As the Padawan sent his blast of the force, he could feel the grip release from the neck allowing air to pass through freely once more. As he would take in a couple deep breaths trying to find a rhythmic breathing pattern once more he noticed the Acolyte close in and prepare for saber combat, sending a striking slash from Dimetri's left up and to his right. This motion would be a deadly one should he have not kept his eyes on the prize.

Moving his blade to meet hers he would strike it creating a lock with the blades before the Sith could make contact with the Jedi's body. Noticing the attack being made by his Jedi counterpart, he would try to react with helping take the Sith out of the fight. Using his positioning he would use the force on the left arm of the Sith with his own left hand creating a hold, keeping it still long enough for his attack to be made. Then in a quick motion having the placement of his blade on top of hers locked he would send it as fast as he could to her torso in a sideways assault, looking to remove her top half from her body.

As he would strike he would move his body to the right knowing she would have to choose to lunge her blade at Dimetri and be stabbed by the blade of his counterpart or suffer the attack from the Padawan looking to defuse the assault made by Hlo. Both attacks likely to be fatal though only can make sure of one thing, taking the Sith out of the fight. Dimeti didn't want to kill her, he only wanted her to stop murdering innocent guards trying to do their jobs. Some with families whom they may never see again.

It was almost guaranteed that the Champion with her would try to interfere but with whom? Both strikes almost simultaneous both fatal. With both being in quick succession and used almost by surprise the Acolyte would have very little time to react let alone the Champion behind her.

"Hey! That doesn't belong to you!" someone shouted as Tiamat flattened herself against the stairwell wall while several escaped and rioting prisoners ran past her to join the fighting elsewhere. They didn't take notice to her or the helmet she carried, but there was one rebel guard who seemed to be a bit perturbed to her having it in her possession. She glared at him and then looked down at the helmet, and shook her head, giving him a coy smile which seemed to just anger him more.

Thinking he could easily overpower the woman, or at least scare her into dropping the horned helmet, he raised his blaster, but was pushed aside by several fighters in the midst of putting each other in headlocks. The woman took advantage of the distraction and swung the helmet upward while gripping one of the horns. The swing would send the parallel horn upward into the rebel's unprotected gut, the tip of the horn protruding out his back. His eyes rolled into the back of his head as she used a foot to pull the horn from his center, the body falling with a thud.

Tiamat waved her palm as someone else charged at her, throwing them to the side as she started to look along the walls of holding cells for any sign of Altair.

Vahliri felt as Dimetri brought his own lightsaber down to clash with her own - the two blades of plasma crackling violently as they locked, keeping the half-Annfyn’s blade tilted downward and stopped short of cleaving through the Mirialan’s torso. She gritted her teeth, the strength of her right arm pressing upwards to keep pressure on the bladelock. It was at that moment that Vahliri spotted Hlodovic off to her left - catching the Cathar knight through her peripheral vision just as he dropped down to one knee and pointed his saber forward with a thrust. It didn’t take more than a split second to realize that both Jedi had the intention of ganging up on her at once. While she was somewhat surprised by the cheap tactic, the half-Annfyn wasn’t simply going to sit around and wait to be skewered.

Without turning her head to face Hlodvich, Vahliri merely rotated her left wrist - already positioned on the left side of her body and close to her torso - to face the Cathar Knight, the Force gathering within her palms. She felt the stasis that was applied to her left arm just then from Dimetri - attempting to hold it in place. While it prevented the half-Annfyn from moving the arm in any significant way, she didn’t exactly need to, given that the arm had purposefully been left positioned on the side of her body. Moreover, the fact that Dimetri was only a Padawan - roughly equal strength to Vahliri - and the fact that his focus was split, meant that his stasis wasn’t nearly as effective as it was likely intended. As a result, the stasis on Vahliri’s arm didn’t prevent the wave of concussive energy that burst from her palms - aimed in Hlodvich’s general direction while her gaze didn’t pull away from the Mirialan Padawan. It was far from an advanced usage of the Force, and required significantly less focus than the Padawan's own stasis to pull off.

