Set after this Holonet broadcast
Open to all Jedi
The Catspaw burned through the atmosphere of Ajan Kloss, shields flaring in response to the heat as Hannibal angled towards the temple's landing area. He'd flown to the planet directly from Nar Shaddaa after the Holonet broadcast, but enough time had passed to allow calming and recentering. He was a Jedi Knight after all, he knew how to handle his own emotions by now. The ship touched down, and not two minutes later Hannibal came walking out with long, quick strides. He'd managed to change out of his typical sort of attire on the flight over, now dressed in proper robes he hadn't worn since his he was knighted, lightsaber in plain view clipped to his belt. Those who knew of the loud-mouthed knight might find that surprising enough, but what really drew notice was a slightly more important detail.

He wasn't smiling. Not a single hint of his usual smirk adorned his face. If anything the young man looked serious and determined as he stalked the halls of the temple, firmly and coolly speaking to any and all Jedi he could find and pushing them to gather in one of the larger area of the temple, to spread the word to others. He used his ship's comms to briefly message any of the Jedi he'd personally met and got a code from as well, asking them to the meeting, as well as calling ahead to the temple itself. Anyone with a holonet connection had probably seen the broadcast as well, the place was buzzing with the news. War had been declared openly against the Rangers and the Jedi, and some confusion regarding how to handle the situation was expected. But the Jedi had work to do.

Finally making his way to the gathering area, Hannibal found himself a seat and planted himself in it, sharp eyes looking around the room as people showed up. Idly he remembered the last time there'd been a major gathering, called into existence by now-Master Oren regarding a situation Hannibal had seemed to treat as not that serious. At the time they'd only seen the slaughter of Hutts and vicious criminals. This time, Rangers and police officers alike had been mercilessly butchered solely for the sake of calling out those who hunted the darksiders, something even Hannibal was forced to take seriously. The killing of good and innocent people would not, and could not, be overlooked.

He had quite a bit to say on the matter, but it wouldn't do much good until people had finished gathering. There was no small amount of bemusement from some at the mere concept of Hannibal being the one to call a gathering, but at least it would get their attention. He found himself standing again in front of his chair, arms crossed in front of him, watching each and every Jedi that showed up move into the room. He thought back to his teachers while he waited, going over the Jedi code.

A Jedi's first priority was the preservation of life. People were being slaughtered practically in the streets. It was time to act. If nothing else, of this he was certain.

What was supposed to be a peaceful time where he could train his Padawan had gone up in flames. Felix had only been on the planet for a few days as he caught up on current happenings toured the temples and meditated. He felt like he was constantly being thrusted too and fro from one thing to the next. Still it was nice as Ajan Kloss felt like a place of peace where one could just fade away and from the galaxy at turmoil in one way or another and he could just focus on being here. Except that didn't happen. It's odd the way word and emotion could spread and the air around it could change in an instant. That happened as it tipped off to Felix that something was wrong. Then he saw the broadcast. A live execution all done to make a point. He winced as he saw a needless waste of life unfold. All to say that war had been declared.

With it soon came a message from a knight he had yet the pleasure of working with. Assemble. Needless to say he was now in the grand chamber that Hannibal had selected sitting in a chair and twiddling his thumbs out of anxiety. Hoping that in this trying time he could the order merge into an order of decision. He heard that the last meeting had gotten heated but he wasn't witness. That didn't matter.

He sent out word to his Padawan of the meeting though with it was also the message that he wouldn't hold it against her if she decided against attending. This was a pretty dire set of events and sometimes people needed to cope with it their own ways. Still he mind was sadly blank trying to figure out the right solution for this problem. He needed to think this over so he resided to staying silent at first until he could come up with what he thought would be best. After all what was needed was not a bunch of mindless voices talking over each other, but a sound chamber of thoughts that blend and mix and form a unified chorus.

