DESCRIPTION
The Westar C-93 "Ranger" heavy blaster pistol is a new design by Concord Crescent Technologies spurred into production by a surge of activity among the Mandalorian clans. Calls to war include a need for weaponry, and few companies can match the Mandalorians' when it comes to powerful pistols.

Forged from a mix of durasteel and dallorian alloy, these blasters are designed for both durability and reliability. Despite being longer than most standard pistols the slim profile and balanced weight allows easy and accurate targeting. Atop the weapon is an optional detachable microscope that replaces the standard iron sights frequently preferred by Mandalorian warriors. Its simple grip beneath the barrel lets one hold it securely in two hands but is easily removed and replaced with under-barrel attachments of the owner's choosing.

Its most unusual feature is the charging handle at the rear. When pulled back, besides becoming a slim stock, the internal blast and focusing chambers are reconfigured such that the Ranger functions as an especially small carbine. The range doubles at the cost of reduced shot power. Fortunately, the ability for a perfectly reliable pistol to act as a main arm when needed makes up for this shortcoming, especially for forces as generally mobile as Mandalorians. The stock's final length can be preset using the including maintenance kit's tools.

Rangers power packs are reloaded through the grip. This weight, combined with he charging handle, makes for a surprisingly well-balanced pistol despite its length. It features ambidextrous controls and operating lights above the grip, using a setting wheel and diagonal light. Standard for many modern weapons, green indicates safety on, red is live, and blue is stun.

Despite the dark weather-proofed coating, the barrel's business end still tends to gather a polychromatic sheen when frequently used, referred to as 'Slingshine'.

Mostly restricted to those in Mandalorian space, these weapons are seen by some as a sign of pride in the resurgence of their people.

DESCRIPTION
Designed after carbines favoured by Mandalorian supercommandos, the Galaar-35 is a modern update of classic weaponry. Its body is thoroughly proofed against weather, dust, or other contaminants as well as being durable enough to function as a club as needed. Iron sights come standard, although it also has adjustable iron sights for those who prefer the manual approach.

The stock is solid and padded for long use and the barrel shroud's efficient cooling prevents warping under the conditions of a pitched battlefield. Rather than a standard front grip, the Galaar-35 uses a second handle on an inset rail. This handle can be replaced as desired, but it's there for to provide a solid brace for the weapon's overcharged marksman function.

Taking after other similar innovations, the carbine has a hammer toggle at the rear which activates a high-power setting. Pulling it back expands its blaster gas chamber, increases the power flow, and supercharges the barrel's focusing array. Together this feature allows the weapon to fire heavy bolts up to 300 meters with alarming speed and force akin to a magnetic accelerator. It also drains five times as much power and gas from the weapon to do so, largely increases recoil, and doubles the cycle time to a full second. Repeated back-to-back usage also significantly reduces the weapon's overall reliability.

While not as specialized or long-range as a proper sniping rifle, this still provides the Mandalorians it was designed for a convenient option for picking off long-range or heavily armoured targets. This is precisely why it was favoured by the Death Watch group.

Blaster packs are loaded pistol-style into the grip and, as usual, it features an ambidextrous fire selector for safe, lethal, and stun settings. They can also be ordered or modified in a stockless variant.

DESCRIPTION
Designed and manufactured by the weaponry arm of MandalMotors, the MAG-79 was created with the specific of high-mobility supercommandos in mind. Rather than the bulky rifle variants of usual grenade launchers, this one is practically a pistol.

Relying on an older propellant method using a modern mix in addition to magnetic acceleration, this launcher loads and fires single launcher-specific grenades up to a 50m arc. It can accept concussion, frag, smoke, or even plasma rounds. These grenade rounds can be set to either timed detonation or impact as needed and have the standard explosive radius of five meters. Instead of grenades, the MAG-79 can also be loaded with the same micro-rockets as the commonly used wrist launchers, firing them up to 100m with an explosive radius of 3m.

Loading and firing is kept simple using a top latch. Bending the barrel downward forces out the prior shell for reloading. An ambidextrous lever safety locks the trigger to prevent accidental discharge of a grenade strapped to one's belt. The stock can be extended for greater stability over long distance, especially since the chemical charge gives it a stiff recoil. Although small, braved firing is recommended over significant distance.

A similar version dubbed the MAG-79A functions on the same principle but is designed to be attached to other compatible weapons, primarily the Galaar-35 carbine, replacing the forward grip.

LEGALITY
Restricted. Grenade launchers are extremely powerful weapons, and are thus banned on most civilized worlds. Even on uncivilized ones, carrying one around in public is sure to draw unwanted attention.

An immense heavy starbomber designed by Drommund Kalakar Shipyards to follow the Mallaeus, the Volturius is the Empire's answer to requirements for heavy bombardment without a Star Destroyer. With the problem of orbital bombardment's imprecise nature and the expense of fielding Star Destroyers at all even with a thriving economy. Working off the bomber tactics utilized by the Rebel Alliance of the past and the new Imperial combined arms doctrine, the Volturius was born.

All the bombardment power with a minimal crew, the cockpit contains a pilot and co-pilot with one bombardier at minimum. Seven gunners man the many turrets, arranged with a wide field of fire to discourage attack by enemy fighters, with a full crew containing a co-bombardier.

