Weiss's father had an idea of his son following his footsteps and becoming a field general and emphasized on developing the boy's strategic thinking, frequently engaging him in chess and exposing him to educational history holovids of old battles. Much to the parents delight Weiss turned out to be a child prodigy, easily getting a hand of anything he was pushed into whether it was on the cerebral or physical side. Weiss's father had friends in many different circles and one of those included a Jedi. During one of the man's visits to the Zano household the Jedi discovered Weiss's Force sensitivity, though the visit was most likely intentional since his father was aware of Weiss's mother's Force sensitivity and wanted to see if Weiss did indeed inherit it.
Holding a great deal of respect for the Jedi order as dipolomats and warriors Weiss's father quickly changed the plans for his son from becoming a field general to being initiated into the Jedi order. A year had passed with his father and mother focusing more on Weiss's physical and emotional preparation for the Jedi council before he was finally admitted at the age of 10.
A trend that followed Weiss's whole life continued as he was quickly adapting and improving within the Jedi Order. During his younger years most of his masters were impressed by the degree of discipline, hard work and focus he would show, no doubt a trait that stayed with him due to his upbringings. Naturally gifted and physically pushed from such an early age even before the admittance to the Order Weiss out shined most of his peers that were around the same age or were admited at the same time as he was. His record of excellence and the reputation of a prodigy among his peers and masters within the temple he was housed in kept growing even more during his adolescent years. As Weiss hit puberty things changed, the boy went through a massive growth spur and towered above even those considered tall for his kind. But more importantly his mentality also changed...
Years of praise and taking on any padawan tasks assigned to him with ease went to his head and he had developed a significant degree of arrogance. Though mostly due to his stoic, loner attitude not many of his peers noticed this but his masters surely did. Trying to warn the boy of his mistakes early on did little to no good as even as Weiss nodded and fully accepted the reprimandations of his masters they were just empty words to him as in reality he was still not challenged by anyone or anything. With time though advancement into knighthood and taking on more dangerous field tasks resulted in Weiss being humbled and brought down a notch many times and although these served as a way to hinder his arrogance just enough so it didn't become toxic and dangerous there was still a great degree of it left and a long way to go for the white haired boy if he is to remain on the right path.

Arrogant to a high degree and extremely overconfident in his own abilities - would be the white haired youth's biggest hindrance and though not one to openly put others down this kind of mindset was what got him into most of the troubles and even almost cost him his life during a mission. Even after spending so much time with the Jedi Weiss still doesn't have anyone to actually consider a true friend. Even before his arrogance skyrocketed, many of the padawans viewed him either as strange or with a degree of reverence or jealousy because of the boy's quick advancements and constant praise by the masters. Those who didn't share these views and tried to engage him in conversations quickly gave up considering the stoic young boy either conceited or just plain boring.
Appearance
Due to the mixed nature of his genetics with him being half Hapan Weiss possesses a sort of a striking beauty even for a male and more importantly does not have trouble seeing in the dark like your usual Hapan would, instead being adjusted to seeing in darkness as well as any other human. The most notable thing besides the young man's striking facial features is without a doubt his massive height, standing at 2 meters tall after a sudden growth spur during his teenage years.
Skills and abilities
Alongside his Jedi training the only other thing Weiss was trained in was piloting, as a number of masters as well as his parents geared the boy toward focusing more on Jedi arts and practices than stuff like engineering, slicing and such. Since joining the order at the age of 10 Weiss was trained in the fifth form of lightsaber combat, Djem So, and would continue to study and develop it before adopting another style in his adolescent years. The style he decided on was Form II Makashi, known as a pure dueling form Makashi focused on precise blade work combined with refined foot work and was all about out dueling the enemy and using the power behind their blows for yourself. With years of training he has become proficient enough with the two forms to be able to change his styles on the fly and incorporate the principles of Makashi's footwork into his Djem So counters in an attempt to compensate for the Djem So's occasional rigidness and lack of mobility.
After going through a massive growth spur during puberty Weiss was forced (or simply chose) to repurpose his weapon, building a new lightsaber from the scratch. His new weapon consisted of a notably larger hilt and a significantly longer blade. This combined with his height and strength gave him a greater reach and garnered him even more advantage over his peers in the temple, allowing the boy to utilize power strikes as precise blade work from a 'safe distance'.
In terms of Force abilities Telekinesis seemed to be Weiss's bread and butter with most of his training being garnered towards it. He has shown using powerful thrusts of telekinetic energies but is more geared toward magnitude than precision with his usage. Essentially Weiss is a duelist primarely and a Force wielder secondly, and though noted to have a strong connection to the Force he was only observed implementing it as a supplementary ability, whether by throwing his opponents, hurling objects at them or augmenting his own attributes with it.