Izel silently took her place in the meeting area, standing back to allow the more experienced Knights to speak first. She had been hoping the Order would take more action for a while now, and while the events she had just witnessed on the holonet were indeed horrible, at the very least they may finally spur a more serious response.

She herself wanted to do more to help, after spending too much time on Ajan Kloss meditating and studying. Hopefully this meeting would come with an opportunity for her to take action against the Sith. She wasn't exactly eager to face the ancient enemies of the Jedi, but she was ready to do her part for the Order and the galaxy at large. Keeping that in mind the Padawan took a deep breath and tried to calm herself, immersing herself in the planning.

Nara entered the room with a little bit of disquiet. She didn't need to think long to remember what happened the last time she'd been in one of these meetings. Even the thought of it made her blush, even though she still felt she'd been right all along. The temptation had been to just ignore it, let the others fight and argue and debate it out. She had other things to be doing. She might have done that, if it wasn't for the fact that Hanninal was calling the meeting. A surprise in itself, he wasn't one typically for authority and power structures. But he'd been helping to train her since Oren had been arrested before and Nara felt she owed him a lot of support, at the very least.

That was how the slightly older, slightly wiser, slightly less-angry Nara came into the meeting. She'd heard the rumours floating around the temple. A vow from a mysterious murderer to hunt down and fight the Rangers and the Jedi. A call to action if ever she heard one. She just hoped others would feel the same.

She saw Izel, a friend she'd known for a while, and moved closer to her, taking a place there. She smiled at her and nodded as they both waited.

"Hey."

Another meeting, another day.

She had yet to meet one of the council, and yet they sanctioned the Order to meet when others called. Sometimes, the old cat wondered if they had any clout within the Order at all... and if having ambition to change their ways to adapt with the rest of the galaxy was not the Jedi way. Not that it mattered, at the moment she had just come from the showers shortly after landing. They expected her to be ready at a moments' notice, and she could do that, but she hadn't even had a chance to eat...

She strode in, hair damp and posture tall. Her outfit was simple; a black tank top, dark grey leggings, heavy boots, and black robe. She stood head and shoulders taller than most of the others here; she offered a small wave to those she knew, but otherwise would keep silence until there was talk.

And when it was Jedi, talk was bound to come.

Well, she was done with talk. She was here for the call of battle, and she was ready for the fight to come. Now to see how many of her brethren were of the same mind as she was.

Riz'kacha walked in shortly after Nara had, wearing her bronzium Jedi armor with her lightsaber swinging at her belt. She was still a padawan, true, but she still knew that there was injustice happening. Everyone did, thanks to the broadcast by the Sith. As a Jedi, no matter what rank, she needed to be ready to defend people and apply herself.

Those that saw Riz'kacha might notice that she wasn't alone. Her droid, BD-9, accompanied her wherever she went within the room. It'd be clear by the way she looked at the little guy that she was pretty fond of him, though the two hadn't spent a lot of time together. She didn't know what she hoped to accomplish by bringing him with her, but she enjoyed the company nonetheless.

After picking a seat with a good view of Hannibal, she took a look about the room to take stock of the other Jedi present. Many of them she had never seen before. Others, she had. She had met Nara and seen Hannibal at a previous meeting, but the others were completely new to the purple Twi'lek.

Rather than walk, BD-9 took a ride on Riz'kacha's shoulder as she entered the room. He could already tell the general feeling within the room with just a cursory glance, though the droid judged it being too dense an atmosphere to try to alleviate. Instead, BD-9 pressed his head against Riz'kacha's cheek and wiggled his antennae. The motion tickled Riz'kacha's lekku, hopefully in comfort. It is the least that Beedee could do for his current companion.

BD-9's empathy module was put into full overdrive ever since he and Riz'kacha saw the holo-broadcast. Although the droid could not be fully certain of it, his database at least indicated that such a scene would be harmful to one's psyche.

Beedee thought about saying something to his Twi'lek companion, but decided that it could wait. More grim news could undo what deeds the droid could deal in this impending meeting. Simply being present is enough support for the time being.
