DESCRIPTION​

When a crime syndicate makes a request from a Mandalorian corporation what you might expect is the Lancer-class Pursuit Craft. Sometime during the Clone Wars, MandalMotors based their design on SoroSuub light freighters. Black Sun wanted to have a cargo hauler that could still take on opportunistic adversaries and also deal with any attention from patrol craft manned by sector authorities.

The Lancer-class pursuit craft requires less maintenance than most other ships with its standard systems. This is also thanks to the redundant systems in place across the ship. In the event one piece of equipment failed, its backup would kick in. These are easy to maintain for the mechanic or engineer working on the ship. Like many other ships of its time, the Lancer was very modular and could take ship upgrades available for most small craft and light freighters.

Elenath’s Portent Lancer has been modified, with the co-pilot chair having been replaced by an astromech socket. The quarters and facilities have also been adjusted for long term habitation with the removal of one of the maximum passenger capacities.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. Lancer-class pursuit craft are well armed, and civilian operators will require extra licensing to operate one legally.

INTENT​

To create a re-skinned, custom starship for Elenath based on the existing Lancer-class Pursuit Class.