With the Cathar having dropped down to one knee and essentially a stationary target, there would be little chance for him to dodge the wave of concussive energy that was sent in his direction. While the Force push wouldn’t be enough do any real damage, it would be enough to push the Cathar backwards several meters in a straight line from where he was kneeling - extending the range between them and away from the blade of yellow plasma that extended towards her. While the push spared the half-Annfyn from being completely shish-kebab'd by the Knight, she nevertheless felt as the blade of yellow plasma cut through her robes and pierced into her midsection - molten agony surging through her as the blade cut through the first few inches of flesh and muscle - narrowly avoiding any vital organs. The half-Annfyn couldn't help the pitched cry that escaped from her lips, nor the hot tears that began to well in her eyes from the pain. That sensation was excruciating and was enough to nearly cause her knees to buckle, and she knew the blow to her misection would undoubtedly hinder her going forward.

At the same time the Force blast poured from her left hand, Vahliri felt as Dimetri lifted his blade up from the bladelock and moved in to slice through her torso. With her own blade still positioned underneath Dimetri’s own, the half-Annfyn merely drew her right arm upwards to mitigate his attack - her crimson saber following the Mirialan’s to maintain the contact, capitalizing on the fact that he would've had to deliberately lifthis saber and released the opposing force from the bladelock. In quick motion, Vahliri rotated her arm in a counterclockwise turn - forcing their conjoined sabers to the left and pinning Dimetri’s beneath her own.

Naturally, the half-Annfyn didn’t follow up with any attack of her own - entirely focused on defending herself from being tag-teamed by the Jedi, and relying on Aadya - who the Jedi effectively left unopposed - to continue with an assault.

Altair ambled through the corridors, seeing a flurry of movement as he began to spot the riot ahead. He saw inmates fighting one another and a guard dead on the ground. The tiefling attempted to keep a low profile, walking right past the body and down towards the chamber (room 1). It was a wide room with desks overturned and papers flying everywhere. Through it all, he could hear catchy music over the speakers, the entire situation bizarre. He half wondered if they had served him some psychedelic shrooms because this felt suspiciously like an acid trip.

Altair pivoted to the side as an inmate went flying right past him. He didn’t engage anyone, his head spinning and nausea filling his body. An inmate rushed over with a stolen baton, pointing it at the tiefling.

“You with us or the guards?!”

The tiefling blinked a few times before promptly vomiting on the ground right there, some of it splashing on the inmate’s feet. Naturally this didn’t do him any favors as the inmate moved to hit him with the baton. Altair attempted to block but only managed to bring his arm up which took the blow. Pain shot through his body, but he managed to grab the baton and yank harshly to make the inmate slide forward and slip on the vomit and land face down on the ground.

Armed with a baton, Altair stepped on the inmate’s back and began to run dizzily through the chamber and forward. His vision was blurred and he was zig zagging and swaying as he ran, but he pushed through anyway.

The tactics of these Jedi were much different than what Aadya had seen from others. The defensiveness with which the yellow saber'd one fought especially seemed very strange to her. But if he was going to ignore her, perhaps she would simply do the same. Maybe his green-skinned partner would be a more interesting endeavor. And she would barely have to move to engage him.

Moving a few quick steps to her right, Aadya would simply grip her saber with both hands and point its tip towards Dimetri. Activating the dual phase function of her weapon, the blade would erupt to its full length of two meters.

Given their close proximity - maybe a meter between them - Dimetri would have very little time to react. Combine this with the timing of Aadya's attack, just as Vahl had released the force towards Hlodovic and continued her saber lock with Dimetri, the padawan would also be highly restricted in what defense he could muster, if he could muster one at all.

The elder Jedi would also have a hard time interrupting her movements as he too was engaged in his own attack with some force energy heading his way to boot.

Aadya's saber was aimed to pierce Dimetri through his torso, likely slicing its way through several organs should her attack find purchase.