Carrying enough proton bombs to crack a Star Destroyer, in an ideal situation Volturius are escorted by the full array of Mallaeus, Aquilae, and Impetus on their way to a target. By design, however, they're durable and well-armed enough to function with minimal escort. Like the Malleus, heavy shields keep it safe while light armor plating attenuates bleedthrough damage.

Long-range sensors combine with a precision bomb targeting array to find and target planetary targets, calculating the drop arc for onboard bombardiers. Redundant electronics and emergency corridor seals allow it to keep flying even with several hull breaches, even where other ships would suffer cascading power failures. This is what gives it the moniker of 'Flying Fortress'.

The heavy big brother to the oft-fielded TIE-line bombers, the Volturius is another step in Imperial combined-arms doctrine. Seen most often in either precision strikes or pitched battles, the Flying Fortress often strikes fear in ships or planets unable to stop their relentless advance.

DESCRIPTION
The RT-7 Scorpio repulsortank is a military ground vehicle designed by Drommund Kalakar's Land Systems division. Meant to contrast the traditional Imperial reliance on intimidating but vulnerable walker platforms, the Scorpio is a modernized form of armored cavalry and anti-armor support vehicle.

It's armed with a heavy-hitting main gun mounted on a mobile turret, capable of limited vertical traverse and full horizontal movement. Dedicated cooling fins give the weapon staying power in long engagements. Its turret is maneuverable and accurate, with crews trained to work the turret and vehicle together to target highly mobile enemy vehicles. The main gun is a heavy laser cannon, which can destroy armored vehicles and shred infantry. Mixed forward-facing blaster cannons allow it to sweep ground forces, vehicles, and barricades.

Retractable plate-covered, magnetically accelerated grenade launchers on either side fire explosive projectiles up to 200 meters, generally to clear obstacles or infantry. These launchers have a mortar mode used with called-in coordinates, rotating upward and charging their capacitors to launch indirect ordnance up to 750 meters. It takes time to switch between both functions, and while in mortar mode the projectiles can't strike within 75 meters of the vehicle.

Remotely crewed anti-infantry turrets can be mounted above the side ladders and next to the top hatch, the vehicle's design allowing it to effectively 'delouse' itself of enemy infantry if needed. Ablative armor plating leaves it virtually immune to small arms fire or most grenades up to light blaster cannons, capable of resisting medium blasters cannons.

Each vehicle has four hatches and main internal spaces; the commander/main gunner hatch on the turret, the driver hatch at the front, and one hatch for each side 'pontoon' for sub-gunners. These areas are entirely separated by blast plating. If the turret or a pontoon is disabled or destroyed, the rest of the vehicle can still function. In the event of catastrophic damage or ammunition breach the armor and internal design force explosions outward to give the crew a greater chance of survival.

An endeavor by the Drommund Kalakar design teams to fill a gap in the Imperial combined arms doctrine, what the RT-7 Scorpio lacks in intimidating presence it makes up for with versatility, maneuverability, and firepower. They are seeing increased usage on the front lines in place of older and more vulnerable walker models like the AT-ST, fielded either as armored cavalry for infantry support or guarding larger assault vehicles.

LEGALITY

Pulse Wave and most Slugthrower weapons are banned in many places, just like disruptors would be in the future, whereas simple stun pistols would be legal on all but the most extremely pacifistic worlds. Portable missile launchers and such are likely illegal in much of the Core, but whipcord launchers and other non lethal devices would be considered humane and legal. Basically, what happens if you get caught by the authorities with this?

INTENT
Why? Why did you create this? No, seriously. Weapons are judged with greater scrutiny than other tech. Guns in Star Wars go "pew pew" and burn your opponent, that's pretty much all you need to know. If you're submitting a weapon for approval, it needs to be pretty exotic or special. This will influence any ruling made on your technology, so please explain at length what your intentions are.

DESCRIPTION
During the Rise of the Empire and Rebellion eras, certain groups within Fondor Shipyards and elsewhere in the galaxy realized the FT-19 Fondor Haulcraft had an overpowered ion reactor and space to spare. This lead to the covert dissemination of a design kit to add additional retractable weapons to the craft, popular both amongst the criminally wealthy or other rebellious souls trying to blend in with galactic traffic.

Done 'off the books' by certain Fondor engineers or at places like Amorris Drive Yards by those who'd fled the Imperial-dominated company, this modkit added a series of difficult-to-detect weapons. A double rapid alternating cannon at the front, and wingtip-mounted laser cannons were wired into existing spare space.

Rebels, smugglers, or well-connected transports operating in rough areas of space who could afford the kit valued the extra punch for warding off pirates or even rebels eager to steal valuable cargo.

The kit is still available for those in the know, although it's far less illegal in the modern day. Still, hidden starship weapons tend to garner a second look once noticed.


LEGALITY
Restricted. In more civilized systems, flying a craft with additional weaponry requires permits or special licensing in parts of the galaxy. Their concealed nature may attract attention if noticed.

INTENT
To add a subtle armament option to the Fondor Haulcraft for those who could afford it.

RESTRICTIONS
This modification may only be applied to the FT-19 Fondor Haulcraft.
