser, and the other which travels to accompany the company's STAFF Executive] Ship.
Achievements
Through the years, there have been many achievements checked in our Things To Do list. Here are a few.
Military
With all that could be done, weapons developing was always something we strived for. While not the most advanced, our weapons secure safe use by balancing power with range and stability; of course, we cannot secure whoever’s being shot at. Our vehicles are fast and resilient, able to endure certain levels of punishment without dropping performance. Our ships, while still relying on hyperdrive beacons, are equipped with cutting edge motors, armament and shielding, allowing a safe trip through space without fearing space pirates.
Space Conquest
One of our objectives was always to know more. As such, we have small teams travelling the known galaxy with one objective: going into the unknown parts of the galaxy! Updating maps is one of our objectives, allowing us to provide fool-proof maps to anyone who wills it. New plants keep popping up, with new horizons ready to be explored. We’re just making up our share of adventure.
Safety
Do we really need to explain this? Ever since the foundation of Frontline Industries, we ourselves have been targets of pirating. With our advancements, pirating has become more and more of a greater risk to whoever’s on the other ship, thanks to Frontline Industries army, serving at Brentaal IV, but able to mobilize anywhere in this galaxy. Our scientists research ways have helped the new hyperdrive systems, allowing faster and more direct traveling without the need to resort to hyperdrive beacons; however, it's still taking its first steps within the Galaxy, not being the kind of technology seen in your average ship.