Hlodovic felt the welling of power in the Acolyte’s hand, she hadn’t been entirely unprepared for an assault it seemed. However, just before the wave of telekinetic force could be unleashed, Hlodovic’s blade found purchase and bit into her abdomen. There wasn’t enough time to finish the thrust the telekinetic wave bathed over Hlodovic, pushing him backwards and freeing the end of his blade from the woman’s gut, leaving a molten hole where it had buried itself just moments before. Hlodovic felt his feet skidding backwards before the sole of his right foot impacted the metallic wall behind him with a hollow thud. Hlodovic was unsure if the wound he had given the Sith would mortal or not, it didn’t truly matter, wounds to the gut were serious even if his lightsaber failed to pierce any internal organs there could be burns on the surface linings of her innards that would require a day or two in a kolto bath, the damage had been done. Despite this injury, the Sith managed to fight through the pain, successfully defending herself from Padawan Dimetri’s counterattack, that was impressive, but Hlodovic knew it could simply be thanks to the adrenaline pumping through her system, shock from the wound would eventually set in and render her inert, it was a matter of time.

The acolyte’s shove had successfully pushed Hlodovic just outside of striking distance, creating a momentary reprieve for herself. Hlodovic had just begun to shift his weight on his backfoot to spring forward off the wall to better re-engage the Acolyte, when a brilliant crimson glow flared even brighter to his right, near where Padawan Dimetri was engaged with locked blades against the Acolyte. A sudden, horrible realization flooded Hlodovic, he hadn’t kept the true Sith occupied, he had risked everything to eliminate the Acolyte as quickly as possible and it had failed. Now, without him to pre-occupy the Sith there would be no cover for Dimetri, he was wide open to an attack that mirrored what he had done mere moments before. The massive Cathar felt exactly as he had after Lothal, guilty.

He had failed the initiates on Lothal, he hadn’t been there to protect them then and it seemed as if the same thing would happen again.

No.” A voice dissimilar to his own echoed in his mind. “Not again.

Instinctively, Hlodovic reached out with the Force, gripping the Padawan in a hard embrace and ripped the young man towards him, he had denied the Sith her engagement earlier and while he likely couldn’t protect Padawan Dimetri fully from her blade, he could ensure that the Padawan at least survived. Should the Padawan be ripped towards Hlodovic, the massive Cathar would lower his lightsaber’s guard for a moment the yellow blade biting into the duracrete floor, he would brace his back foot against the wall to act as an anchor, and he would allow the young man to slam against his chest before he would raise to his full height and attempt to hoist the young man over his shoulder. After this, Hlodovic would take a backwards step towards the blasted door off to his left flank.

Hlodovic knew their fight was over, he and Padawan Dimetri had to leave now. Although he wasn’t sure if the enraged Sith would allow that and tend to her wounded comrade or choose to press her advantage and continue their duel.

Ashla pushed on, another door opening before her, bringing her to another narrow corridor. She marched through, but met no opposition, that is till she rounded a corner and reached another door. She waved a hand and it swung open, and what greeted her was silence. No cocking of weapons, no demands to stand down, not even a whimpering plea for absent mothers. And that put her on edge. Something was wrong.

She stepped through the door, and the source of her unrest was quickly evident. One last hurdle stood between her and Altair, and it seemed a big one. A Jedi stood before her, old and wizened, but back unbent and blade held unwavering at her side. Behind her stood a squad of soldiers, weapons on the ready.

"It was foolish of you to come here Sith," the Jedi woman said as she took a step forward, "this is as far as you go."

Ashla made it about three meters into the room before coming to a stop, taking deep breaths and letting her anger subside, letting patience claw its way back. She was no use to Altair dead, and that was what awaited her by rushing into this challenge. Then she felt something, now that she wasn't consumed by her anger, now that she could hear herself think. Behind her, mirroring her steps. Another.

Trust Altair to have enough friends to entice more than one fool to invade a Jedi prison.

Smiling, something that got a confused look from the Jedi, Ashla suddenly dashed to the side, only the Jedi following her movements. The soldiers caught up soon enough, and began firing at her haphazardly. The Jedi immediately waved for them to stop, but that salvo was enough for her to manage to swing one bolt back just right to cut down one of their number.

"Stand down," barked the Jedi, "we just need to wear her...." The Jedi paused as she too sensed what Ashla had sensed, the other Sith.

