What is going to happen in your plot?
Flynn and his new-found allies are going to kick in the teeth of a group of slavers for a multitude of reasons. Firstly that they're slavers and some members of the party object to this on principle. Secondly, and most importantly for Flynn, is that slavers carry credits around and lovely little goodies that most people can't usually get their hands on.

Oh and some slaves will be freed of course. This will not be the end of this merry little band of slavers however.

What other writers (and their characters) will be a part of this?

Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. Include opposition type for each thread:
[*]Getting the Band Together - The group need to actually come to terms with what they are actually going to be doing and that means a planning session is in order. Of course having basically announced their plans to a whole cantina, a few local agents of the slavers in question rudely decide to interrupt their oh-so productive party planning session. Dice.

[*]All Aboard - The slavers, being an industrious lot, have one of their main bases on the planet of Tatooine in what used to be a prosperous (For Tatooine) moisture farming community that had a magrail link to true centres. To try and get the jump on the slavers at the station at the end of the line, the gang will attempt to stealthily takeover the train. Dice.

[*]End of the Line - Regardless of the success or failure of the stealthy approach, the train comes into the station and the gang needs to take out the slavers currently holed up in the old moisture farming community-turned slave pen. If stealth has failed then the number of opposition will be doubled and a minor negative will be added to the first two combat rolls for each character. Dice.

[*]A Mad Scramble - Last step is using their ships to provide support/cover to the escaping slaves as some of the slavers return in ships of their own. The slavers need to be dealt with on a local level before the loot can be taken. Dice.

What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game?” Link any items you’re seeking if applicable.
Main priority is to get the group working together.
Second priority is ship for Flynn and his allies.

Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.

Why does your character want to oppose this thread/plot?
He hired the slavers to acquire slaves to dig up an ancient Czerka outpost believed to host ancient Sith artifacts. Having heard about the intentions of the party from his agents in the cantina (first thread), he and other members of the Sith Eternal step in to defend their interests.
How does your character intend to interrupt the events of the thread/plot?
Having discovered the party's intentions, Melkor and his fellow cultists elect to stop them and are waiting for them when they arrive at the station aboard the train.
What do you or your character hope to achieve with this interruption?
To prevent the slaving operations on Tatooine from being infringed upon and disrupted.

We're okay with PvP death-disabled. It's the beginning of the TL — just wanting to have a bit of fun.

Moving this to the tech plot section as it seems more appropriate. Given the group and since it seems like everyone is an agreement, the opposition is fine with me, though I might suggest breaking the fight up into two separate groups as a nine-person thread is a bit heavy but I will leave that up to yall.

Let me know when you have added the characters and requested tech rewards.

@Nefieslab I like the plot as is mostly. Keep in mind that regardless of the success of stealth there should be a negative affect if the arrival is anything but covert. The chain of events should impact one another so I don't want to see these threads being done simultaniously.

I will say that everyone will NOT be getting their own tech reward. I would say that it is fine for a second person getting a 1-3 piece of AT or if you want just add an upgrade for the ship into the tech plot but 4 different people getting their own piece of tech for the current plot doesn't seem appropriate.

You can make the plot longer if you want to other people to get something out of it. You could increase difficulty as well. However the only thread that makes sense to be open/pvp at the moment would be the "All Aboard" thread. Everything else doesn't make sense being open/pvp. Also with 5 people being in one thread, any opposition that shows up would make for a difficult to navigate thread. 5v5 doesn't sound appealing for me personally.

I'm afraid none of my group wants a pvp since we are currently at the point of our character journeys (read: day one) where none of our characters would fight for each other and all of them would attempt to screw the strangers over which runs entirely counter to the point of this plot which is to be their origin as a team. Sorry but maybe in the future and definitely not as a 5v5 clusterkark xD

So I want to clarify a couple of things, since this seems like one of those "change the mentality" moments that the staff are looking to put in place.

1. To address the "PvP clusterkark" this is where the changes in PvP are coming in. If you haven't read the new rules, you should because it's not going to be like a last TL PvP thread. Additionally, "resistance" doesn't always mean direct PvP. It certainly could be PvP (though even using the word PvP brings with it a slew of connotations that I want to get away from) but there are other ways to interfere as well.

2. I've got to be honest, declining opposition is going to require very good reasons for why that's being done. "We won't work together" isn't really a good reason. You're able to work together when confronting a huge group of NPC slavers but not when a couple PCs show up? That's an extremely meta reason not to have opposition, and only further proves the point that this plot would fail if the "team" scatters at the first sign of opposition.

3. Another change in mentality: if you really would scatter at the first sign of conflict, that's another story opportunity. The idea that every plot will always succeed doesn't make a good story. Overcoming failure of all types is part of what makes a good character. Plots should be about storytelling not just "I want X" and busting out some words to justify it.

With the interruption being agreed to be death disabled we're good to continue with the interruption happening during thread 2 (all aboard) but I think we need to wait anyway for the final word due to the tech plot stoppage for now right?
