Greetings, fellow Imperial Knights,
As announced here, I have been instated by the staff as faction leader of the Imperial Knights. With the transition of regime, as shown with the Empire, there is great work needed to be accomplished. Throughout this week, I will be busy working on the Imperial Knights forums (for the record, in case I do use it anywhere, I occasionally use "Impies" or "IK" as short-hand for the Imperial Knights, though this is for your record if I use this in communication outside normal postings, i.e. MSN or PMs). When lieutenants are chosen, things should be quicker; however, note that we will try to focus on quality, rather than quantity, so please be understanding if we do not address a concern when brought forth, but please do not take this as a sign that we do not want them. On the contrary, evaluations, concerns, questions, requests, conversing allows to facilitate better relations between us between faction leader and faction members, so please, if you have anything you need to bring up, please PM me; MSN works, but does not allow me to record it for archival and listing purposes. If it appears that I am not getting back to you in regards to a message, please do not be afraid to resend the message. I would rather be swamped with duplicate messages than accidentally miss a message from one of my fellow members.
As with all factions, people occasionally lose interest in either a faction or the site entirely, thus characters remain listed in the roster who longer are of active status. Please participate in the roll call here, if you are an Imperial Knight. Please note that this roll call will be in effect for the duration of the month, ending on October 1st. Any member who has yet to notify their continued participation and activity in the Imperial Knights will have their listing in the roster highlighted with a color that will be decided later, as to indicate possibly membership. If a person wishes to retire an Imperial Knight who has not died, please let me know and it will be noted in the roster, as part of archival purposes. There will be an added roster for deceased members for archival purposes; if someone has already retired or have an Imperial Knight die, please let me know, so that they may be added to the second list; members who have left the Imperial Knights of their own jurisdiction will also be added to this list, though with a note of status.
In regards to faction lieutenants, hopefully they'll be chosen and instated within this week, though there is no guarantee; better to take time to assess and evaluate than to rush things. I have been given the list of those whom had applied for faction leader of this great faction. These applicants will be among the candidates to be considered for faction lieutenants. Others may notify me of willingness to take on the position of faction lieutenant; while there is no guarantee of candidacy, there is no harm in applying and may later be used to be evaluative information for positions in the future. More information about these positions, and others, will be posted in a more informative presentation later on.
It has been inquired about the status of the Imperial Knights fleet. As the Imperial Knights fled the Empire, all they would have is what they brought with them. They may have a few ships, like with the Imperial Rebels, but nothing in comparison to the Empire and Galactic Alliance. Do remember that the Imperial Knights are just a band of 1,000 individuals, give or take. For the time being, the Sith's Folly will not be mobile, and thus a mobile secondary base may be established in the future. Jiang, Radzkie, and I will be working alongside each other to establish relations and cooperation between the Imperial Knights and Imperial Rebels, so the Imperial Rebels' fleet may assist us, but do not fall under our direct jurisdiction.
Moreover, Jiang, Radzkie, and I hope to foster good relations between the Imperial Knights and Imperial Rebels. ICly, the Imperial Knights support the Rebels decision. Imperial Rebels may be allowed to dually-member in both the Imperial Knights and Imperial Rebels, but that is up to the jurisdiction of the Rebels' leader, Jiang, or the Galactic Alliance's leader, Radzkie. If a Rebel is Force Sensitive, please speak with Jiang or Radzkie as to decide if your character should pursue Force training, whether from the Imperial Knights or Jedi. The Imperial Knights will be willing to accept Force Sensitive Imperial Rebels into our ranks, though we stress getting permission from the two Rebel leaders.
In regards to training, training will take place on the Sith's Folly, though an additional training ground may be added. If anyone has ideas for an additional training ground or regular hideout/base, either post your suggestion in the the OOC discussion board or PM me. Training guidelines will be developed soon.
Information regarding to Peller, former Knight-Commander, will be posted later. I do appreciate your patience in regards to this matter, and others.
If I have missed anything, please feel free to let me know. I wish to herald this faction into a new dawn, a dawn of new bonds, activity, and enjoyability. Remember, this will not be a faction of drones. This will be a faction of individuals striving for a single purpose. Do not hide behind anonymity and peonitivity (this is SWRP, we can make new words, right?). Express yourselves. We cannot help you if you remain hidden behind a veil of silence.