There was a crack from the bones in the neck of the twi'lek as she pulled back on their tendrils sharply as she held him down under her foot. Tiamat released her grasp, letting the head fall freely into the durasteel floor as she gritted her teeth in bloodlust. She grabbed the horned helmet from his dead, outstretched grasp as she ducked from another swing from an inmate and continued her way, looking among the tall and possible horned males as they fought among themselves. It would have been nice for them to all hold still and there was a growing annoyance as there seemed to be a stench that came from all these guys inside this prison.

Tiamat shoved the horns into the front of someone who got in her way as she looked over the railing to more fighting below. It was there that she spotted some familiar horns and despite she looked rather murdery, internally she was excited to see Altair was up and attempting to get out of there.

As the tiefling would zig-zag his way to his freedom, he would feel someone grasp his arm, and if he wasn't too drugged, also a familiar presence as Tiamat held onto him, his helmet in the other hand. Though if he didn't recognize her and acted on instinct, she was ready to defend herself from the baton he gripped. "Altair, c'mon-"

Dimetri thought his attack would work, though he also knew Sith were skilled in their ways of battle. The Acolyte countering his attack and successfully stopping his blade from slicing her torso, would avoid death. Though Hlo managed to get a stab in with his saber. The attack somewhat worked, which was great until the young Mirialan noticed Aadya come up and manage to get into attacking position. When her blade came in thier was nothing the Padawan could do or thought of doing in the moment. Shellshock terror was all that came.

As the Champion struck, he could feel the burning agony of the lightsaber puncturing his left most stomach. He couldn't bring himself to move until the blade was removed from his body. As it left and kept a cauterized wound in his body, he fell to the ground. He couldn't bring himself to scream in pain. All he could do was breath ever so lightly. Never did he think he could imagine the pain that came with the lightsaber's strike. Though now he knew. It was painfully immense.

As he laid there, he could feel himself being lifted and his body began to go numb. All he wanted to do was rest his eyes. He was tired.. so tired.

As he was hoisted onto the shoulder of Hlo, his eyes began to shut and though he was still breathing he wouldn't be able to fight for himself any longer. The Padawan was bested, and the Sith would succeed in running the Jedi off.

The Togruta Sith and her Jedi opponent would hear Vex before they saw her. The lights in the corridor had begun to flicker before dousing it darkness, and her boot falls carried. The prison guards accompanying the Jedi opened fire, hoping to prevent the Togruta from receiving backup, only for their bolts to meet the sudden searing light of Vex's lightsaber as it burst to life.

«Fuck this,» one of the guards said, ripping their vibro-dagger free of its sheathe and charging into the black. They never made it close enough to stab her.

Vex caught her would-be-assailant telekinetically by the throat and lifted him so that the ground was just out of reach of his feet. He struggled against her grip, but his protestations were meaningless. His companions kept their blasters trained in her direction, but they dared not shoot, lest she use him as a meat shield to absorb their shots. These were Jedi soldiers Vex was dealing with. She knew their weaknesses.

"Stop!" the Jedi facing the Togruta barked out. "Let him go, Sith. You've more than made your point."

Beneath her helmet, Vex smirked.

It was always funny to her how the Jedi tried to paint the Sith as the unreasonable, violent ones. As if it wasn't their own guards who had just rushed her with a knife. Vex didn't reply. Not yet. She let the man choke and gasp, his feet kicking for purchase on the smooth floor tiles to no avail. Only when she closed her hand into a fist, ending his suffering with a sickening crunch, did she comply, letting his body drop to at the Jedi's feet.

"You have something of ours," Vex said. "We'd like him back."

The Jedi's eyes were momentarily on her dead companion before rising to meet the pair of Sith. "Any chance of that died with him," she replied curtly.

"Funny," Vex said, the other end of her blade bursting to life. She gave her saberstaff a twirl. "I was hoping you'd say that."

Altair was somewhere in this prison. The Sith duo would have to make this quick. But that didn't mean Vex couldn't enjoy dismembering his captors in the meantime. @Wit
