Size: The W2 is a fairly small pistol, comparable to a light blaster pistol.
Composition:
Diatium and Tricopper - Rechargeable Power Cell.
Plasteel - Power generator crank.
Durasteel - Various internal parts, weapon housing and grip.
Copper - Wiring, power generator, and electromagnets.
Range: Optimum - 5m , Maximum - 10m
Ammunition Capacity: The power cell holds enough energy for 7 shots before needing to be recharged, which takes a minute of constant cranking of the generator.
Description: The W2 'Pricker' is based off the original W1 'Stingbeam' design, utilizing it's unique electron technology in a smaller, more compact form. Unlike the original W1, this pistol was designed by the Mandalorian Underground, and sold by Donomel Hevay Manufacturing. Although, the Underground has shared the designs with the other clans, and they can be made fairly easily.
The W2 uses the same electron stream as the W1, however, due to the size, a smaller beam is created with less power than the original. This decreases the range of the weapon considerably. Although, due to the nature of the gun, it can fire more than the original, and has a smaller recharge time.
This weapon is mostly used as a utility sidearm for when the soldier wielding the weapon is on an extended mission; due to the higher capacity battery and smaller size.
